A short time ago I made the decision to retain an attorney to file for back child support post divorce. When looking for an attorney I wanted to hire someone who was well respected within the McHenry County court system, someone who was experienced and exuded confidence. I reached out to several friends who have worked within the court system and the person they recommended was Angelo Mourelatos. I found Angelo to be a great communicator, compassionate and pragmatic. I also found him to be assertive and not aggressive. His strategy is well thought out and he definitely knows when the time is right to put on a little pressure. Angelo has gone above and beyond to help me with my post decree divorce representation. Attorney Mbanza and his team were very helpful and the master at their craft. i was there at the firm because of the car accident case last April and was dealing with a lot of insurances for my claim, and all of them were declining to compensate us anything zero because i was using my car for ride-share, i was losing hope with the insurances but Attorney got me the check within 4 months for personal injuries claim settlement. And he is still working on property damages and other settlements for me. And he only charges me reasonable amount for all of the work he did, i am pretty sure other Law Firm will charges a lot on case like mine, it was worth waiting 4 months for settlements while some had to wait up to a year or more. That is why i give 5 stars and very good review to him and his firm.

Don’t come to Jason unless you want 100% parenting time, want to get more than 50% of assets and want your spouse to pay your attorney fee! Jason defeated the opposing attorney big time on my case. I walked away with way more than I expected. Jason and Vanessa were not only my legal team, they were there for me emotionally as well. There were things that I didn’t know would benefit me and they helped me understand them with patience, love and care. OUTSTANDING!!!!! I'm a father to two of the most perfect kids in the world! Going to court in ILLINOIS fighting for time with my childeren I've only ever heard horror stories. I had first contacted Nancy Chausow-Schaeffer on a referral in early 2014 when my previous marriage, where I had two young children, was having alarming marital issues. Nancy was able to take an objective view and guide me through the process of divorce in a calm and patient manner while also being very professional while interacting with my soon-to-be ex-wife's attorney. The divorce went smooth and finalized quickly over two months. Nancy reassured me that she would be there for me if issues arose over the next 17 years. I ended up retaining Nancy’s services again, just a few years post decree due to a JPA modification my ex-wife requested. Over the next 5 1/2 years, my ex-wife had a few marital changes, employment changes, and created a very challenging co-parenting environment. Nancy was by my side the whole way and kept us focused non-related topics arose. With a final order in place, I believe Nancy did the best she could to obtain a fair outcome and will be by my side if challenges come up again in the future. I would recommend Nancy to anyone looking for an attorney who will objectively guide you through the divorce process and then be there when future family law needs occur.

I had attorneys with the first bankruptcy case who were dodgy, passed my file around from one attorney to the next, kept me in the dark and then lost the case overall when I was trying to amend out amounts I did not agree with. When I filed the second time with John Redfield I had a completely different experience. He was able to help me successfully navigate a second bankruptcy while I relocated to pursue an education as a primary care doctor in a different state. I never once had to go to court for anything except one meeting, and Mr. John Redfield was there for that himself, not a legal assistant or some lay person. He is extremely knowledgeable, down to earth and accessible. These attributes are something that should be at the forefront of your mind when considering retaining legal representation. His prices are extremely fair for what you get. He does charge top dollar for his Chapter 13 defense, but it is totally worth it. He would complain about all the work I made him do for bottom dollar, but we still won the bankruptcy case. Lastly, he just secured a $45,000 cash settlement for me for an alternate matter. He is overall a fantastic attorney. Some specialize in one area, and in my opinion that is the way to go, but he is still very knowledgeable and resourceful and when I approached him concerning an alternate legal matter he took the case right away and we got top dollar overall in retrospect, even at settlement in law court with a judge at pre-trial I am still extremely satisfied. I could not have done better navigating all of this myself. Truly worth every penny in legal representation he charges, and it is a completely fair price. Thanks for all the great work. It was a pleasure interacting with you from start to finish. A true class act in legal services.
