Do not call this company for your personal injury lawyer. Today marks a year that I have my injury to my leg and it still has not been resolved. I have not been in physical rehab in 7 months. They do not have any lawyers in the area. They sent me to two different law firms because they did not have a lawyer. The law firm that I am with is so trifling. I have not her back from the lawyer or his assistant but once in a year I have been calling and sending text messages every month. I meant to say sending emails. This is horrible. This is trifling. I have no idea what's going on and it's been a year and I want this over and done with. If I am in this boat. I do not want anybody else to get in the same boat that I am with this lawyer company. They do not care about your needs and care about you. They just want to take your money and not give you anything

I called in to explain a particularly egregious landlord retaliation issue and the intake person cared not to listen to understand. Instead they listened to respond and interrupted my explanation to ask questions that would be answered if they just listened. As it is now I would not use Lusk Law until they get someone to do intake that cares about your problems.

I had a very disappointing experience with Karen Amos, who was appointed as the Best Interest Attorney (BIA) for my twins. It became evident that she unfairly favored one child over the other, often disregarding the feelings and well-being of the child who had done nothing wrong. Unfortunately, after only one conversation, one of my children no longer feels comfortable speaking with her, despite her insistence that the child must—this is not a requirement under Maryland law.
Additionally, I found her fixation on superficial aspects, such as repeatedly mentioning the kitchen backsplash during discussions, highly unprofessional and irrelevant to her role. In my opinion, Karen Amos does not maintain the impartiality expected of a BIA and seems to pick sides rather than advocate fairly for both children. Based on my experience, I do not believe she should be appointed to represent any child in the future.

That won’t happen to me, I said, until thirteen months ago, when I found myself on the phone with a domestic violence hotline. That won’t happen to me, I said, until thirteen months ago, when I found myself hurriedly packing a bag and fleeing my home, and boarding an aircraft out of state, because I feared for my life and safety. Fifty years ago, when my mother and her family escaped their war-torn country with nothing but the clothes on their backs and one bag per person due to religious persecution, I never imagined that one day, fifty years into the future, that I too would one day find myself following in her footsteps, quite literally.
I never imagined that I would one day find myself fleeing my home with nothing but the clothes on my back and one small carry-on bag, and boarding a same-day aircraft bound for 1,000+ miles away, because I too feared for my life and safety. Thirteen months ago, when I found myself on the phone with a local domestic violence agency in my state, I never imagined that the proverbial door would get slammed in my face, on the basis that I earned too much money to qualify for any help or support. Since I was born and raised abroad, and with my own family still living halfway around the world, it was in that moment that I truly realized, and that it genuinely sunk in, that I was going to be completely and entirely alone in the process of escaping the cycle of violence.
In 1848, divorce was practically unheard of. Most states had fault-based divorce laws outlining the requirements and criteria permitting divorce: lunacy, adultery, desertion, or cruelty. This meant that couples could only pursue divorce IF they could prove, in a court of law, that one or the other had committed one of these offenses. However, given the laws (or lack thereof) governing women's rights and freedoms at the time, divorce was far more complex for women, as they remained at risk of being unable to regain their last names, unable to retain property acquired prior to their marriage, or unable to obtain custody of their children. These fault-based grounds are in stark contrast to the no-fault system that exists across most states today. Today, after decades of tireless advocacy, and thanks to incredible attorneys like Laurie Wasserman and Virginia Yeoman, people are no longer required to remain shackled to their spouses, and have the freedom to escape the cycle of violence. Thanks to the fabulous support of Laurie and Virginia, I've not only been able to survive, but I am slowly on my way to thriving again. The words "happiness" and "divorce" are the last two words you'd expect to see in the same sentence, but that is exactly what Virginia and Laurie have facilitated for me.

I will gladly share my experience here, as it changed my life. Without going into dramatic details I am a father who cares very much about my son. Helping him develop into a responsible adult is the most important part of my life. Prior to coming to A Team family law that was going to be a impossible task. The facts are that hiring a lawyer is a expensive adventure regardless of the circumstances but Valerie was more than fair with me when it came to charging me for her time. we had initial disagreement with Mr. Patel's office regarding the scheduling. Mr. Patel personally took the matter in hand, and now we just finished the consultation. Linda, Matt, and the rest of the team were extremely helpful with helping me navigate probate for two estates, simultaneously. If you have never had to be an Executor or Personal Representative of an estate, you should seek assistance. In 2022, when I was looking for a family lawyer to represent me in my divorce case, I retained Linda Brown based on all the positive Google reviews I read as well as my initial consultation with her which was very positive. From the time of my separation until my divorce it was almost twenty months, the case being more complicated because of the custody related to my younger son. During that time, there were multiple court hearings, and I must say that Linda has done a phenomenal job in and out of the court room. I was quite impressed with her knowledge of family law and very thankful for the help and legal advice she gave me. She has been a family attorney for many years and is therefore very knowledgeable and experienced. She communicates very well and is very professional in her interactions. Linda also has a good network of professionals that she can refer clients to who may need help with matters outside of family law (i.e. real estate agents, other attorneys, etc.) Her assistant Matt also did an excellent job with preparing and filing several legal court related documents. He also kept me apprised of important dates as well as communicating important matters related to my case. It's been a long journey, but I can say that thanks to Linda, things worked out in my favor. I had a very unfortunate traffic incident several years ago in the state of Maryland. As a result, my Pennsylvania driver’s license was suspended. I had tried several other avenues to get this resolved before finding the Killian Law Firm. Each one led to either a dead end or being treated/spoken to with such disrespect and arrogance that I had almost given up on ever getting this resolved. Then I found this wonderful firm.
