Suzana did an amazing job dealing with my overbearing ex-husband who is an executive at a major lumber company and is accustomed to being in charge. He and his lawyer put non stop pressure on me to settle the case without a trial. Suzana encourgaed me to keep fighting for the support I was entitled to and after a full day in court we walked with nearly double what they offered and what my ex assured me numerous times was "much more than I would get in court." Throughout the process she was confident and encouraging and just all around wonderful. Thank you Suzana.

I highly recommend Pamela Parkins. I came to her with what we thought was a simple divorce. It probably ended up being one of the most challenging one that took years to resolve. The other party was uncooperative and difficult to deal with at times. This was a very complex since the other party was located in Alaska. Pam handled it professionally and gave me confidence we will get thru this together. She's compassionate but tough when needs be. She always got back to me immediately by phone, email, text and always explained clearly what my options were. I am very glad I chose her to handle my divorce. She stayed by me the whole time. Even researching and using resources with matters she was not familiar with like military.

Lisa was excellent. She was very upfront and honest from day one. My cases were constantly getting turned around and we were thrown some heavy information and issues along the way but Lisa handled everything that came our way. I came in for a consultation and Sam listened to me and gave it to me straight. This is exactly what I needed. To understand what I wanted to accomplish and how I may need to compromise. He gave me alternative situations and advised me that I may not get exactly what I was looking for because of my situation. But he also explained that what I was looking could be accomplished down the road if it didn’t work now. The consultation was so informative he even told me I might not even need him and I could do it myself. I knew this going into it. (And was relieved to know he wasn’t just trying to get my money. As I’ve heard other previous horror stories from friends and family when it comes to other Lawyers.) However my other Co-Parent had already hired a lawyer, I wanted the peace of mind Sam brought to the table. Also his firms reputation was nice. And it shined through in his professionalism and timely communication. In the end it went exactly how Sam and I discussed it would happen. In six months I will be 50/50 Co Parent. Thank you Sam!!! And my Son thanks you as well!!!!

I went through a high-conflict divorce that involved false accusations and threats around taking away custody. It was a stressful process, but Sam guided me through it, kept things in perspective, always had a game plan, and somehow managed to add in some humor through it all to lighten the mood. Sam is great. I would not recommend another family law attorney to anyone. My case was quite extensive and very high conflict. Sam got me a result that I would have never expected. He conducted himself professionally with me and with counsel on the other side and it is easy to see that Sam is highly respected amongst his peers. He was extremely empathetic with my situation and was able to guide me through each issue that arose calmly and professionally. He gave me straight forward advice and never promised me anything that he couldn't deliver. He told me all the risks involved with each path we could take and enabled me to make informed decisions. Sam was able to walk me and talk me through some of the lowest points of my entire life. I initially consulted with Frank but had another Lawyer on retainer. As my case was underway and not going well, i soon realized i had chosen the wrong Attorney. In going through an unwanted divorce as Defendant, and soon to be ex-wife making fantastic claims, I was very fortunate to have Jill Bolton represent my issues in the divorce. Jill stated her expectations for the outcome of my divorce at our very first meeting. I honestly didn't think what Jill expected was possible.
Not only was it possible, it is exactly what happened.
In reading other testimonials about Bolton Law, you will notice that everyone calls her Jill. Not Ms. Bolton, or generically Bolton Law, but Jill. That is because you develop a personal relationship with her, even in this professional circumstance. Jill is open, warm, friendly, present, and above all else, extremely gifted in Law and the legal application of our rights under those laws. Jill is tenacious, informed, and pro-active on our behalf. The MyCase portal that she and my assistant Alexis in her office use, is up to the moment with developments and information for quick, easy, and confidential communications between us. Alexis is also extremely good at what she does and reflected Jill's ethos and approach to my divorce case.
Jill's fee schedule is worth every penny and then some. You pay as you go, and get billed monthly, which is convenient, and to my surprise, was a lot less than I expected. Most people like me say "I can't afford an attorney". Trust me, you can't afford to NOT have Jill as your attorney.
As a side note: At one point during the divorce, my ex told me that I had the best attorney in the Inland Empire, and "How did I get her?" My ex could only have come to that conclusion from her own attorney group. To the best of my knowledge, our divorce has been her only interaction or point of reference for legal services for the course of her life. I have secured the services of my ex's legal group in the past, and considered them to be very good, and am happy to report that for our divorce, my ex retained them first.
The point being, Jill and her staff are respected at a level of competence and tenacity by her peers that I find comforting.
My divorce was emotionally devastating at the very least, and Jill understands that. By her very nature, she was empathetic to my distress and sorrow. I never felt like I was "just another client" or source of revenue. She cares and it shows.
In closing, I can't thank Jill, Alexis, and Bolton Law, enough for their handling of my case. I will refer anyone that I come in contact with who needs legal representation to Jills' office.
I will also use Jill in any capacity that she practices in, for any future needs I may have.

Over the past 12 years, I have modified my childrens’ custody on multiple occasions. In 2018, I switched to attorney Jill Bolton as I honestly needed a more thorough and aggressive engagement in my case than other family law lawyers in Coeur d’Alene could provide. The change both in the law office and the courtroom was noticeable. The MyCase client platform kept me informed of my case progressions in real time. It was amazing to see how quick and knowledgeable Bolton argued my case in front of the judge. It is obvious that she has the respect from opposing attorneys and the judges alike.
With an attorney step brother and a CDA native myself, I have some understanding of which lawyers to recommend. For anyone looking for a family law lawyer, I cannot recommend Bolton Law enough. I have done so for 3 close friends and plan to continue doing so in the future.

I never seen an attorney so talented with her words and just total bada** that at the end of my review hearing, I actually felt bad for the prosecutor. During the hearing, Prosecuting attorney reminded me of a 4th string rookie quarterback playing his first NFL game and gets destroyed in it~~ Jessica was throwing them objections after objections then blitz. I'm pretty sure that the prosecuting attorney cried himself to sleep that night... real talk. She is like a wonder woman. you wonder where that punch came from. (you know... since she is so tiny and reserved) I learned that she is quiet and reserves her energy and focus because she is about to "#micdrop" in the courtroom.

I would recommend Jessica if you are looking for a great disability or personal injury lawyer. She literally wrote the book on disability and will not stop pursuing a disability case until she is out of options or gets her clients benefits; usually the latter. I haven't used her in a disability case personally, but I know many people who have and won their benefits.

I have a close friend who was falsely accused of a horrible crime and he and his staff handled the entire case as a real pro and got her an extremely fast acquittal from the jury. Mike is a defense attorney "force to be reckoned with"! Not only is he extremely professional, qualified and experienced, he also has an AMAZING and UNMATCHED presence and demeanor in a trial setting. To quote my husband..."Watching him in the courtroom was mesmerizing....Mike was BORN to do this!" Worth every penny!
I have also used Mike myself for a small family law issue but it didn't include a trial or any hearings. I have had other family members use him as well. I highly recommend him!

I had gone through multiple lawyers in my custody dispute with my ex. No matter who the lawyer was, I always spent a fortune and never got more than every other weekend and extended 3 day weekends every other weekend in the summers. I even tried to do Court myself but the system chewed me up and spit me out. I had lost hope but a friend told me to call John. I figured this would be another lawyer upselling my chances or being so vague I wouldn't know realistically what I could expect. John wouldn't upsell me, but after taking a look at my documents and collecting information from me, he told me he couldn't understand how I had so little custody. He was 1/2 the price of my previous lawyer per hour. I figured I had done everything else, I may as well try with this guy. Fast forward to a year and four months (forever to get to trial) later and I have 50/50 custody of my daughters. My ex tried all of her usual tricks and tried to spend me out of my lawyer by filing every single ridiculous motion she could. John defended against every motion, got whole portions of her evidence tossed, you name it. I got divorced and needed my will redone. I asked my Bishop and he recommended John. I was married when I was in the Army and had a will done by JAG. It was a fairly standard thing for most of us and only a few pages. John wrote up a will, power of attorney, living will, and HIPAA compliance documents. Everything was perfect. He listened to exactly what I wanted and covered every single thing I was concerned about, especially if I were to die while my kids are still kids. The documents are super-thorough and contain protections for everything, even social media. The fee was reasonable to begin with and he gave me a veterans discount on top of that. “John helped me and my family when my mom needed a medical power of attorney. My mother is a bit of hothead and didn’t want to get the power done. When I brought in John, she said she didn’t trust us and especially attorneys because they’re all liars. John pulled out his phone, dialed a number and gave the phone to Mom telling her that if she thought he was lying to her that she could call the Idaho bar and report him and his bar number. He told her if she didn’t want the power, he would leave and that would be that. We were shocked! She spoke with him alone, and then she agreed she needed it. Abby represented be in a custody dispute after I finally fired an attorney halfway through my case that was not doing anything beyond collecting a paycheck.
