We have a blended family. We consulted with Attorney Lea Shelemey about parenting time issues. Her response was thoughtful, and considerate of our family’s needs. We had been through the traditional litigation model and despite our best efforts, the other party continued to be non-compliant in nearly every respect, and (more distressing) randomly withdrawing court-ordered parenting visits/time. Our experience with other attorneys was good, but going back to court did not seem go get us where we had hoped to be. Thanks to Lea’s guidance, we tried mediation, and that really helped. We have now made progress with the other party and have discovered a more satisfactory method for resolving our disputes. We continue to use mediation when we need to work through issues. Although Lea is a trained litigator, we appreciate her skill as a peacemaker (especially since I am a psychologist). I will definitely be going back to Ms. Shelemey when we need further guidance. I just want to point out a couple of things regarding Mrs. Pulley. I have a very interesting case going on regarding custody that has had a lot of things happen.
1st of all, if you want someone who’s going to pay attention to you and tell you the truth as long as you’re upfront about your situation, this is the attorney to have. Crystal is very passionate about what she does and definitely does her research. Let me reiterate, she does her RESEARCH. I wasn’t paid to do this. I wasn’t asked to do this. This is just my experience with her as we navigate through my custody case.
2nd of all, any small changes within your case, she’s on top of it and will let you know. Regardless of the outcome of my case, I feel so comfortable dealing with Mrs. Pulley knowing that she’s putting her best foot forward to achieve a good resolution. I would personally highly recommend her for whatever custody issues you may be dealing with.

I am a father of two children. I retained Ms. Pulley because my ex-wife was falsely accusing me of being behind in child support and I was being denied the visitation rights that had been ordered by the court in my divorce decree. I was afraid of pursuing this matter in court because I feel that sometimes the courts may look upon the mother more favorably than the father. However, Crystal worked extremely hard on my case. Not only was she efficient, but she always remained professional no matter what the situation and she was good at explaining the various areas of the law that I didn't understand. In the end, she helped me resolve my case better than I could have ever dreamed I would be able to. I highly recommend her to anyone.

I knew I found the right attorney for my contentious divorce and custody case after my initial consultation with Mr. Sutton. I had another attorney at the time and while I was not displeased with their counsel, changing my representation was the best decision for me and my family. In the interest of full disclosure, I want to say upfront that I do have a personal relationship with Mr. Sutton. We have been friends since we were undergraduates together at our alma mater.
I hired Mr. Sutton to help me with an ancestry and Irish citizenship matter. I was a little nervous, anticipating many bureaucratic hurdles and endless piles of paperwork. Lucky for me, the paperwork seemed to be mostly taken care of on Mr. Sutton‘s end. I have barely had to do anything other than ask questions and occasionally review and sign documents. Mr. Sutton, on the other hand, has kept me apprised of the ongoing actions within the process, gave me realistic expectations for what the process would be like, and continues to help me understand tangential legal issues. He excels at explaining a legal situation and possible solutions or outcomes (though he is really not a big fan of ‘what if’ questions. I guess most lawyers aren’t). He is also particularly gifted at strategic thinking and maintaining his calm collected rationale. Which is particularly great if you’re like me and have an aggressive form of anxiety that is constantly worrying. He is clearly intelligent, which you notice pretty much right away, and it is a huge relief to have someone this smart in my corner helping me navigate through what can be a truly Byzantine process. Do yourself a favor. Hire him.

My son had two underage drinking arrests. He's a good kid but you never know what a judge is going to do. Nicole is a former prosecutor. You can tell. She is focused, direct, responsive and knowledgeable. In the court room, you can see that she is not only confident but respected.
We had a good outcome. But beyond the positive legal outcome, Nicole was certain to make sure that my son understand the seriousness of the charges before him and the potential consequences to which he could have been subjected. My son got it.

I hired Mr. Moore earlier in 2015 with a suspension of license infraction and was looking at HTV status, something I could not afford due to my job. His rates were very fair and his professionalism was top notch. He ended up getting it dropped altogether for me and even refunded me some of the my payment since he did not have to use it all! Usually lawyers take your check and never look back, but he was very honest with me and said that it had not taken my entire payment to finish the job. I was and still am beyond pleased. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have a different kind of review. I can't actually discuss what it's like to hire them, because they didn't let it get that far. However, I can give a positive review of their honesty and responsiveness. I approached them with a frustrating tax issue that had crept up on me unexpectedly while living out of state for a couple of years. I got a very prompt response, and once I had forwarded on a summary of the steps I had taken and my general predicament, they told me that they believed the situation would be resolved without their intervention, and recommended following up if not. They were correct, and so I never had to hire them. The problem ended up costing me exactly $0. If I ever need the services they offer in the future, I will most certainly approach them first.

This lawyer was excellent. I was very sorry to see her go when she took maternity leave. I felt like she cared about me and stayed in my corner during a difficult time in my life. I struggled to understand the process of divorce, what was important and what wasn't, what "looks good" and what doesn't, etc. Nothing was intuitive for me, but Leah was a guide and a counsel. I hired Jill after having my first consultation with her, to help me get through my divorce.
