When my son left here unexpectedly this law firm stepped in and helped me even tho mentally I was traumatized and was in able to cope they did all they could to help me. I give them 5 stars for their compassion and all the help they did for me it was like it was my own family the level of compassion and comfort they game me. I recommend this law firm to anyone going through digress that needs a lawyer. Back than my mind was all over the place and I’m in a better space now. I never got a chance to say thank you!

You should never tell a prospective client that you are going to force the homeowner to walk away when the homeowner is wanting to keep their home!! All I needed was payments I can afford since I am less than a year away from retirement.

I hired Benjamin K. Read to represent me in a court case, and I am beyond happy with the results and outcome of the whole case. His assistant called me to inform me of court dates, times, and costs and was very knowledgeable about any and everything I had questions about. His prices were not too bad compared to the other lawyers I had spoken with, which was a big deal to me because I didn't have tons of money to pay all at once. He allowed me to make payments to him, which most lawyers flat out just simply tell people they can not do this. He was very respectful throughout the entire process, and never judged me about my case whatsoever, and this meant a lot to me. Not once did I have to actually speak to a judge, he did all the work for me (which made me a lot less anxious and worried to come to court because talking to a judge can be scary, I don't care who you are)! To have someone that cares about his clients and represent them professionally and accordingly is the best thing someone going to court could ask for, and I am so pleased with the services he provided, which consisted of being able to get my felony charge dropped to a misdemeanor charge in such little amount of time! This was so huge of a deal to me, considering my record can and will have a big affect in jobs, my lifetime record, attending my children's school functions, and much more! Mr. Read's name and number is now saved in my phone for the future, whether it be myself needing his amazing skills in the court room again, or just to pass on for the next person in need of legal representation. I wouldn't want anyone else to be beside me in court, that's a fact. From beginning to end, he showed the upmost respect, compassion, and most importantly, his talent--and my freedom and record is proof! I hired Nicole to help with family law matter. She showed up for important dates but was unresponsive to emails, calls and texts any other time. Sometimes I wouldn't hear from her for a month. She seems extremely busy with her personal life which is fine but she shouldn't be practicing if she doesn't have the availability to help her clients

I hired Nicole to represent me in a legal matter. I am very dissatisfied with her services because of her lack of knowledge & experience. On multiple occasions it took Nicole days & sometimes weeks just to respond to a text, email, or phone call. She works a full time job & tries to practice law on the side which interfered on the time she could work on my case. She caused unnecessary stress on me & my family because at times she really didn’t know what she was doing & got in way over her head. I would definitely recommend anybody to do your research & hire a knowledgeable attorney with years of experience. Overall i think Nicole was a nice person & tried, but I my only intentions was to hire a knowledgeable attorney that can get the job done with minimum stress which she did not do.

Mark was very sensitive and thorough when we were dealing with a sudden death of a our mother. We quickly had to organize and put our grief aside and Mark was extremely sensitive and caring throughout this process. He made everything very easy to comprehend and kept in constant communication while we figured out next steps. Hopefully no more morbid excuses to use him but would definitely use again in a different (hopefully) circumstance.

She was not truthful. She seems like a nice person but will take advantage if given the chance. She took a case regarding child support and garnishing wages. She convinced a single mother that she could garnish the wages of someone on VA disability. She informed her that she has had experience doing that which is clearly not the case. Now the single mother is out a large amount of time and money and still is getting no child support from the dead beat father. Very upsetting that she would take this case and charge the victim when she is not able to deliver on her word. This was clear cut and up front from the beginning and she convinced the defendant that she would win. Not even a chance. I recommend a more informed Lawyer who wont take your case just to make money off of someone.

Katie was able to provide a positive outcome for my divorce as well as was smart enough to look ahead and solve potential future disputes with clauses in the paperwork that solved future issues. She is a little slow returning calls and emails, but she does work on her own or at least did so I was understanding. She was available for issues after the case was over and answered multiple questions without a further charge. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone needing a lawyer as she is smart, positive, and extremely hard working.

This "Lawyer" if you can even call him that. Got appointed to represent my fiance. First he did not tell her the judge had changed her court date which led to her getting a failure to appear. 2nd He refuses to go and see her in jail. She has no idea what's going on with her case. 3rd he has came to see other girls in the jail. He told to tell her he was working on it. Like wtf kind of attorney does that? 4th He refuses to return any phone calls from loved ones speaking on her behave. 5th Even when he's known to be in his office, if you call he has his secretary lie and say he's out of the office. All in all, you definitely need to be represented. Just not by him. Fire this attorney immediately if you are appointed him. Hopefully this will help people know who this guy is. And what he's all about.

Was told my case was not as important as other cases that were going on for the attorney. Granted, my case may not have been as big as a money maker for him, but it certainly had a major negative influence on my life thanks to his complete lack of attentiveness. In the final ruling against me, the judge made comment to the lack of defense that could have been presented to have got me cleared of the charges. At the end of the day, I was left with a lifelong blemish on my record for something I absolutely did not do and this attorney walked away with around $10,000 and a smugness that only added insult to injury. My only hope is that someday in the future, he finds himself in a similar situation where he is wrongfully accused and a person that could have offered him help turns his back like he did on me.

First took the case giving me every bit of confidence that we had a fitting chance. When we got into the real battle and exchange of information to get prepared for court I had to lead the way making sure we met before the court dates, going over again what we were fighting for as if he was shocked to see me and did not give me confidence that he knew what was going on. After our court date left me with not recieving infornmation, calling the office for infornmation, waiting a month before a return phone call and after that call still not a response without me digging one out myself. With no results or explanations on what or why things went the way that they did and a very large bill in the end I would make sure you make the right choice.

I talked to Mr Gabhart on July 30. He was pleasant and I gave him all the information. He said he'd be in touch. I heard nothing. I called again several weeks later. He was apologetic and assured he would get the ball rolling. My daughter called him for me in September. Again, very polite and apologetic. As of today, and calling 3 times, he has not done one thing!!
No contact with us at all!!
Very unprofessional. I glad others had a good experience with Mr Gabhart because he hasn't done anything for us.

Lee was hired for dissolution of marriage and to obtain sole custody of my niece. From September-January there was no progress but it was always the other sides fault….
Upon hiring Stephanie Brinkerhoff through Steven Dieg’s firm, she was able to obtain sole custody of my niece, with all rights signed away by adoptive father, and everything else that was requested. She did this in a matter of 8 hours. After waiting for 4 months with Lee Veazy with nothing accomplished. Lee gave the impression sole custody was impossible with Indiana’s parenting time guidelines and 50/50 was the best possible outcome. He should be ashamed to even charge for his ‘time’. He didn’t take any of this as seriously as it should have been taken. Just another case. Extremely poor communication and he seemed very ill prepared at the initial hearing. Ms. Brinkerhoff came in extremely prepared and even discovered $250k+ in entitled funds that Lee never mentioned. If you need a great attorney to get the job done, get Stephanie at Dieg’s!

I hired Mike Langer when I went through my divorce in 2011. I was a stay at home mom and had no income whatsoever and when it came time for support checks to start, he did not set anything up. I had to not only borrow money from my mom, I had to call him instead of him getting it started for me then charged me for the phone call. By this time my ex was over 3 months behind..
I was looking frantically for a job to support myself and my two children and he kept telling me to hurry and get a job since my soon to be ex was tired of supporting me… I had at least 3 interviews a week and no one was hiring a 45 year old mom that hasn’t worked in 20 years. I had to walk away from the home because I did not make enough money to retain it and had to use my 401(k) money from a previous job to put down on the new home and Langer was supposed to Quadro the money and did not so I was taxed on the money that I took out and all the IRS over $8000. When I called him on this he immediately had the money transferred and charged me an overnight fee for it! Never once did he suggest having my soon to be ex pay attorney fees nor did he offer to correct the errors he and his office had made. If I would’ve known I would’ve gotten them on errors and omissions! Do not hire this lawyer!

Mr. Langer was my second attorney in my recently settled divorce. He is what I refer to as "The Closer". He was able to take the necessary steps to move my divorce toward its conclusion. Mr Langer, as well as his entire office staff, impressed me with the professionalism and kindness with which they handled my case; as it was one of the most difficult times in my life. I always felt informed, and I felt as though my money was well spent on this highly regarded attorney in our community. You can't go wrong with Langer and Langer!

Horrible, Horrible representation. This attorney was extremely clear that I was in an extremely vulnerable divorce situation that was high conflict with soon-to-be-ex. She was not honest about the potential cost. Mostly, she did not return phone calls in a timely manner, she did not give me a clear understanding of my case and Indiana law, she was not my advocate, she was very shaming towards me, she seemed to actually side with opposing counsel. It was bizarre. I cannot fathom anyone needing to get a divorce, who is in a vulnerable situation because they were the "stay-at-home" parent having this attorney. She does not seem to be a women's advocate whatsoever. If you need someone who will have your back and fight for your rights...do not hire this attorney.

I hired Thomas for a child support modification. Seemed to do a good job at the beginning. I lost my job so he did a modification to adjust child support. Once I got back to being employed, he stated to let him know and he would file a new modification. I emailed him numerous times to file a new modification. Unfortunately, and for whatever reason he never responded to numerous emails. Now I need a corrected order created and filed with the Courts. He has left me high and dry. Very unprofessional to say the least.

Beware*** they know nothing about the laws to help you and they do nothing to help you, 1st time going I was told legal aid doesn’t work as I think, such as to low income qualify families, an attorney is not given to you. Then I call back about a wk later after speaking to a lot of outside attorneys because I was told by multiple ones to look into legal aid, due to I have done most/ all the footwork needed, all I am in need of is an attorney to file on paperwork due to the Indiana state law on said case. So I called them back the lady Johnnie that called me back made it sound very positive this could be done in my 45 day time window given by courts she advised me a paralegal would be calling me next day and yes that did happen but between communication barrier and her not understanding anything I was telling her she was very standoffish and told me my case was too ‘complex’ even though all parties are in arrangement with. This all being said I told her I do have possibilities out there that at this time doesn’t seem completely out of reach she wanted to know attorney names I hesitated due to already not trusting her but she used the reasoning of wanting to see if they would pro bono it…. No incorrect not at all why she wanted that information. She just continued to get ruder and not helpful nor understood case at hand at all kept over talking me etc. anyways towards the end of this awful conversation I asked her now you are the paralegal she replied yes I said could I please get your name she also did not want to be forth coming, actually told me that didn’t matter I said well actually it does and I had given you attorneys name I didn’t feel comfortable with eventually she said ‘Kaye’ rather the truth or not it would be very easy for me to describe her by look and voice. Thank you for your time. This place does NOT hold any hopes for you regarding even simple/agreeable matters and just wants to tell you how you’re in too deep basically and no1 probably will help through their office so have a back up plan (her words).

I reached out to Joni for a consultation. We had a date/time set. When that arrived, Joni called but as soon as I answered, she hung up. I immediately tried to call her back, assuming there was an issue with my phone. No answer. I emailed her letting her know I attempted to call back in case there was a phone issue.. no response. I would pick her a million times over. She was very thorough and honest. She made valid points, stuck to our goal in obtaining custody, provided all documents for judge, and gave great advice that was fair for both parties.
