I would never recommend either Francesca or Carlye, as my experience with them was that of ineffectiveness, procrastination and extreme inefficiency resulting in high bills and no accomplishments on my behalf, accompanied by poor attitude. I contacted Francesca in late Sep 2023 to help me and my son gain control of my son’s college fund and get my ex to pay child support. Francesca was optimistic, stated that they will get to work on it “right away”, and suggested that she bring on Carlye as it would be “more efficient”. What I was not told is that I will be billed thousands of dollars for Francesca and Carlye talking to each other (conferences they called it, and that is very lucrative for the two of them, but definitely not efficient). I was also not told that it meant that Francesca will dump my case on an inexperienced junior attorney –something I would have never agreed to. Not knowing any better I took her advice. By the end of November, still with no court date or even a motion in sight, my ex hired a lawyer, who, according to Francesca, was going to give us a counter-offer. Francesca suggested we wait to see it, before going to court. I waited for somebody to reach out to me until mid-January, for nearly 2 months, when my ex sent my son’s tuition payment to himself instead of to college. When I texted her, Francesca finally called my ex’s lawyer and discovered that he fired her. I am not sure when Francesca or Carlye were planning to follow-up on the situation if I didn’t text them. At that point, Francesca reassured me that we will be doing to court “very soon” (previously suggesting that in such a situation we can have an emergency court hearing within days). However, neither she nor Carlye pursued an emergency hearing, and did nothing to remediate the situation, leaving myself and my son to fight my ex for the tuition money, but I was billed thousands of dollars for communicating with them about the situation. It took until March to get a motion produced, with the court date eventually scheduled for mid-April. At that point my ex lawyered up again, asking to postpone the court date so they can file counter-motion. While it only took his lawyer a total of only 11 days from when he was hired until he completed the motion and submitted it to court, my lawyers missed court communications, and with all the other delays on part of Francesca and Carlye we did not get to court until early June, more than 8 months from when I hired them, and at the cost of 4-5 times what my ex paid his lawyer to get to that point. Once we got to court, Carlye proved to be just as ineffective and inefficient in convincing the judge of anything of benefit to me. The summer was spent by her in an unbroken streak of failures to get any results on my behalf or to move the process toward resolution through multiple court appearances, while billing me thousands of dollars. I was left to fight with my ex by myself outside of court to try to get to any kind of an agreement about the college fund and child support, while continuing to pay legal fees for "representation" but no results. My ex and I finally came to an agreement, outside of court, with no input from my lawyers. The agreement was written up by my ex’s attorney, who was much more responsive and efficient through that process. I really should have fired Francesca and Carlye at that point and finalized it myself, but I thought that I may as well benefit from having access to legal representation. Another mistake. They dragged it out for another 2 months, with the final agreement being identical to the original + changes by my ex that he sent over the day after his lawyer circulated the agreement, but I was charged additional ~ 4500 for their “work”. They did nothing but dragged the process out for over a year, left me to fight with my ex by myself and “efficiently” billed me tens of thousands of dollars. When I brought my concerns to Francesca, she accused me of trying to shake her down and get out of paying my bills. So – definitely don’t recommend.

This firm sucks. $15,000 retainer down the drain! If I could give it 0 stars I would but I had no choice but to choose a star. I was sued for something my attorney told me was petty and he got my case dismissed then I was hit with another lawsuit 8 months later from the same person and he lost my case! I’m so mad! Now I have to pay the person who sued me hundreds of thousands of dollars that I don’t have! Bruce told me this case was “petty” and that I would win! Typical lawyer that will tell you anything you want to hear just to get your money!!!!STAY FAR AWAY!!!!! Go with a different law firm that knows what they are doing!!!!

My attorney, Bruce Rosen, had the plaintiff’s counsel withdraw the complaint in less than 3 weeks. He was very easy to get in touch with, responded professionally, with that added care that can be very hard to find! You can tell he is highly versed, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my case.

Right form the first day I spoke with company rep, Marjorie a very pleasant lady, took time to listen to my case and did a very super follow up in timely manner, also the case evaluation by Alan was superb, He went all the way to give me an alternative route even when am not able to pay for the legal fees,
The company refunded my initial deposit which many company will not do, and still went ahead to help.

Hired for a simple 20 minute virtual court session, spoke one word exactly, left her computer three times to work on other cases causing the judge to roll his eyes and waste tons waiting for her return.
Most important! After three months delaying the requested fee itinerary for the $1000.00 retainer, she illegally added multiple unperformed fees totaling $1010.00. She did this deliberately to prevent upholding her own client rule stated on her site that any unused retainer payments will be refunded. During a personal live phone conversation with Toni Russo, I needed to prove more than once her negligence in fiduciary role I paid her for, proving she worked no more than exactly 12 minutes. She refunded me $500.00 and has been sending non stop bills accumulating interest based on the $10.00 she conjured up illegally. Currently i am working with the NJ Office of Attorney Ethics and US Bar Assiciation.
Do NOT communicate with Toni Anne Russo on any matter!!

Unfortunately I was too deep into the process to switch attorneys. I physically handled and negotiated my case. Made copies, provided responses to other attorneys because Russo did not reply timely. The responses that were provided by the firm had another clients information. At one point I was emailed another clients entire divorce settlement. I was also mailed a copy of the same parties personal information. She drags everything out as long as possible to keep collecting, review your bills carefully as I found over $1K in discrepancies for meetings or phone calls which never took place. I was billed for services performed by the paralegal (Amanda) where they tried to attach the attorneys hourly rate. Overall terrible experience, other attorneys do not respect her which was evident.

Micheal has been my attorney through a horrible shameful divorce and custody battle since 2012.
After 5 long years, Micheal is still fighting the battles and the road blocks that my ex-wife keeps throwing our way.
The father always seems to be considered "second class" with the court system which makes it hard to always get to the truth. Micheal will always make sure that your child's voice is heard to help fulfill your child's needs.
We had 4 parent coordinators, 2 guardian alignments, therapists, and social services in place which has been extremely expensive and heartbreaking across the board. Micheal has waived my fees sometimes during all of these services because the expenses were out of control and I was unable to keep up.
He always puts my sons needs and best interest first as he continues to support and help me fight this horrible battle. Micheal Spinato has gone beyond the call of duty during the last 5 years and I stand behind him 110% to stand up for my rights as a dad. Really bad experience!! Nicole was appointed for my case.Not able to make ANY progress in my case. Dragged call after call for 6 months without 1 single written order. Billing went to 5X times the retainer which was already so high. There were times they didnt respond for 3-5 days. Just kept the billing going on time. Finally had to fire them for case and it got resolved within 30 days without any issues. Sorry to say but would strongly recommend to avoid using them.

I was purchasing a home and solicited Sue's services. Problems surfaced when I saw typos and formatting errors in the legal document she put together for me. In one case, she copied in email the wrong person altogether, disclosing my private information and documents to a third party who had nothing to do with the deal. If you think spelling errors, unprofessional formatting, and emailing the wrong people was not bad enough, she had absolutely no attention to detail when it came to time sensitive follow-ups and detail inquiry (title review, closing dates, tax information, etc.) so I had to personally sync with all parties and get to the information myself, it was all around frustrating to deal with this attorney and I would never put someone through the hassles I went through. Sue is essentially retired and does legal services for fun - you would think her experience would be a valuable asset, but she's not vested in the outcome of her engagements. In my case, she has only caused headaches.

A professional, and got me everything I wanted in my divorce… he has never stop fighting for me, because he has seen enough men and women in divorce cases to know who’s telling the truth… in my case, he knows my ex is shady and a liar.. Lied and made promises that quickly changed once he got paid in cash ! Never saw fee schedule , said he had good relationships with opposing counsel and judge .
They both treated him with no respect , his motion was so poorly written that Judge Monahon made a fool of him and would not even consider listening to Hirsh . On walk to court house Ian Hirsh was shaking scared my girlfriend had to give this bloat a pep talk . He is also a Cheat who abandoned his family for Asian masseuse half his age . Run

Used Mr. Abut for divorce mediation. The entire first session -- my lawyers, my ex's lawyers all present and on the clock -- was a friendly get-to-know-you session (3 hours!) that included over an hour of his "spiel" which was largely off-topic, and two hours of discussion about our feelings. None of which got us an iota closer to agreement. The second session was even longer, and didn't get to anything relevant until the very end. Just yakking and yakking and yakking. After that I dropped him.
He's witty and smart but I'd encourage you to keep him on task and put time limits on any discussion not directly having to do with the issue at hand, nothing tangential.
