Simple divorce ended up costing wayyyy more than quoted. Charges $21.50 everytime I had to asked what was going on with my case. Communication was not good. Frustrating experience. Never returns phone calls.
$20 consultation fee is extremely petty. Would not recommend.

Michael Tuszinsky did NOT fight for my son. He didn’t listen to me, there were several things he could’ve done that he didn’t. And several things he did which backfired. He doesn’t answer my emails. I was disappointed sorely for the amount of money he received from my son. I’m still waiting on an email again to hear from him, but no such luck. Hence this review.

We hired Jonathan a few years ago in a custody battle that was going nowhere with another attorney. From day one he was on top of things. He was able to wrap things up quickly and always keeping me informed. Jonathan cares and takes the time to help you. The staff was very helpful as well. I was very grateful for everything they did. Me and my father only went for a consultation but we knew as soon as we spoke with them that they are the best around we had met with 5 other lawyers in the area and they never explained anything to us just that they didn’t want to help us but this place was ready to help and said they could have won our case if we had come to them first our only problem was that our statue of limitations and run out

Giving Jane 2 stars as she has the potential to be a good lawyer however when she represented me in 2022 as a Keffer-Hirschauer attorney I was disappointed on many occasions . Jane completed a lot of work last minute, which might have been the result of Keffer-Hirschauer overloading their attorneys with too many cases. Regarding spousal maintenance, Jane wasted months before asking the court for a hearing on spousal maintenance, and Jane did not follow through with the request once filed. Jane recommended signing certain financial agreements without communicating the possibility that future hearing dates may be rescheduled or extended, which lead to me being left without funding for many months. Lastly, a few weeks before a scheduled mediation and final hearing date Jane was either fired from Keffer-Hirschauer or left Keffer-Hirschauer on her own, (I have not been given a reason for her departure from either side) which then extended my mediation and final hearing, left me in a desperate financial situation and resulted in an exorbitant amount of legal fee's as I had to start over with a new lawyer.

This review brings me absolutely no joy to write and isn’t done in malice by any means. I waited quite a few weeks to contemplate how I should formulate this review as I try not to act on emotions. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that it had to be written as I needed to warn others that our considering hiring Rebecca Eimerman. Again this isn’t in malice it is simply a factual over view of how poorly she represented me. First, let me describe the intake call. She assured me on the initial call that she would be willing to litigate my family law case in regards to modifying custody and child support. She indicated that she had handled complex cases such as mine in the past, and that she understood the complexities of my income and work structure that would help facilitate a more favorable outcome. While she never promised any outcome in my case as lawyers always refuse to for ethical reasons she did indicate she was willing to fight against opposing counsel. I proceeded to hire her based on these initial statements she made to me on that intake call. After that it took many months almost 9 to be exact to get my case ready to litigate in court. She spared no expense preparing the case during which time I in incurred well north of $2000 invoices a month. In the end only 11 weeks before we were set to litigate she withdrew her appearance on the case with no notice. She indicated her withdrawal from my case was due to me being untruthful. That couldn’t have been further from the truth. I was forth coming and honest about everything that was requested of me in the case. Furthermore, I felt the dishonesty claim to be a personal attack on my character, and a low blow given the fact this was never addressed to me until she withdrew counsel. Please for your sake consider other counsel then Rebecca for your family law needs.

Terrible law firm. I've called them twice. I have left a message. I left all the information they require in order for a call back and still I've heard nothing. There's nothing worse than waiting on a law firm to call you back to possibly help you and getting no response. I suggest you go to another law firm if you're looking for good representation or at least 1 will answer the phone and return phone calls.

I had Jon Rodgers as an appointed GAL just this year. He is not reachable and billing showed that he took multiple calls from the other party. My lawyer couldn't get through to him either. The entire process felt as if it was just a file that laid on his desk and the father was already going to take the hit.
The report was filled with more accusations from the other party than professional input and painted a blatant bias against me. Notably, the report was made without Jon ever stepping out of his office to conduct a proper/honest investigation. None of my contacts were reached out to to discuss outside point of views regarding our case.
I will admit that I didn't make a payment at the end in hopes that I could speak to Jon, but all attempts were a failure. After that a payment was made to end that cycle and even after; Jon would not speak to me to discuss a new GAL report and was honestly extremely rude.
If you're a father looking to get an honest GAL report done that will show your potential, I would steer very far in the opposite direction from Jon Rodgers. I would give no star but it isn't an option.

Not educated about the law. Chris Gambill is a personal injury attorney but charges $100 to prepare simple wills. Was told by Gambill that I couldn’t be my uncle’s sole power of attorney since I don’t live in the same state as my uncle. Multiple estate planning attorneys licensed in both Indiana and Illinois said this is not true and that I could be both my uncles power of attorney and healthcare representative while living in Illinois. In addition, Gambill said 50% of my uncles MUST go to his wife (my aunt) who has Parkinson’s disease. The same attorneys in consulted after him said this is not true, and suggested workarounds for this. Chris is just limited in his field of knowledge. His receptionist is quite daft too. Every time you end a call with her and say “thank you”, she yells out a big “uh huh” and hangs up. She says that everyday in a such a condescending Karen-like voice. There were also multiple times I called asking her to relay a message to Chris when he was not available and Chris never called me back. Perhaps the message was never delivered. Either way, consulting Chris Gambill was such a waste of both my Uncles and my time. If you have the option to, look elsewhere. You’ll be treated with far more dignity, compassion, and most importantly, given more accurate information pertaining to the law by pretty much every other attorney in the state of Indiana.

Lauren Harpold, it's not often I have spoke to an attorney that is this knowledgeable and has morals. Lauren in my opinion is very honest and trustworthy. I had a consultation with her and I wanted to hire her but she advised me why I shouldn't at this point. Other attorneys I've met would have just said sign here and here is your invoice. She thankfully is not like that at all. She has given me some faith back in attorneys. If you want a good honest and affordable attorney then just stop looking, you found her. She didn't sugar coat things but she was also not cruel. Just very honest and that rarely happens. Thank you Lauren.

The firm has been in existence for over 150 years and attempted to make their first Native American/Black/Latino hire. Their reasoning was that Mason needs "help". The firm approved Mason's work and school schedule, then went on to terminate him for the same scenario that was approved. A civil suit will be filed against CCHA for wrongful termination.

Mr. Bruce Bitner incorrectly filed my father's taxes in 2022 after he sold his local Noblesville business after 40 years. My hard working father hired Mr. Bitner to file his taxes, and he reported my dad's business proceeds as capitol gains, thus costing my father thousands of dollars in taxes and hours of his own time getting he and my mom's back pay from social security. When my dad called him out on his error, he insisted he filed it correctly. My dad hired a local accountant for $300 who refiled it CORRECTLY and he got the thousands of dollars owed him in overpaid taxes from both federal and state government. Money he never would have received had be not been more knowledgeable then the attorney he hired. But my father still had to spend hours of his own time getting their social security benefits back to what they were supposed to be due to this gross error. My mother and father got thousands refunded from both the federal and state governments as a result of Mr. Bitner's incompetence and refusal to acknowledge that he made a costly error. My dad has the records (and refunds) to prove it. When he told Mr. Bitner that the local accountant filed it correctly and he got refunds, Mr. Bitner said, "well I could have done that." Good Lord. Does his arrogance know no bounds? He wouldn't even acknowledge to my father that he made a gross error in the first place. When my dad asked for his fees paid to Mr. Bitner to be refunded (plus interest), Brucey actually said, "didn't the government pay you interest?" Degrees do not make people smart, competent nor compassionate. Mr. Bitner now refuses to talk to my father or return repeated phone calls. It's been months. My dad has lost the enjoyment of the almost $3000 they charged him plus all my dad's time and loss of enjoyment of the money he earned by changing tires and towing vehicles for 40 years. My dad and mom are known to many locally in Noblesville as generous, kind, hard-working people. It breaks my heart to see them treated with such disregard by those that are in a position to do financial harm. They both grew up extremely poor and clawed their way to success. My dad retired as a truck driver at 50 years old and bought a Shell franchise. He ran it as Shell gas and service station and later McMillan's Towing and Auto Care. He didn't retire until he was 85 years old. He is now 88. A proud army veteran. And smarter than Mr. Bitner, because if it weren't for him knowing the difference, my mom and dad would be out thousands of dollars and none the wiser. He and my mom have been married for 65 years. It breaks my heart to hear that a local attorney is treating my father this way. My dad had to spend hours on the phone to get his social security benefits restored after Mr. Bitner's incompetence. Please think again before hiring Mr. Bitner or those who think he's worthy of a partnership. God bless people like my parents: honest, hard working, people who treated their hundreds of customers over the years honestly and fairly. I will increase my stars further once paperwork is filed. I totally empathize with how inundated they must be - I just wish communication was better during the process.
They sent me a letter in January 2024 stating they would take my case. I turned in everything they asked of me. It's now July 2024, and I still haven't heard anything back despite 20+ calls to them. They have not returned a single phone call of mine in 6 months. Not one.
I'm happy to increase my stars if I ever hear back from them and they actually do what they said they would do.

Update 8/2024 - I did hear back from them so I am deeply grateful for that. I'm increasing my stars based upon the fact that they did follow through. I will increase my stars further once paperwork is filed. I totally empathize with how inundated they must be - I just wish communication was better during the process.
They sent me a letter in January 2024 stating they would take my case. I turned in everything they asked of me. It's now July 2024, and I still haven't heard anything back despite 20+ calls to them. They have not returned a single phone call of mine in 6 months. Not one.
I'm happy to increase my stars if I ever hear back from them and they actually do what they said they would do.

Christine was very efficient for me. My ex did everything he could to make things difficult but she was somehow able to get him to come to the final result that I was happy with. She was truthful with me-both positive and negative (when I needed it). She promptly (quicker than I expected) responded to my questions and issues about the divorce and helped me through this difficult time. When I worked with her face to face I was absolutely amazed at how quickly she was able to work and figure things out. Our financial situation was complicated and she sure knew how to work those numbers and FAST. Terrible law firm. I've called them twice. I have left a message. I left all the information they require in order for a call back and still I've heard nothing. There's nothing worse than waiting on a law firm to call you back to possibly help you and getting no response.
