Jacob Silver is an outstanding attorney! My partner was dealing with bad debt and went through a hard time with not being able to make ends meet. I found Mr. Silver on google and saw the amazing reviews and had my partner make an appointment ASAP. Within 2 months Mr. Silver did everything with paperwork, meetings, etc. for the bankruptcy as he felt necessary and let me add that he is always responsive and available for questions when his clients need him because my partner would email at some random times and always received a response! Mike is an untrustworthy individual and makes false promises to attract business. He charged $15k, for a basic one-page document that his wife filled out during a phone call and filed with the court. He failed to provide monthly invoices per his retainer agreement. He ignored my request when asked for a copy of the petition he claimed he worked on and never filed with the court. His wife, Kris, who handles all his legal work and provides legal advice despite not being an attorney, made excuses for his absence and failed to relay messages. Mike could not justify billing at his rate ($500) there is no rate listed for his wife. When questioned and asked for a refund of the remainder of my retainer, he aggressively refused, claiming there was nothing left. His Wife filled out the one-page document and she filed it with the court, we never went to the courthouse for anything or filed anything else and yet he states nothing is left of my $15k retainer. I plan to take legal action against him. Do not hire Mike!!

I found Ms. Richards to be highly unprofessional, highly unethical and highly prejudicial in the execution of my parent's estate.
In my opinion, resorting to threats and bullying in an attempt to intimidate a particular beneficiary is beneath the conduct you would otherwise expect from a member of the Bar Association.
To be clear, I was not "unhappy with my parent's estate", I was shocked by Ms. Richard's behavior.
Her handling of the estate relative to administration and advice given was deplorable, and in no way represented what my parents would have wanted. If you're in the market for an estate attorney that you can trust to do the right thing upon your passing, I recommend that you look elsewhere.
I would not have even given Ms. Richards a "1 star" review, but Google doesn't accept anything less.

Ok- consider this a ‘word of mouth’ recommendation: I received Ms. Aiello’s Name from another top-level attorney (who does not do family/divorce law)
- I stopped mediation immediately as she saved me thousands of dollars for knowing what’s realistic and respectful to the other “aide”
- she uses calm knowledge to counsel instead of emotional demands
- she was outstanding in negotiating the final agreement
- she knows the processes and systems well and doesn’t cut corners or some such silly things
- she is highly (!) respected by the judges from what I saw and heard about her
- remember when you engage and hire an attorney it’s a two way street: if you or the other side is not reasonable and reapectful - How can you expect a favorable outcome? Sounds like common sense but I have seen people trying to do a ‘“show of force -let alone ‘retribution’ “ - and everyone loses then.
- Ms. Aiello is super transparent, knowledgeable and her team is equally professional - never heard any excuses - like other offices I have witnessed.
Hope this helps a bit.

After a simple consultation (where I waited over an hour to be graced with her time) I was left with a non sypathetic we will get back to you. In a town full of directness I am surprised to have encountered such flakiness. Not impressed- and disappointed in the extreme lack of follow up or at least human caring or empathy- for someone who brags about their background in psychology I believe they are missing a compassion and understanding in their interaction with others. Can only hope others are treated better than I was.

Where to even start... ive been taken advantage by other lawyers who took my profession as a pay day, past two lawyers did nothing but take money. 1yr of family court and they didnt file any paperwork they were hired for, i contactes Mr.edwards firm explained my situation best way i can.. Mr.Edwards understood my position, said and i qoute "we're getting your son back" this statement was made exactly 48days ago..since then Mr.edwards has eliminated Supervised visits leaned against me. Where i was subject to see my son 2hrs on Thursday and 2hrs on friday. Total travel time was 7hr to 8hrs. For those 2 days. I did that for almost a yr.
Mr.edwards understood the importance of my case and how much my son means to me.. how my son has been in foster house for almost a yr.. as i qouted Mr.edwards... he eliminated the supervised visits in his 1st court date, i get to spend the entire weekend and every weekend with my son, i even have the rights to drop my son to school... im so thankful for Mr.edwards expertise, Legit the Best Lawyer..
My case isnt over yet. But i know Full victory is in sight by may/june i will have full custody.
All the praying landed us to Mr.edwards.
Im legit happy. My son counts the days. Hrs when we can see each other.. soon that will be exact what what my son and i want.
