Attorney Benjamin Luftman represented me back in 2017. Im leaving a review now because back then i wasnt aware of how helpful and important reviews were and over time as i learned how important they were ive just forgotten to leave a review. So i feel i should leave one now. So. Back on topic. Mr.luftman represented me back in 2017 for allegations that were made against me and without going to deep into detail what i will say is Mr.Luftman and his team were very kind. Answered any questions i had and were just the absolute best. While searching for an attorney i only wanted the best and this law firm was on top of the list. Even to this day. Years after everything has been said and done with the case in 2017 he continues to answer random questions down the line with the utmost honesty. Whether i like the answer or not. He doesnt hide anything. He was reasonably priced. He will be the one i turn to if anything shall happen in the future though i hope i may never have to call him again. I highly HIGHLY recommend turning to Luftman, Heck and associates should you need legal services. One other thing i will add is if you need lawyers for different situations if he doesn't handle your type of case he has nothing but the best recommendations for other law firms and has connected me with yet another top lawyer dealing with family matters. Doesn't matter how important your case or the timeline. You can wait two months for them to never contact you, despite contacting them multiple times, and lose your court case, or you can go elsewhere. There's nice reviews from years ago. Apparently they fell off.

I was informed of the difficulties that my case presented to me and was told how he would begin to represent me and what the plan of attack was AND WHY. I have used Mr. Herders services previously to file a bankruptcy and my case was handled professionally. Recently I had to contact them for some information on my old case and he was very helpful and provided the information I needed quickly. The issue involved a mortgage that was thankfully removed 10 years ago. He looked up the records and his office did the job perfect. He remembered me and actually answered the phone too. He has the same high energy in the past. Does he ever sleep? He also explained that I could not accomplish the result now. I timed the bankruptcy just right. Mark Herder filed my bankruptcy case and made a bad situation turn into a positive one. He and his staff took care of all the money troubles that I had from bad decisions from a bad divorce. I really felt like he was in my corner, and he even called me back tonight, after work, on a weekend. I am sure that he had plenty of other things to do during this pandemic as well. I am glad I followed his advice and instructions from the first time I contacted him several years ago. The car is saved and I have taken real good care of it too. My bankruptcy case will finish in 15 months and I have made all of the payments, just like he sugested. I will freely own my car at the end of the case, with no debts. My friend worked with Jeremy on his divorce thus recommended him to me, which I now thank him for. Working with Jeremy was not like working with a cold lawyer. It feels like working with a friend who happens to be a lawyer. His work style is very professional but friendly and approachable. Even though he had tons of cases and court work, he always did his best to be flexible, accommodate my schedule and respond my emails promptly. I cannot think of any moment with him that made me nervous or uncomfortable. I was not an expert on divorce (who is?) and had a lot of silly and basic questions on how things should work. And I freaked out several time when things from my ex’s side surprised me, Jeremy was always very patient and helpful to answer my questions, and give me professional and personal advice.
During the course, I changed job twice and had to put the case on hold, which created some additional work for him. At a point, my ex’s lawyer totally dropped the ball. I am very thankful that he was very nicely and patiently helping me with my paperwork and instructed me on how to handle such situation. Opposite to my ex’s lawyer who was only reactive, Jeremy took proactive actions to help move this case forward to the direction that benefited me. At the end of the case, I am fully confident in his expertise, professional knowledge, and experience. More importantly, I see him as a trusted friend with nice personality and a beautiful heart. I certainly don’t want myself or my friends to get involved in legal matters. But if we do, Jeremy will absolutely be my go-to-person and I will be absolutely confident and proud to recommend him to my friends, because having Jeremy will be our best choice.

When first approaching my divorce I must have tried meeting every lawyer I possibly could in order to find the right fit. I ended up knowing right when meeting him that this was the person I wanted to represent me in my battle that was going to be the worst thing I had ever in my life went threw. I walked in his office with a ton of anger from not being able to see my kids and all the false information being said about me. By the 3rd time I seen him I had my head firmly secured and was able to focus 100% on my goals. He was only a attorney yet made such a HUGE positive impact and set me and my children on the right path and not simply because he was being paid to do so. At many times he showed his genuine care, compassion and understanding. My kids grew to know his name and are still to this day very thankful for him. I am a father that now has my kids the majority of the time and can see to it the kids have a bright future. A few years have passed since concluding my divorce and I was forced to be right back in court for contempt that was so far from the truth. I figured I could try to find a cheap attorney to hopefully quickly fix the problem, 2 years later and thousands being wasted nothing was fixed. I once again hired Ken and the problem was fixed and luckily I am out of court again. I learned my lesson, any future needs he will be my first call! I was never asked to make any reviews or offered anything to do so. This awesome man truly deserves a good word put out there for him, about him.

I made the mistake of choosing this attorney to safeguard my interests in my mother's estate and he did the opposite. He spent the first year fairly respectful, but when I pressed for action, he retreated and lied to me regarding estate law in Ohio. I am out of state so he knew how to work it. I spent 4 years and way too much money on this so called lawyer . He won't be your lawyer, but will regard opposing counsel's interest over yours. Mr. Slagle will be more interested in pleasing the estate attorney than you, the client paying the bill. He doesn't want to fight a case, but rather sit in his office and double or triple bill you while emailing and booking phone conferences. He bills for reviewing your case a great deal, sometimes 2 or 3 hours of reading at a time in many instances, then when talking with him, he is clueless on what you discussed previously. I had to run down deeds, he didn't even see to important details. Near the end, knowing I am stuck with him, he even became disrespectful if I didn't go along with his suggestions that left me holding the short end of the stick. His last token disaster- accepting a check for my part in the estate post dated 10 years from now. Learn from me and run.
