Mr. Turner was recommended to me by some one on Nextdoor. I just asked my wife for a divorce, and didn't know where to turn for the next step. It was like finding a Consumer Reports Best Buy in legal services. He isn't the cheapest, but he wasn't the most expensive either. His value proved itself many times over. If you find yourself looking for an attorney, please consider him.
My wife hired a one of those expensive lawyers, ranked as one of the top 100 Lawyers of Texas, and fought over the garden hose.
From my initial meeting with Atty Turner, I knew I had some one on my side. Little did he know how contentious this divorce would be, yet, he stuck through it till the end, and despite my wife spending tens of thousands of dollars on her “high powered” attorney, she still had to pay me to end the marriage.
It took almost 18 months, endless discovery, mediation, and a bit of frustration, but he never gave up. All my friends said men don't get a fair shake in divorce here in Texas. I think that's because they didn't hire Attorney Andrew Turner, of the Turner law Firm.

I had an opportunity to work with Atty. Andrew Turner. I had an out of state custody case. Since I was long distance, we spoke several times via phone. Mr. Turner was well knowledgeable and took my case without even meeting me in person. I thought that was very admirable. I am grateful that he was able to take my case. I cannot stress enough how important it is to find the right attorney for a divorce. I had already hired a different attorney for my divorce proceedings and then needed to find an attorney that specialized in Education, which is where I came across Marianne and her Avvo profile. After speaking with her, I knew right away that she was the right attorney for me and hired her to take care of my situation with the university. Within a week or so, Marianne seamlessly handled my situation with the university without any hassle on my part, and I knew I wanted her on board to be involved with my divorce. Since the current divorce attorney was charging so much and falling short with results, I fired that attorney and retained Marianne. Let me tell you, it was night and day after that point and Marianne once again took care of business and gave me the results I wanted in my divorce.
She is extremely professional, always on top of what is going on, excellent with communication, extremely patient, and very fair with billing. I would never hesitate to recommend her to any friends and family that are in need of an attorney that specializes in the fields of Education or Family Law. There are truly genuine attorneys out there and this law firm IS NOT ONE OF THEM.....Vickers Cunningham thought it was wise to show up to our family member's first hearing having not reviewed the entire case information, having not taking the time to have a conversation with her to get to know her and what he was representing, and filing for a form of relief that he knew (or should of known "being a judge") that she did not qualify for. He waisted precious time and never truly fought for us. Initially, all legal advice was communicated to us through his paralegal, Rose Flores, who never shied away from being unprofessional, unkind, rude, and heartless. We were desperate. Prior to meeting with these people, we had read reviews on them regarding racial controversies and unprofessionalism and we were so vulnerable that we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt - all because Rose said what we wanted to hear, not knowing we were really signing for what would come next - disheartening emotional and mental stress coming from unprofessionalism, being spoken to like we were uneducated, meaningless human beings, being unable to get questions truly and genuinely answered with patience, and being ultimately betrayed. We only thought we knew what the true meaning of an emotional roller coaster was until we dealt with these people, then we really knew. Rose played out every scenario and nothing she said was. She spoke as she knew the ins and outs. The truth is - they never had the knowledge enough to deal with our case. Our family member's case was a very tough one - that we knew. But had they just had the professionalism, the humanity, and the kind hearts to say "this is beyond our expertise", we would have respected them and had searched elsewhere. Many other attorneys told me it was a case they knew they could not deal with. Rose said - "we do this everyday". And then they went into the hearing clueless, unprepared, and applying for a relief she never was going to qualify for - so did they truly do it every day?...I would never wish bad upon these people despite all the hurt they caused our family and all they ripped away from us financially, mentally and emotionally, but I hope that they learn from their mistakes and strive to become better human beings....God wasn't going to let what they put us through be the end of our story - our attorney to follow stepped right in, being God sent. She was extremely knowledgeable, caring, passionate, genuine with a true fighting spirit. Mr Vickers ended his last conversation with my family member in saying there was nothing he could do for her, she would have to hope that she was granted a voluntary departure and when she asked him if "this meant she could never return to her children again", he responded with "If Joe Biden wins...". They had our case for 6 weeks and accomplished nothing but heartaches. Our attorney now had the case 6 weeks and fought and won in 2 different county courts for us, a criminal and an immigration case. Today - we have our family member home and in an even better legal position than she ever was. All this to say - Vickers and Rose destroyed our trust in attorneys, but God sent the right person to fight for us, to win, and to restore our hope and trust. If you do hire these people and they destroy you (I hope it's not the case), don't give up!! Someone out there can and will fight for you!!

I recently had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with Bergquist Law Firm.
