Ronald Plymale is my father, and to say he was a legend to the law community would be an understatement. Ever since the day of his untimely passing, He has been missed dearly. Come 4 years later and his adopted daughter who is well into adulthood had asked for half of his wrongful death settlement, (which amounted to over $120k), so when i needed help mediating the matter, Mike Guluzian came to my aid and helped settle the matter swiftly. He did it as a favor for everything my dad had established for not only him but so many other lawyers in the community. I feel so blessed and incredibly grateful that Mr. Wagner was appointed my council in a custody case in Pickaway county. He is so knowledgeable and amazing at his job. Let me tell you what a wonderful lawyer Amy Weis is. Amy helped navigate me and my two young sons (with the assistance of a wonderful guardian ad litem, Kerry McCormick) through an ugly custody battle and divorce in 2010. I credit Amy with my two now grown sons being happy and successful young men-she and Kerry kept those boys with their Dad. Fast forward over a decade later, and I needed some information from the divorce settlement for tax reasons. I left a voicemail for Amy, and had a response with all information I needed emailed to me with a nice note within an hour. Amy was so skilled throughout the entire process, and obviously keeps incredible records. And, most importantly, she cares. What a wonderful attorney.

I usually do not write many reviews, but I was compelled to do so based on the great experience I had with Weis Law Group. I was going through a BAD custody battle (relocation case) involving my 2 year old son at the time and was initially recommend to Amy Weis by a family friend who is also an attorney. He told me Amy is one of the best in Ohio so I was excited to contact her about representing me. Once I reached out, I was told that Amy could not take my case (I do not remember the reason why, however I want to say it was because she was mainly handling divorce cases and my case did not involve a divorce) however I was told that her partner David could represent me. At first, I was extremely hesitant to work with David for many reasons. The first being that my family friend had highly recommended Amy, had no knowledge of David and his experience and lastly with me being a woman and a mother I was honestly unsure if David would be able to resonate with me, my situation and represent me the best way possible as the other Male Attorneys I had consultations with prior seemed to favor fathers.
With that, I had a consultation with both David and Amy, they were both very knowledgeable and I was told Amy would partner with David throughout the case and I felt good moving forward. I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional legal representation provided by Attorney David in my relocation custody case and I could not be more thankful that Amy partnered me with him. From the very beginning, I spoke with many different attorneys both male and female and was informed by other attorneys that winning such a challenging case (relocation) would be difficult. I was told that the magistrate assigned to my case does not like relocations and hardly granted them and they expressed doubt in the outcome. However, David displayed unwavering confidence and expertise throughout the process. He went above and beyond to come up with creative ways to prove what would be in the best interest of my son.

Left multiple voicemails and not a single return call. USPS lost a creditor check to pay off account and I can't get in touch with anyone to stop payment and re-issue. A joke of a legal group.

When I first talked to Evan I thought he was nice like the other reviews, but then after I hired him, Evan Engler start ignoring my emails and communications like I’ve never hired him, he charged me hundreds of dollars for nonexistent services. We ended up having a bad outcomes due to his laziness and not being responsible. Evan Engler does not worth the money he charges his clients. I’d have to say he’s a bad lawyer.

Doesn't matter how important your case or the timeline. You can wait two months for them to never contact you, despite contacting them multiple times, and lose your court case, or you can go elsewhere. There's nice reviews from years ago. Apparently they fell off.

Kelly Morgan is a very rare Attorney. He is kind, patient, a great listener, easy to communicate with, responsive and solution oriented. I reached out to Attorney Morgan after a business deal had gone awry, in search of a legal expert that could help my company. In my mind, help meant, “let’s go to court.” Attorney Morgan, however, with his calm and level-headed demeanor, talked me off the ledge with a suggestion to meet with the opposing party because of the relationship he and I have. Catherine has been wonderful. She has been extremely professional and has gone above and beyond for this case I had. When I tell you she got everything done in a timely manner. My ex wife tried to change the schedule and not have me make decisions for my son who is autistic. Catherine told me everything would be ok and that I would be able to once everything was done. I’ve been battling this case for almost a year and Catherine got everything I needed to ensure my son have the life we all envisioned. I now have joint custody of my son and get to make decisions regarding his medical and schooling. As a father who been in this situation and a ex wife who seen me go through this. I agree with the two reviews. I did not hear from him for extended period of times and then when meetings came up they were last minute and I was rushed. In the first meeting he was a Salesman told me what I wanted to hear and gave me the options I wanted to know. Once the case was over even though he said he would still be there for me he wasn't. I did not know about the agreement between him and the prosecutor to the morning of court he had previously said things would be all right. After court he said there was no way he would have gotten any other better agreement. He may be a good attorney but was not for me.
He gave me the price of retainer in the maximum amount instead of probably would not go to the maximum amount until 3 months later he called me into his office and said I could sign a contract or not use him and the retainer would go to the maximum amount. I didn't even go to jury trial and it was a minor felony for mid 20 thousands dollars.

Service was terrible. I used the attorney because my employer had a "significant savings" built in. My assigned attorney missed all the deadlines and put it all back on m.... minutes before the court hearing. Nothing got filed, I had to start paying child support because nothing was contested by my lawyer, and of everything you would hire a lawyer for, nothing was done. Even took a couple emails to to confirm to have him resign off my case as my representative so I could start trying to redo everything that should have been done already

It would be difficult to choose the most distressing aspect of Julia Leveridge’s counsel. She procrastinated in completing important work, and multiple times did not return phone calls or emails in a timely manner. She did not take responsibility for errors and then procrastinated remediation.
Ms Leveridge counseled me to pay my ex’s share of our county property tax and said she would get that money back ($950). She did not.
She failed to complete an agreed entry for my ex to move out at the end of January. Then the paperwork for child support went to FCCS with an incorrect date. I paid 2 extra months child support ($1300) to get them off my back. Julia Leveridge said she would take care of it and did not. Then she procrastinated and did not file an agreed entry to fix this, for more than a year!
By that time my ex refused to sign it and FCCS seized part of my stimulus check ($850), and both my federal and state tax refunds ($3500).
That’s more than $6000 that I lost beyond the $45,000 I paid for her representation. When we got to court, this nightmare got worse quickly. Opposing counsel submitted an offer containing a fraudulent appraisal that substantially increased what I would pay my ex. Julia Leveridge’s professional counsel was to make a hasty, high pressure decision to settle, without access to time, tools or resources to evaluate that decision. I gave in to her pressure.
I’m still upset, and sorry I chose Julia Leveridge and Kemp, Shaeffer and Rowe.

I usually do not write many reviews, but I was compelled to do so based on the great experience I had with Weis Law Group. I was going through a BAD custody battle (relocation case) involving my 2 year old son at the time and was initially recommend to Amy Weis by a family friend who is also an attorney. He told me Amy is one of the best in Ohio so I was excited to contact her about representing me. Once I reached out, I was told that Amy could not take my case (I do not remember the reason why, however I want to say it was because she was mainly handling divorce cases and my case did not involve a divorce) however I was told that her partner David could represent me.
