Kay Jafari is one of the most honest and trustworthy men I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. I was drawn into civil litigation, because of the actions of an ex-wife. Although I had no personal knowledge of her actions, her conduct resulted in civil action against me, by a private company, and the threat of civil action, by the US Attorney's Office. Kay's expert knowledge of the law, and ability to negotiate on my behalf, resulted in the company dropping their case and the US Attorney never proceeding with theirs. I highly recommend Kay and his law firm. Their fees are reasonable and you get actual results for your money. I would not hesitate to hire Kay again!

For the past two years, Ms. Neeta Patel has been my divorce attorney. I hired Kelly to help me prove to the Court that my ex was endangering my son by neglecting him over years of drug addiction and failed recovery attempts. Finally, after fighting my ex , the lawyers and the family's efforts to hide the problem--Kelly got the Court to order drug testing and evaluation, which proved what I suspected. I have my son now safe and secure with me, transitioning to recover from the years of neglect that he experienced. Kelly Miller is very professional and we are happy that we found her indirectly through a Christian professional directory. I kept reaching out to see if I can Reopen a custody case again regarding custody issues, contempt of orders and conflicts that were affecting me and my children. And so far my situation did not seem relevant to some extent for the case to be opened again by some consultations I had before, until one day at the right moment I found a lawyer Fernando Acuna who gave me a consultation with full on questions about the situations and the status on the case. He took the time to analyze the facts of the contempt of orders, etc. and how the case can proceed. He also gave great legal advice to someone who needed hope. He did explain every process and explained different scenarios of the case all which led us to have a great outcome. I hired Mr. Sheldon to handle my divorce. It was a nightmare of a case, but he got it handled, and didn't charge me for every single paper clip, like so many others do.
He explained everything to me, and answered ALL my calls and emails HIMSELF! He was fair and honest, and I couldn't be happier with his professionalism, intelligence, and experience.
Do yourself a favor, when hiring an attorney. Ask a LOT of questions. Find one who doesn't have a lot of paralegals doing your work. Find one who doesn't bill you for every email you write to them.
I HIGHLY recommend Philip Sheldon. He was fantastic to work with.
I also referred him to a co-worker who needed immigration help, and he did a great job for her as well.

Mr. Sheldon is a very professional attorney who under promised and over delivered. I am out of state and had a jurisdiction issue with a judge in CA. I was so confident the judge would rule against me and we would have to go to appeal that I hired Mr. Sheldon to make clean arguments to preserve the record for appeal. Well, he did a lot more than that! His arguments and research of the law was so convincing that a judge who never changes his mind had no other choice but to rule FOR me. Mr. Sheldon has saved me THOUSANDS in appeals fees. I will definitely hire him again in the future to handle child visitation, which CA does have jurisdiction over.
The other thing I really like about this attorney was how easy it was to get a hold of him. I've worked with some attorney's who won't give out their cell phone or won't immediately update you when something happens on your case. I never had that problem here. Mr. Sheldon was on top of things and always let me know what was going on, which was really important to me being several states away.

In 2001, my ex served me with divorce documents, which I signed but later discovered were never finalized. The dissolution should have been very straight forward as there was no property or children involved. But after 7 years and 2 attorney's, the action was still unresolved. A friend referred me to Michael G. Martin promising I wouldn't be disappointed! I wasn't. He was able to get my ex to cooperate and bring the action to conclusion. In July of 2008, it was finally done, I finally had the divorce I thought my ex wanted!

**Review of Gill Law Group**:
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Gill Law Group and specifically with Raja's office. When I first walked in for a consultation, Raja made big promises, assuring me that he could help with my divorce and even promised to hold my ex in contempt, claiming he would do everything necessary to push the case forward. I felt confident in his assurances.
However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Despite knowing that I didn’t have the financial means to pay upfront, they began accumulating my bill in anticipation of the upcoming hearing. As time went on, their strategy became clear: they were more interested in racking up fees than actually working toward a resolution. They suggested a strategy that was completely counterproductive and ultimately would not help my case.
Just two days before my court hearing, they dropped me, advising me to get a continuance so I could save money, even though I had already paid them for their services. To make matters worse, they continued to bill me during this period, charging me for communications about the strategy they never even followed through with. And then, out of nowhere, an additional $3,900 appeared on my bill. In total, they billed me over $11,000 in one month for services that were not only ineffective but actively harmed my case.
I felt like I was being extorted. The pressure to come up with more money or risk being abandoned at the hearing was beyond unprofessional. They were hired to attend my hearing, not to charge me exorbitant fees for billing-related tasks like writing down appointments. It felt like a shake-down.
After reading through other reviews, I found that many others had similar negative experiences. The only review that truly resonated with my situation was the one that echoed the same frustrations I experienced. If you're considering this firm, I'd strongly recommend you look elsewhere for legal representation.

Fraud! Was awarded a 22K settlement and received fraudulent paperwork claiming Epstein credits of 21K to my ex. The law firm stole 21K. For this you will be disbarred and indicted. Contacted the ex and she said she sent a check to the attorney for 22K. I do not endorse this law firm for anyone seeking legal services. Contacting the California Bar first thing Monday. I must say I’m definitely glad to have found Andrew and Brian from this firm to help me. They are awesome guys! They took the time to truly understand the inner kinks in my case and analyzed my case from every angle, not just telling me what I wanted to hear. They took the time to explain to me my options instead of pressuring me into taking a position that I would end up regretting.
I must say this office is a well-oiled machine! They do things quickly and efficiently without sacrificing detail. The staff was also pretty awesome! Especially Cheryl! She was very helpful and was able to hone me in on the details that were very important in my case.
They never went a few days without updating me as to new occurrences and kept me in the loop at all times which I loved! I can’t say I have any complaints about my experience with them.
