Being a man in a divorce you have everything against you . I only wanted the best for my son. Amy was absolutely amazing !!! She answered and responded to everything in a timely manor. She did not pull punches with me which I needed. I ended up with my house and all my property. She also got me child support from my wife . It was a tough process and Amy and everyone at her firm made it as easy as it could be going through a divorce. Thank you for everything!

Just over a year ago a truck collided with me while riding my bike. I sustained serious injuries requiring two surgeries and ongoing rehabilitation. My Wife was left with how to proceed with hospitals, ambulance services, insurance companies, police communication and the future. After a number of calls to friends, some attorneys , as to who best to represent us, Lauri Boxer- Macomber name came up. What a stroke of good fortune amidst a great deal of darkness. Forget about wimpy lawyers who just want to settle the case. You need a lawyer who will fight for you! Ardith Keef specializes in only Family Law and what an advocate!! I couldn't have been in better hands. She worked tirelessly to get me what I deserved. She charges a reasonable rate, and never "padded the bill" by asking for the same things repeatedly. I was searching for a lawyer and came across a few who told me outrageous prices and I wasn’t comfortable with them based upon conversations I had with them. I keep looking and came acrosss Donald he was hands down the best lawyer ever. He beat a drug trafficking case with 7 counts of trafficking. Just when me and my family gave up hope he helped us stay positive and did his best and his best was great. If I ever need another lawyer I will definitely go to him first. He showed he cared about my family and myself. He listened to the cries he didn’t take our frustrations personal. He promised he would help us and that he did! This man is the best lawyer I have ever come across. I got my money worth out of him I actually think I got more than that. He always said it wasn’t about the money it was about bringing my family back together and that he did. There’s no way I can pay him but and I can’t thank him enough but he’s appreciated. Donald you are the BEST

I was facing very severe felony charges including multiple class a aggravated trafficking charges, gun charges and a a few others... I believe it was a total of 7 charges all of which were felonies. The trafficking charges alone held a mandatory minimum of 4 years. I had a lawyer that at tre beginning that was not doing anything for me as far as advocating and trying to get me the best possible result. Then I switched to Attorney Hornblower.... best decision I ever made. Not only did he work he’s on my case, he went above and beyond. He met with the DA numerous times to talk about my case, he gathered numerous letters from people on my behalf to give to the DA, he allowed me to call his cell phone on weekends when I absolutely needed to, and he actually cared about making a difference for me. I wasn’t just another case number on his list. Every single case he has is a case that he puts his all into and does everything he possibly can. He ended up getting the trafficking charges that held the mandatory minimum dropped so I was only sentenced to 16 months in and probation when I got out. With good time that’s only a year. For the charges I had.... that deal is an absolute miracle. In addition to his hard work he never failed to give me words of encouragement which meant so much to me. If I ever need a lawyer in the future, Don is the person I’m calling without a doubt.

Poor communication in the beginning everything will sound great once you pay him he's worse than a legal aid. Waste of my time and money I had to have another attorney guide me in the right direction he's not upfront and he procrastinates. You will be disappointed

I contacted James Wade at Beacon Tax Advocates, LLC. needing help with IRS issues for an estate of which I was the personal representative; a role for which I had no training. There were tax concerns for both the estate's individual and business taxes. I had been unable to effectively work with the IRS representatives. I finally contacted Beacon Tax Advocates, for no other reason than they were a Maine firm. I say "finally" only that, looking back, I could have saved myself a lot of time and frustration if I had contacted them from the start. They were incredibly responsive in responding to my inquiry and listening patiently as I described the issues. Their knowledge was immediately evident. As they worked through the tax issues, they stayed in contact , updating me on their progress. I can not speak highly enough of how that alone took away any anxiety, giving me assurance that they were working to resolve any issues and bring the matter to a conclusion. In short, through their hard work and persistence, the issues were resolved in a timely fashion and to the benefit of the estate and my peace of mind. I would highly recommend their services to any requiring help from a knowledgeable tax attorney.

I’d like to extend my highest endorsement for the Law Office of James Wade. Like anyone who receives a letter from the IRS, it’s disconcerting. Had initial phone call and emailed back and forth to have Jeremy help me with a legal issue. He was attentive and straightforward. When his services were needed a few months later on what we discussed, he simply wouldn’t respond to either email or phone. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought he may be on vacation or something, but this was not the case. Found another review elsewhere that said that they were also ignored. My friend, who referred me, was ignored on a small piece of advice she was seeking this spring. Unresponsive. Do not recommend. Had to scramble for last minute representation with another lawyer.

I was told (coached) how to behave in court. Opposing attorney slipped a fraudulent financial exhibit in on me as a First Exhibit. Mr. Rodway should have objected. Exhibit showed I had merely $900 of NON-marital assets, when in fact I had a house, three cars, an airplane, motorcycle, collection of firearms, an IRA worth $30,000 at the time of my marriage to my wife, Kay Fraser. Maine family court was a "kangaroo" setup and I had to file a bankruptcy in Arizona to put a stop to the delays and Maine legal expense. Mr. Rodway did some excellent work uncovering nearly $100,000 of marital assets my ex-wife had stolen from the marriage.

Attorney Sweatt was hired to represent my disabled adult in regard to a PFA filed against him. Attorney Sweatt advised my son to agree to the PFA that was filed against him. My son could have had the same outcome without spending money on an attorney. This is a terrible outcome. I urge caution before hiring or doing business with this attorney.

I have a couple of collection accounts that I want to get removed…. I was going through a divorce and lost track of certain bills/paperwork. Also I have completed a student loan that went into default. I have been making on time payment with the new provider but the old loans still remain as closed/transferred with the negative payments history on them. Shouldn’t they be deleted Since the same loans are now with a new loan provider? It is essentially duplicated reporting them right? I am planning on getting married in a couple years and want to buy a house with my current boyfriend and with this stuff on my report I fear I won’t be able to do this. This was exactly my story until I contacted PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST who did the magic by clearing all the debts and raised my score 804 excellent across the bureaus and even added some positive tradelines on my report. Took a retainer, accomplished nothing in over 2 months. Wouldn't answer any questions I had directly reguarding when he intended to start my paperwork. Never spoke to him in person, and it usually took a few days to hear back after I emailed him. Only decent thing he did for me was refund my entire retainer, but legally he had to because no work on my case had been done.

Once upon a time when Angela Thibideau was here it was amazing! Now you can’t even get a call back from the secretary. Unacceptable unprofessionalism from a legal group. I wish I could give negative stars. My last phone call to them was less service than what you would get from a fast food drive thru. Disgusting customer care. Angela was so caring and helpful probably why she left the group considering how you treat people now.

We had a terrible tragedy in our family and needed the aid of a family lawyer immediately to help care for a child who lost two parents. I don’t think words will do justice to the treatment we received from Mr. Fyler, Jennie and the staff. You know someone is a quality person when their body language shows compassion. Another good indicator of a good person is when they do not know something they find someone who does. An exemplary person dies both of these things and puts forth diligent work and service. Mr. Fyler holds all of these qualities. He asked for help when he was not sure of a specific law or procedure. He advocated for us. He empathized with us and made our case a priority. What could have taken months was handled within a few weeks and a child was able to sleep knowing she had guardians to protect her. I wish we did not have to meet this staff under these circumstances but I feel blessed that they were the ones we chose to guide us through it. I highly recommend this law firm and especially Charles Fyler. When you hire Mr. Fyler you’re lucky enough to have Jennie on your side too. Someone who brings a smile in a sea of tears.

I hired Mr. Fyler to handle my case between my ex husband and I for parenting plan modifications as well as some serious parenting time problems. Thousands of dollars later including hiring a guardian atlitem my kids never met and 2 years later... Never saw a judge, got charged to draft documents for the judge that unknowing to only my self couldn’t be filed cause Processes hadn’t been followed. Allowed my ex husband to cover his tracks of years worth nonsense.. Never got communications that were happening lawyer to lawyer.. Got charged for documents to be drafted that were incorrect that then needed to be redrafted on my money of course. When I talked to him on the phone, email or in person it was as if he had no clue on my case. Every time had to “refresh” his memory on very important matters in my case. Go solo before you spend your money here is my recommendation.

Tyler C. Hadyniak is an associate at this firm initiated and conducted my case for VA Disability pay. I was very satisfied with the work. Tyler kept me appraised and responded to all my questions promptly. Since the VA awarded me an amount significantly higher than my initial evaluation attests to his expertise and competence. Besides his exemplary understanding of issues relating to the VA and the claim process, I can tell you this man has the highest level of integrity one can hope for. Given that our contemporary culture is rife with gross incompetence in almost every area of professional concern (see my previous reviews) this man far exceeded anything I could have hoped for. Tyler also authored a very powerful and insightful book on the subject, while crisscrossing the U.S. working on behalf of Vets; his book can be found on Amazon if this is of interest to you. Scott was great. His representation in my Divorce and Protection from Abuse order against my ex-wife was excellent. Scott was no nonsense and refreshingly direct in providing legal advice. My ex-wife wanted to be primary parent of my 10 year old daughter, spousal support, retirement, and me to pay her legal fees for her attorney. She got none of those things and Scott got me sole parental rights and responsiblities for my 10 year old daughter. I can't say enough about how Scott took care of the legal matters for me and my family. He literally save me and my daughters life.
