Charlie did a great job trying to defend my case. Although the DUI did not get dropped, he did get my careless driving dropped. DA was not budging on jail time. Danny stepped in at my last courtdate, and was able to get me IHD. On that, I was thankful. I feel I did get my $'s worth from this team. They really do try to get the best deal possible. I would say I would use them again. However I will not need their services in the future. As I will NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. Colorado has become tougher through the years for DUI. The cost alone with everything involved is not worth admitting to having a few drinks and refusing Breathalyzer or Blood tests! If you are ever in this situation, call these guys. They are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. It is worth having this team of lawyers by your side through this process.

Meggin Rutherford and her paralegal, Sarah Duff, are compassionate professionals who supported me through one of the most difficult times of my life. They successfully represented me in my divorce from an abusive narcissist who thought he was a lawyer despite being kicked out of law school and losing all of his frivolous lawsuits against perceived enemies. Needless to say, he was a nightmare to work with, but Meggin and Sarah did not put up with any of his nonsense. My experience with Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor has been beyond great. They dug into the issues of my case and discovered things in my favor that go far beyond what other defendants in the same case appear to have missed or not seriously considered. My opinions of Jim Helfrich and Kate Sender go beyond my ability to express. The best I can say is that I trust them to do their absolute best, which I believe they have done. No bullshit.
They haven’t always told me what I want to hear, but they have always considered my opinion and that has been reflected in the things they have produced on my behalf. My case is not over, but they believe in me and have taken my side with the best they have to offer. Their rates are fair, and I have never had the feeling they were fabricating hours as so many law firms do, especially the law firm that is attacking me. I suspect I will have more to add to this review in the future.

Originally I started with a lawyer where when we showed up to the first court appearance the Judge shut us out didn’t let that attorney speak, and didn’t want to hear anything she had to say! I’m so glad she chose to transfer the case to Jessica Lasky. This amazing attorney came in like super woman throwing blows to the entire court system. Fortunately she is well experienced with the DA and knows a lot of things that normal attorneys aren’t familiar with. Everything started in early August and by Late November I had my life and freedom back forever. I am so grateful to have had Christina on my team representing me in my divorce case. She always responded to my questions promptly, called me to keep me informed of how the case was progressing, and really listened to my concerns. Even though my case wasn't overly complicated, Christina still treated everything with importance and had great tactics to protect my income, she explained every process to make sure I understood what was going on and provided solid advice when I wanted to purchase a house during the divorce process. I worked with Mark Savoy and Diane Barrera Joseph Santaularia was my primary attorney or my main attorney for six months he helped me. I went through a situation that I’ve never been through and I should not have been in long story short I had three charges and was unaware. I found out through getting hired at this job when they did a background check they chose not to hire me and that’s when I became aware of my situation! So I had to prepare to turn myself in, which is something I’ve never done I didn’t do it right away I gathered information and did it about a month later I Went through that whole process ended up having to turn in my firearm. We fought hard on this for six months three charges dropped case dismissed as of 4 months ago last August 30th it was finalized. They helped me go through a process to where I was able to get the entire case sealed with the Help of Mark & Diane and now my case it now no longer appears on my record or anywhere, and they were able to help me get my firearm back. Colorado Legal Defense was always there with advice and if someone couldn’t make it, their whole team would make sure somebody was there to represent you in court. I would highly recommend Colorado Legal Defense group. If you are unsure about your situation or if you don’t think you already know the outcome these guys will give you some insight.

Mitch Geller defended me in an agreement dispute with a real estate company in the early 90's. He was so much better than the other attorney it was embarrassing. He won the case for me, and always advised me to keep the case in perspective. The second case he won for me was a complaint that was filed by my HOA. He was, once again, amazing in court. To watch him perform on my behalf was seriously an honor. He didn't bother me with minutiae, as I am a "micro manager". He told me to trust him, and leave the details to him. He brought up issues that I would never have thought of. He was brilliant. We won the case, hands down. No contest.
I work with attorneys in my business, for my personal requirements (wills, etc) for my clients, but Mitch is who I chose to defend me the two times I had to go to court as a defendant. I would recommend him wholeheartedly. Thank you for allowing me to offer my opinion.

Mark was referred to us for my husband divorce case and custody case, by Colin, our criminal defense attorney. This divorce and custody case was difficult for my husband to go through, and because a false allegations criminal charge, it made this case more complex.
Mark did his absolute best, we believe, every step of the way. The ex wife made things an absolute nightmare for my husband, and watching him go through this was heart breaking. My husband and I didn’t make things easy for mark either as we were both addicted to heroin and meth at the time. Mark fought for my husband every step of the way until the absolute end, which involved not only the divorce and child custody part of this case, but several protection orders that were filed in different Colorado county’s by his ex wife. Mark made sure to squash those protection orders one by one, and did so with so much passion and care and knowledge and patience. Everyone involved had to have been at their wits end with everything going on. Thankfully, and luckily, during one of the protection order hearings, I believe that’s when, the ex wife said something’s on the stand that we couldn’t believe, and we were just shocked. Mark made note of these things, and was always in constant contact with our criminal Defense attorney Colin. We never had the chance to confirm our thoughts, but my husband and I fully believe that Mark played a substantial role in the criminal defense case being dismissed as requested by the prosecution!
Unfortunately, as we were both addicted at the time this all was happening, the child custody case wasn’t a happy ending, mark would have stayed on with us but due to so many circumstances, one being a second arrest for drugs during the custody case, mark was unable to represent my husband any longer. We regret not getting sober sooner, because my husband would have had custody of his son. That is our fault, our choices.
Mark stayed dedicated to the end, and I would recommend him to anyone that needs his services! He knows what he is doing, he stays in constant contact, and never brushed us off or made us feel like we were terrible people for what was going on. He cares about you like you’re his own family.
From the very first week we spoke to him he gave my husband the best legal advice, and it made things go much better than if we had not spoken to him. My husband would have been forced out of his own house due to a protection order if we wouldn’t have spoken to mark and he hadn’t given us the advice that we desperately needed.
I truly wish things had ended differently, and if Mark was in Colorado Springs right now, and he would allow for it lol, I would 100% be hiring him for custody issues that have risen over the past 4 years to do with my two kids, as well as my husbands ex wife contacting my kids dads.
Hire mark! You will not regret it, he will fight for you, he will do his absolute best no matter the complexity of the case! We will forever be grateful for Mr. Chapleau and the mark he left on our lives. Our only regret is that we cannot say we are 5 years sober, this was a 2019 case, but by the grace of God we are 4 years.

Having no experience in this field at all, I was pretty terrified when I was shown to be at fault for a car accident. The entire team was excellent gave me a lot of information helped me to remain calm, and on the day of Katy in particular went way above and beyond the call of duty to help facilitate me reaching the courthouse on time.
