I contacted David regarding setting up a will and trust. Everything sounded fine. He responded to us on June 6th with forms that we needed to fill out and return to him. We filled them out and returned them to him on June 9th. No response from the 9th to the 24th. I called office and left a voicemail. Week passes w/o response. I called his cell phone and left a voicemail. Week passes w/p response. ... I called a different lawyer.

Mr. Rich took my child support case without knowing if we would ever collect a dime. He worked tirelessly for 14 months until I finally received my first child support payment. I had given up any hope of ever receiving anything. He had to work with Social Security who would only respond via US mail. I applaud his efforts and don't know many attorneys who would pursue this without receiving any payment until the case was resolved.

I have to say I had the exact opposite experience as the other reviewer. He was very fair and did a good job. There was a time or two where I did not get a call back right away but they were not emergency situations anyway. I am sure I will be back in court again on my case in the next couple of years and will call him to represent me again.

She was in with the DA and didn't help my husband at all on his case, she would not fight for him why because the court was paying her. She no better then the public defender. She didn't even give him the right days credited. She should be an attorney an do her job right or not be an attorney at all !!! I would not recommend her as an attorney, she will fail you just like she did my husband.

She was in with the DA and didn't help my husband at all on his case, she would not fight for him why because the court was paying her. She no better then the public defender. She didn't even give him the right days credited. She should be an attorney an do her job right or not be an attorney at all !!! I would not recommend her as an attorney, she will fail you just like she did my husband.

First of all, I would like to state that I am somewhat familiar with lawyers. I have been in business 19 years and during the course of that time I have engaged many attorneys for mergers and acquisitions, financial counseling, legal disputes with the State of Texas, HR related matters, contract negotiations, and litigation. Having said that, I am not an expert nor a novice.
In19 years, I have never worked with a legal group that is more disorganized, incompetent, and ignorant of basic financials. What is apparent with this organization is they focus on the billing more than the service. I am not one to argue fees provided there is a demonstration of competence and integrity. Unfortunately, you will not find it with this firm
It would appear that the Dadvocates and Samera were once competent and respectable if you look at the reviews. However, I would encourage you to look at current reviews. Most are quite poor and this should discourage you from engaging with them.
I sincerely hope that this law firm considers these reviews b/c they have fallen from grace and should seriously contemplate dismissing Samera and her team.

The entire team was excellent gave me a lot of information helped me to remain calm, and on the day of Katy in particular went way above and beyond the call of duty to help facilitate me reaching the courthouse on time. I was very impressed on every level with this operation.
Oh, and they significantly reduced the amount of trouble I was going to get into! Well worth the retainer.

My case was unique and took way longer to resolve than first anticipated. The cost was higher than originally anticipated, but it was due to the complications of the case. They were always helpful when questions arose. The only negative is the original lawyer quit and moved on so I had to have another lawyer assigned, but it did not really affect the outcome.

Ron Salas is an extremely condescending, rude, and unprofessional lawyer. Rather than having any compassion for his perspective client, he immediately was mean, rude, condescending and taking the oppositions side before I could finish my story and give all necessary details. He had no interest in hearing my story, or the challenges that I was facing. It was clear to me that he has no empathy, and wanted to immediately rush me into an unfavorable settlement rather than trying to actually represent his possible client.
I would not recommend Ron Salas to anyone under any circumstance.

Katherine Reckman represented me in my divorce and she was very fair and steadfast through my proceedings. My ex husband chose very inept representative which derailed his case. In the end, he trusted Katherine to write up our agreement which he eventually signed. Divorce is ugly and stressful and in Colorado, you need someone who can negotiate with the other side to keep the cost down. Katherine did that and was able to do it with empathy. Highly recommended.

I'm a big believer now in the collaborative approach, and I ended up spending far less in litigation costs and got through the process quicker than anyone I know in similar circumstances. I've been through a custody battle for the last three years. She knows her stuff, and she is so good and passionate about her work.

When it comes to a bad woman trying to destroy a good man, in a marriage for instance, this attorney is not strong or capable enough to help. It don't matter if the wife has had sexual relations with another woman in front of her children and her children telling people about it. This is a attorney that takes money and backs out. In a case related to Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, they are as good as her lawyers. Cases like this I would stay away from this attorney. DANBORN IS A SCAM, HE TOOK ALL THE MONEY AND SUBMITTED NOTHING TO THE COURT SO THE CASE WOULD BE LOST!!! BE CAREFUL!!!

I hired Sarah after my abusive ex filed for Joint custody of my son. Mediation is required before going to court. I spent months providing requested information to use in courts that would have never been necessary if she would have just scheduled the mediation. She then withdrew from my case the 1st time I was late on making a payment even though she had a retainer. Before she formally withdrew she flat out told me she wouldn't do any further work without payment. She then reschedule the mediation she was legally obligated to represent me in to after she withdrew.
She did not listen or do anything I asked. She turned the one page of request my ex wanted into a 16 page document that ended up giving him things he never asked for. And she didn't ever bother to revise the document before sending it. It contained the wrong name and gender for my son.
she ever had the arrogance to tell me if I had $100,000 I could win the case but since I didn't l should just come to an agreement.

I was really glad that Kim and Maureen got them to settle out of court to where we wouldn't have to make an appearance.
