Ms. Roszko was the superlative choice when it came to choosing a lawyer to argue against the judgement I was facing.
I was staring down a default judgement that was granted based on the fact that I was "served" notice to defend myself in court even though I never received the notice. Subsequently, my bank account was frozen as a default judgement was granted. I needed to do something. This is when I decided to speak with Emma Roszko.
We both knew the service was invalid and although I had broken the lease in question I would have answered a legal notice if it was served properly. Through some nifty legal wrangling Ms. Roszko was able to argue that the service was invalid and show the statue of limitations for the broken lease was up putting an end to any further lawsuits. I contribute Ms. Roszko's hard-work, dedication, and professionalism to bringing this case to a happy ending.
Ms. Roszko managed my expectations the entire length of the case and I was thrilled with her work. She was able to utilize her expertise to give me the judgement I hoped for. I completely recommend her for any legal work you may need.

When I contacted Attorney Vanessa Prieto, I was in a funky head space dealing with marital issues. So, I was in dire need for an attorney to help facilitate the divorce process with my ex-wife. I knew I needed not just a regular divorce attorney but one who had a business law background to protect my business interests in the divorce as well. Attorney Vanessa Prieto has that expertise.
When the process finally started, I was anxious but Attorney Prieto eased my concerns. Throughout the divorce process, Attorney Vanessa Prieto provided exceptional representation (and I do not say this lightly) as this was apparent at the divorce mediation stage. Her skills truly stood out, especially in contrast to my ex-wife’s attorney.
Initially, I didn’t expect to achieve much from mediation, but I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Even the small gains felt significant. What really impressed me was the draft of the marital settlement agreement. It transformed from a basic template provided by my ex-wife’s attorney into a well-crafted document that captured a fair and balanced resolution.

If you have an amicable divorce go to a mediator or give a small retainer fee. This office has a NON-refundable refund for retainers. My case was during the holidays and after we signed everything the office went silent. I had to email to check status and then they would move the case. I wasn't even informed on when my divorce was finalized, I found it on public records. Although I am knowledgeable and know it was my mistake for not reading the terms, I hope this helps someone to ask about refundable retainer fees. My divorce billable hours were about 2,500. My retainer fee was 5,500 so the office made an easy $2,900.00. Hope this review helps someone in the future!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this law office. Over the course of 8 months, there was no clear strategy or meaningful advice provided by the attorney. It felt like my case was being dragged on unnecessarily, with no real effort to reach a settlement or move things forward. Instead of receiving proactive legal guidance, the case seemed to be left to 'go with the flow,' which left me feeling misrepresented and frustrated.
