I feel like I am doing a review on a FAMILY member. My sister met him at her job and he gave her his information. She ended up calling him for a car accident she had. When I i had my accident years later she told me not to call anybody until she called me back with his information. She told me not to worry and that he will treat you as though your family and she was right. Even down to using emojis on messages. He even talked to me about my dogs. David made this chapter of my already hetic life as seamless as he could. I was completely helpless because my car was totaled. He helped me with EVERYTHING I needed to survive this tragic event. He took care of both my 14 year old daughter and myself. I am so happy I could cry because this review comes from the bottom of my heart. David is our family attorney and I have already referred him to one of my co-workers as such. David we love you. You are incredible not to mention very talented.

I really try to make a point of leaving an honest review when I encounter businesses that go out of their way to accommodate their clients. I went to see Erik Severino at the beginning of last year for a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I wanted to wait until the process was fully completed before I did my review. Since it was my first time I was super nervous and scared. Scott was helping me for the most part. You can still email Erik questions as well and he responds very quickly. They were both knowledgeable, patient and responsive. I had so many questions since it was my first time and they answered all of them. They helped me through everything and reassured me. The paperwork was done very well. I have no issues even from this day. I really recommend their services. They are very caring, good and trustworthy. They get the job done. I met with Mr. Goodman who answered all my questions and knew his stuff. I decided to hire a less expensive attorney but was not happy with the progress ended up being a waste of mo ey with other guy. I switched and hired Mr. Goodman and could not have been more impressed with the outcome. You do get what you pay for. I should have gone with my gut reaction at the beginning that would have save me anxiety, time and money. Don’t make the same mistake.

The experience I had with Mr Porter Allred has been nothing short of amazing. I had a complicated case that also had elements of workers comp. He set me up with a workers comp attorney that guided me through that whole process. I also had injuries that resulted in surgeries and Porter checked in on me regularly to see how I was doing, he felt more like a buddy than an attorney. After the workman’s comp case closed out Porter began helping me with my insurance case. He remained steadfast and persistent and all the while he was very positive and reminded me at times how fortunate I was to have not been more seriously injured or killed!! Before retaining a lawyer and filing for divorce, many people warned me that lawyers were soulless, especially in Las Vegas, and only concerned with lining their pockets with my money. I was told horror story after horror story from people who've dealt with lawyers here in Vegas. Scary stuff! Fortunately, not only was this NOT my experience at all, but my interactions with McFarling Law Group was, in fact, the best experience with lawyers I have ever heard of!
McFarling Law Group is the absolute BEST law firm in Las Vegas, BOTH HANDS DOWN!! Not only are they determined to fight for you and win, but they actually care about the people they are fighting for.
I was divorcing a certifiable, textbook narcissist. When I first met with Emily McFarling, I was in a tight spot financially and could not pay her entire retainer. Emily gave me a significant discount so that I could secure McFarling Law Group as my counsel.
My ex-husband hid money and assets, got people to forge documents and falsify information, lied throughout the case and caused the case to be prolonged many times by not following the judge's orders and by not submitting requested, subpoenaed documentation. McFarling Law Group made sure to get judgments against him for this.
This case went on for years! This, along with circumstances due to the Covid pandemic, eventually drove me into bankruptcy. It was crazy how we met. Todd was an appointed attorney on my son's case and before I got to meet him in person. I had a client of his come into my non-profit organization to do court ordered community service. The client asked if I could fax over my information to his lawyer to show where he would be doing his community service hours at and duties. When I asked for his attorney information, the client said Todd Leventhal and I said WOW we was just appointed him as counsel for my son however we haven't met yet. What a small world. Needless to say, we finally met Mr Leventhal in person and he was very professional, told us straight up about my son's case and advised us on what way he was going to represent him and what we should expect. Todd didn't sugar code anything, he was straight forward and delivered on what he said he was going to do. Todd arranged a plea deal that made it possible for my son to be able to come home and be with his family. My son was facing 27 years to life and Todd had him out in less than 5 years. My son is now working and finishing his classes to earn a certificate in welding. If you are looking for an attorney that is a realist and keeps it real. I have never needed a lawyer to represent me in the past, so this was my first experience. I bet that, along with fictional depictions of lawyers, a person's first experience with a lawyer probably colors how they generally think of them. If I am correct in that idea, then my idea of lawyers is that they are awesome.
Levity aside, Ashlee and her firm (to include Sue, the paralegal) are fantastic. I was going through a divorce that was initially civil and was going to be a joint petition but my ex kept delaying for months. Eventually I had to hire an attorney and from day one Ashlee was attentive in understanding the particulars of my circumstances, my ideal outcome, and explaining to me what I could expect.
I am the type who researches and ask questions. Ashlee was always available via their client portal and, once she realized my personality was to know the details, she provided explanations of everything happening along the way.
I ended with a settlement that was in line with what I wanted. 100% without hesitation recommend.

My father and I made an appointment with Marjorie to discuss preparing a will and trust. Marjorie and her staff were all very professional, warm and very nice. They treated my father respectfully and explained everything very simply and to the point. I'm a stay at home mom, and my husband is active military,. We live outside the jurisdiction of nevada, but my case is being held there. So I hired RIGHT LAWYERS because of the positive military review.
I have had two retainers. One in which was smooth, informative, knowledgeable, and kept me up to date on all decisions made with approval on my behalf. (Laura) Nothing was done unless it was ran and throughly discussed by/with me (as law intends). I FULLY enjoyed the service. I paid 3,500$ and I felt it was well spent for everything Laura did. (She spoke a language I could understand, let me know I hired her to do a job, and my goals and intrest were top priority. She had an open line of communication and understood these cases can be very stressful and draining. She kept me informed EVERY step of the way. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.
Then theres the new retainer.... (theres a previous 1 star review on here, and I'm experiencing the EXACT same things although I've agreed to pay the money asked of me)
The military community has even come together to help fundraise for my cause for "keeping military family's together" both in vegas in alaska. So that my family doesnt go without the basics. I interned at Barnes Law Group when I thought that I wanted to be a Family Law attorney. A woman I hadn't seen in years tried to collect child support monies from me for a kid that wasn't mine. I hadn't spoken to the woman in years. My girlfriend said I urgently needed an attorney. I contacted Attorney Barnes who explained how my wages could be garnished and I could even be put in jail for nonpayment of child support if I don't dna test and prove I am not the father. I could not be happier with the service I received from Attorney Carol Barnes and Barnes Law Group. Everyone at Barnes Law Group was able to answer my questions when I called. When I sent an email, I always received an answer on the same day and most emails were answered within the hour. When I first spoke with Attorney Barnes, she outlined a strategy for handling my case. Peter James esq. has been my armor and shield against my narcissistic Borderline personality ex-wife saying anything she thinks might sway the judge including (I kid you not) that I treat our daughter like "a modern-day Cinderella" in her actual motion! Peter often cited cases of precedence from memory during consultation and always included these in his written and verbal arguments. He did not waste time with hearsay and stuck to referencing actual requisites of family law for the judge to weigh against whatever false or twisted half truth that (sadly in Nevada) must be taken as true unless evidence to the contrary is provided. Becky represents my brother in a nasty divorce and custody battle. He lives in Texas and his ex-wife in Las Vegas. Because of lies his wife told the hearings are held in Vegas. Becky put forth and continues to put forth 100% for my brother. Not only has she been able to show the courts what kind of lying, manipulative person his ex-wife and her family are, but she was able to get my brother custody of my niece and reduced visitation for his ex-wife to his daughter. Becky continues to represent him in a professional manner since his ex-wife continues to file motions to keep this in court and in her attempt to drain my brothers money and time and ruin his lively hood. Becky truly is a fantastic attorney. After interviewing several attorneys, I hired Becky to handle my divorce. When I first spoke with Becky, she immediately calmed my worries and showed true compassion and empathy. She told me NOT to worry; that everything would be alright, and because of her expertise, everything turned out better than I expected. Becky even allowed me to pay monthly payments when other attorneys demanded payment up front.
Becky and Teresa, her paralegal, would keep on top of the numerous emails and plethora of documents I'd send and ALWAYS were quick to respond by either email or phone call. During the months we worked together Becky told me details matter of factly. She explained exactly what was going to happen and what I would expect with each step (requests for discoveries, settlements, going to court and with mediation).
