In 2009, I went through a divorce after being married for 14 years to my high school sweetheart. I was devastated to find out that my husband was having an affair and that his mistress was moving from Boston to Jacksonville in less than 2 weeks. A friend of mine advised that I call her attorney, Garrett Barket, and I am so glad that I did!
From the moment I walked into the office, Garrett and his paralegal, Jan, did whatever they could to put me at ease. I think of them as the "dynamic duo." They knew that I was scared, devastated and had no idea what was going to happen to me or my kids. Garrett treated me with respect and was beyond caring. Jan was always available for questions and Garrett was always prompt to reply when I needed to be in touch with him. He knew the law and was honest about what could happen and did not give me any false expectations.
I met with several other "top" attorneys in town who were either not professional or treated me as if I was just a number. One of them even hinted that he would like to go on a date! When I met Garrett, I was impressed with his knowledge of the law and how respectful he was. He made me feel confident that he would defend my rights to the best of his abilities. My case turned out just like he had predicted and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was able to get alimony until my kids are 18 yrs of age and the child support I needed to provide them the same kind of lifestyle we were accustomed to. A divorce is devastating to a family, but when you have a reputable attorney on your side, it makes the process a little less daunting.
Garrett is definitely a top notch attorney and one of the most honest guys I know. I would recommend him to anyone I know that is looking for a wonderful attorney!

I am confused at the previous reviews, my experiences have only been positive. I originally hired Robert Fishback for an incident a few years ago for a traffic violation. All I had to pay was the ticket, I did not get points. A few years ago, I was pulled over after I had left a party and blew a .08 and was taken to jail. I didn't know who else to call ..and glad I did. He was able to contact a judge and I was let out within a few hours. I was looking at a DUI but thanks to Mr. Fishback,I got a lesser charge and eventually he had it expunged from my record all together. Most recently I was speeding and again, Mr. Fishback managed to get me no points on my license.

I did not know I could call an attorney from the Duval County Jail. I sat in there for 21 days. Not fun!
The first and second time I went to court, the prosecution gave wrong information to the judge. Because I confronted the prosecution, when she told the judge I had four DUI’s the judge did not like that at all. It was my first DUI. On the second court appearance the prosecution said I hit four vehicles. That was not true either. The judge, at that point asked the prosecution if it was possible if I had hit one car with all the passengers in the car. The judge was correct. At that time, he ordered some kind of investigation. I had wrecked into one car.
Mr. Fishback also told me from the beginning there were no guarantees my case would come out in my favor. There was no way he could promise that and if he had promised me he could win the case hands down I would have known immediately he would have been the wrong attorney to hire. I like and respect him for his honesty professionalism.
I really cannot accurately express my satisfaction for the way he handled my case in every aspect. He worked hard and he did great.
I met a lady the other day that said she needed a lawyer so I immediately gave her Mr. Fishback's telephone number and location. I will recommend Mr. Fishback every single time I know someone is in need of legal assistance.
Mr. Fishback will also send you a letter(s) as a follow-up with the disposition and other important information. He looks out for the best interest of his clients. I know one thing for sure, if I ever need legal assistance again I know whom to call.
Mr. Fishback saved me from a lot of heartache and many extra expenses that could have come from the DUI. I suggest not using a public defender.
Overall I couldn’t be more pleased with the way my case was handled by Mr. Fishback from his very first day and all the way through to completion.

I highly recommend Steven Combs. I have known Steven since 2009 when he represented me during a bankruptcy and foreclosure. I found Nancy Cleaveland to be very knowledgeable and have had her handle several legal issues for me. She is very direct and helped me have realistic expectations. I had bad problems with my restaurant manager because he was too soft in its ways to screw employees and it happened thefts, cleaning done wrong, hours counted or improperly counted too, documents not filed in due time, fines, etc. . a real mess. I appealed to Mr. Francis M. Boyer who advised me, put the director on the right path, ask me to close the restaurant for two days to clean all up, what i did. He is a great guy and a very good lawyer. I recommend him eyes closed. Now, my director took the control of the restaurant with more confidence, employees are ok, all is in its due place, invoices are paid in time, documents filled in due time too because Mr Boyer have a look on it. My restaurant runs right and i enjoy it.

Since the beginning, they were upfront with timing, prices, and possible outcomes. She works with you , and explains the process with everything that’s going on when it’s actually happening so you don’t feel lost. Ms. Benjamin helped me get a DUI case dismissed. I had no idea of my rights and basically give up so much by thinking the arresting officer was my “friend”. I know in cases of wrongful stopping and even arresting without probable cause is a violation and may have been avoided had I known Ms. Benjamin before.
After reviewing my discovery, my below the limit blood alcohol levels and incorrect arresting procedures, my case was dismissed. I’m happy to have that part of my life behind me with.

Ms. Giovannetti represented me through a nasty and complicated divorce. She was wonderful about explaining everything every step along the way. I have friends of mine going through a divorce and their attorneys don't seem to help them understand the process. Ms. Giovannetti guided me every step along the way. She explained the law in terms I could understand. When situations escalated to emergent levels, she was quick to respond and file the appropriate things necessary in a very timely fashion. She helped me fight for my rights and always listened to my needs. She kept me informed along the way and always explained the risks and benefits of moving in a certain direction. Since a business was also involved, she helped coordinate other attorney's and financial experts to consult with throughout the process. I started my divorce process a several months ago and interviewed 5 different attorneys and firms to find the absolute best person to represent me through this process. My 13 year marriage was not always easy and I knew the divorce process would not be either. I chose Hannah Del Toro after much consideration and thought and actually she was the first attorney that I interviewed. Through a very dark time in my life, Hannah brought more light and peace than I could have ever asked for. There were many things that came up along the way that took a good bit of time and research, but she always kept me informed and made me feel at ease. Attorney Reeves works with the Justice League Law Group. They have been my attorney since they have opened. Mrs. Reeves although a new attorney continues to represent me and advise me on my on going child custody battle and other commercial business matters for my business.
When I feel things are getting rough, Attorney Reeves is my constant reminder things are going to be okay. Not only does she tell me things are going to be okay, but she stands up in court and gets my point across to the Judge and opposing counsel outside of court.
