I hired Dick to take over a very complicated case nearly 20 years ago. My hearing date was actually on September 11, 2001 And was rescheduled when the court closed after the planes hit the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
I had a very complex & emotional case. I was young & naive & married a man I thought I knew but didn’t. He was a fantastic liar & could charm anyone by telling them exactly what they wanted to hear. He was able to convince his lawyer & mine that I was the one lying when it was him.
I had been severely injured in a car accident not long after I met him. I got a substantial settlement for my injuries & the future medical expenses, the life ahead of me of severe chronic pain and inability to earn the income I would have without the pain.
The man I married changed into someone else the moment we returned from our honeymoon.
I was foolish & naive & put all of that money in a joint account (legally making it equally his even though the accident & settlement both occurred before we got married.). My ex spent it all.
I trusted and believed he worked very long hours and traveled as needed with his job. I was focused on a series of major medical procedures like reconstruction of my jaw and face (5 surgeries and still need a titanium total joint replacement for my jaw). Having to leave my job & find another one before my short term disability ran out while getting my surgeries. I decided to finish my MBA in one semester before going back to work so was very distracted with the pain, procedures, moving and getting my MBA.
When that money was gone he turned to credit cards I was unaware of & ran up $50k in debt that I was legally half responsible for. ( Full of charges to places I had never been & things from Victoria’s Secret that I never saw.)
I was not around much & when I was I was either doing homework or resting from the constant chronic pain & series of surgeries and recovery.
He went from the perfect charming man for me telling me everything I wanted to hear & believe about him to a completely different man the day we got home from our honeymoon.
He became increasingly violent and dangerous until the day I left.
The day I left he started loading a 9mm gun while screaming at me that he would NEVER let me leave! He demanded instructions to get the money from my life insurance policy from my employer. He had a perfect plan to put my body in a wood chipper after I was dead to destroy my body & all evidence. We were needing to landscape at the new house & it was perfect to just mix my body in with the mulch. He would tell everyone I abandoned him & left everything with him.
I managed to get the loaded gun from him & ran out the door with my purse, keys, gun, the clothes on my back and — MY LIFE!
I hired a “low cost” attorney who drug things out ran up the retainer & told me I had to return the gun to my ex for HIS 2nd amendment rights.
He also got me a restraining order with my location on it! I had to move again & hire a new attorney!
I had already spent $10,000 to get nowhere.
I found Dick & he fixed everything! In court Dick & his associate had a full day of questioning my ex until he lost track of his lies. He couldn’t fight with a real man when he was used to picking on women. My ex even insulted the judge!
Dick came into a mess of a case with deadlines that had passed & I was an emotional, terrified wreck.
Dick was able to make me feel safe & return me to as close to financially & emotionally whole again as possible.
He was THE BEST Lawyer in 2001, & I can’t begin to imagine how good he is now. He saved my life literally & financially so I could get a new start.
He is worth EVERY penny!
Dick is extremely knowledgeable of the laws, he is great with negotiating in virtually impossible situations. He is tough as nails, but also sensitive to what his client is going through & gets results.

I recently went through a divorce and Mr. Rotole was recommended to me but a co-worker. Mr. Rotole was extremely knowledgeable and was not afraid to take on my strange situation as I was a resident of Colorado and my ex husband lived out of state (I am active duty military and my ex-husband was former military). Mr. Rotole and his staff were constantly keeping me informed on communications they had with my now ex-husband. Even though my ex-husband choose not to participate in the divorce Mr. Rotole and his staff made sure he was always aware of what was going on and important court dates. My ex-husband made Mr. Rotole and his staffs job difficult at times, he would claim to not have gotten documents that were sent 3 different ways, he would call yelling at the staff. Mr. Rotole and his staff were never anything but professional and accommodating. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Mr. Rotole and his staff. I retained Zach as my attorney as I was in a custody battle after my divorce. I had been going it alone for about six months and although I felt I had a good case, there is always the "what if" Many factors regarding my case brought me to Zach. I had relocated to another state, had a new job, paperwork to locate and file, many things had to be addressed and considered. It was overwhelming.
From the moment I made the decision to get help, I knew that Zach was the attorney to represent me. The initial conversations we had by phone were comfortable and productive. The fact that I was 1400 miles away and that I was placing my children's future and well being in someone's hands was scary at first but Zach, I felt, was the one that could get it done for me.
The biggest concern I had was that I had given him less than 3 months to prepare. In that short amount of time he compiled all the documents, filed all the paperwork, conducted the interviews with the witnesses. He did that and so much more. When we entered the courtroom I was confident and WE were prepared. In court Zach was direct, to the point and was able to "paint the picture" for the Magistrate. He asked the right questions of every witness called to the stand and when the proceeding was complete there was no "what if" left in my mind.
When the court made their decision and I received the call from Zach that we had won, I knew I had made the right call. I cannot express enough my gratitude, nor the respect I have for Zach. I put my trust in him and he delivered. I could not be more pleased.

Suzanne helped me with my divorce last year. She is professional, sharp, and extremely effective. I was able to keep my retirement accounts because she pointed out that my ex and I had always kept our accounts separate from day 1 of the marriage, and that I should be able to retain my own accounts. The judge accepted this and signed off on it, and I feel safe and financially secure as a result.
As contentious as divorce can be, she helped keep everything fair and civil. She is a wonderful person who wants to help.

It is a pleasure to compliment the legal work that Susanne Ewy has done for me.
At 92 years of age my ability to deal with Boulder (Colorado) County authorities is quite limited. When I received notice this year that my home valuation had just risen by 50% I was shocked. This meant my home real estate taxes would also rise by this same 50% amount!
Boulder (Colorado) County displayed “comparable” nearby home properties that had recently sold as justification despite the significant differences in comparisons. I engaged Suzanne Ewy to help me deal with Boulder County over this gross exaggeration.
She developed a plan, gathered materials, both statistical and visual, and, within the County-stated strict limitations, delivered my request for re-evaluation. She prepared, I think, about forty-five pages of information for the County.
The County Assessor rejected her request for re-evaluation completely, requiring her to file an appeal and appear before the Board of Equalization. She prepared me for that virtual hearing, making sure that I could hear and understand the proceedings.
Long story shortened, the BOE granted me the totality of my evaluation amount – the entire reduction of 50%. Virtually unheard of in this county. This will result in a reasonable tax amount that will have an immediate and a long-term effect on this aging citizen who has paid Boulder real estate taxes since about 1970.
My many thanks and admiration for her reasoned and effective work is unbounded.

Was on time, straight forward and to the point. He was really specific and very helpful, and I could clearly understand everything. I would highly recommend Larry and Benson & Case to anyone! First, the staff is great! They are always friendly, caring and anxious to help me in anyway. Larry really made a hard, challenging time in my life just a little bit easier. He took the time to explain the whole process of my divorce, and answered any of my questions that came up along the way. Larry really cares about my situation and worked hard for me to get the results I was comfortable with and did it in record time (considering my situation). He was always ready to discuss my case with me, no matter what when I called, and if by some anomaly I missed his call or he missed mine, he made sure to get a hold of me within hours. Heather is very excellent in what she does! In my previous case she got me alimony, child support and the parenting plan that I had purposed. She is very organized and just knows exactly what to say and do at the right times. There were a lot of things that I would have never thought of looking into like my ex-husbands income and she was on top of it and she ended up finding out that he was not disclosing all of his income. She made sure that I submitted everything timely and was great at communicating with me at all times. She ensured that in regards to a house that he was living in that he was ordered to refinance in his own name or short sale it and the vehicle he had that he was to refinance in his own name. I was also awarded half of his 401k, stocks and retirement that he had. Heather is an excellent lawyer and I would recommend her to anyone going through this.

I thought I wasn't able to ever get my license after an accident in 2006, I owed the insurance company of the other driver over 30 thousand dollars. After going through another lawyer and a lower debt with interest I still could not manage, after a year I gave up and stop all payments in 2009. In 2015 I got pulled over with no license among other issues, I knew I had to face the court and I knew I had to get a license for all the charges to be dropped. In order for me to get a license I had to settle with the insurance company and pay them so my outstanding judgment warrant would clear thus giving me the opportunity to get my license. In order for me to do that I needed a lawyer due to the fact that the insurance company I owed had enough with me and were not willing to cooperate.
I found Mr. Cuddihee online and I thought I would give him a shot and set up a consultation, I must say it was an absolute pleasure meeting him and doing business with him, I most definitely recommend him. He was able to get me a lump sum of just 4 thousand dollars with no interest, he was always very informative making sure I knew every step he was going to make. It's very difficult to find a person of law that can manage all that you ask for and more. I can't describe the joy I feel being able to finally drive legally after all these years. Frances Cuddihee was assigned to my case through a firm I have retained for ongoing problems resulting from a horrible post divorce situation. I have been very impressed with him so far (we are still working together). He is knowledgeable and calm and highly intelligent.
I also find Frances to be easy to talk to (very important), patient and compassionate. He makes you feel like he cares and I believe he does; in fact that mindset seems to be pervasive within the firm. I must have consulted with at least 8 attorneys, most of whom were curt, matter of fact, discourteous and some even downright mean. Mitch Geller defended me in an agreement dispute with a real estate company in the early 90's. He was so much better than the other attorney it was embarrassing. He won the case for me, and always advised me to keep the case in perspective. The second case he won for me was a complaint that was filed by my HOA. He was, once again, amazing in court. To watch him perform on my behalf was seriously an honor. He didn't bother me with minutiae, as I am a "micro manager". He told me to trust him, and leave the details to him. He brought up issues that I would never have thought of. He was brilliant. We won the case, hands down. No contest.
