To be clear, I spoke with his assistant Holly most of the time. She was kind, informative, and very helpful whenever we conversed. That being said, it was frustrating when I would not receive a call or text back sometimes until the next day or even the following. Other than that my experience with them was of the utmost professionalism, and quality. Attorney Moritz will tell you the way things are plain and simple. When you speak with John it's short, to the point, and clear of his opinion and intention. You either have a case or you don't. If he thinks you've got something and accepts your case, he intends to win. I've hired him 2 times now and both times he's given me exaclty what I wanted out of my divorce and child custody. He will represent the good fathers who deserve their kids in their life. He will fight for you, and he will win for you. I was a hibitual DUI offender, and hired Mr. Hyde after my third offense. He was able to get me the absolute minimum jail time, and worked it out where I only sat weekends due to my current life situation. He was thorough in trying to find the best possible defense for me, and was able to sway the court in my favor rather than doing a long stint in jail. Hopefully will never need another defense attorney, but if I do.. I know who I’m calling!

Ms. Bommarito was quick to understand my exact situation and explained clearly what outcomes I might expect, and how best to proceed. She and her office responded immediately to any questions I had.
Once in court, even though it was in Marine City, it was clear that she was familiar with the court, Prosecutor and Judge. It was also clear that she had good relationships in this court. She made sure I was well prepared for all of my interactions with the court. She negotiated a plea and represented my interests very well in all proceedings. Gotten into accident 4 and a half years ago and instead of my license being revoked and alot of jail time and not being able to see my family and kids, got everything wiped off my record and now it's all behind me. A St. Patty's day slip up led me searching for a legal representative. Based on a friend's experience with this man in particular i contacted him. He was on time to our consultation. He then informed me his rates with the intention of not going to trial. Couple court appearances down the road he then decided it would be best to go to trial. His rate stayed the same therefore hes an honest and serious representative. In the end the case was totally dismissed. On the way out he then said, "A win for you is a win for me". Even though it was a insignificant case he handled it with total proessionalism and confidence. Made me feel alot more comfortable knowing he was there. 12/10 would recommend to anyone seeking legal advice/ representation.

I have contacted Mr. Yaldo several times regarding various condominium related issues.
Each time, I was either guided or equipped with the right information to resolve the problem quickly.
Most recent, another condo issue that I wasn’t able to remedy on my own. Mr. Yaldo took the bull by the horns and had things resolved to my satisfaction in no time.

I've been an expert witness for 14 years. I recently sat through an entire trial with Scott. I've seen more attorneys than the average person (dozens) arguing cases. He won hands down getting a substantial judgement in favor of his client going the extra mile every step of the way. I'm getting nothing for this review and now live in another state so I am not looking forward to future business from Scott, rather I'm being totally sincere and disinterested. He's truly a gifted litigator and comes across to the jury in a way I've never seen before. He didn't even refer me on this case rather I was already an acquaintance of his client who hired me directly herself.

I strongly recommend Michael Reeds. I hired Mke Reeds in May 2019 when I was forced to deal with a criminal transgression. Not only is he knowledgeable with laws, he also presents himself in a very professional manner in the courtroom. He is very respected by his peers and maintains an impressive demeanor. When I first met with Mr. Reeds he immediately put my fears and concerns to rest. He was extremely empathetic and caring. He was always available for my questions and was very prompt in delivering and communications with the prosecution. He is detail oriented, professional, efficient, encouraging and truly helped me feel at ease during that trying time. I knew my transgression was serious, I shared my need to get help yet he believed in me. I talked to serval attorneys before finding Mike Reeds and was told that I was going to be charged as a habitual by every attorney, and was told that it was very unlikely of avoiding jail time. If you want an honest lawyer, you found the one! I can't tell you how many lawyers I spoke with, that just tried to scare me about charges.
Jessica absolutely did not try to scare me. She did not try to empty my pockets. She did not put an inch of doubt in my head! She is competent and kind. Dennis Shimmell is knowledgeable and fights for his clients with a fierce passion. He offers great advice and is respectful without being fake. He helped me regain custody of my children and increase received child support. I will say that oftentimes judge’s dockets are busy and because of mandatory legal wait times, your case can’t be resolved right away. However, Attorney Shimmell will continue to work on your case and push to get it resolved in a timely manner. He is professional and abides by the legal ethical codes and therefore will not advise the opposing party. In my experience he does work with the opposing counsel well to help reach a fair resolution, if possible. I will always go back to Shimmell Law Offices for any of my legal needs.

I am almost fifty years old and have never had a run in with the law. I had a very serious case in which jail time was on the table and had Karen not been my lawyer, I couldn't have said that I wouldn't serve time. I was facing two felonies and a misdemeanor. Her experience and knowledge was a must with my case and her work ethic for me was next to none. She's very easy to talk to and someone that's very genuine, honest, trustworthy, and understanding. Mike has a desire to be successful in his services and representing myself. This was first demonstrated to me when Mike did his research on me to determine if I was being honest with him in the beginning. When he was certain that he was given all the correct facts, he took on the case. I really appreciated this, because when he accepted my case, he was committed to it and to me. Mike would review every aspect with me and explain the alternatives including the potential cost impacts with the various options before proceeding. Mike dealt professionally with everything that needed to be addressed. He discussed the issues with me and listened to what I had to say without making any pre-judgments. Mike would summarize the issues well and keep to the facts even though the other party attempted to “rabbit trail” at every opportunity. My “after-divorce” problems continued for years as the other party would continually challenge the final order. Even in this, Mike dealt professionally and worked to keep my interests protected. Mike is a professional individual that is first looking for a mutual agreement in a divorce but when a mutual agreement is not obtainable, he worked aggressively for my interests.

I will be honest here. After lending credit to pay the debts of a friend nearly twenty years ago, and then that person failing to pay me back, I found myself in more debt than was manageable.

We hired Barry on the recommendation of our attorney, who had a conflict and could not represent us for a specific hearing. Barry took us on as clients and immediately understood a very complex case and the seriousness of the issues of the hearing. He treated us like we were longstanding clients (even though we had just met) and listened to and responded to every one of our communication in a way that showed he is “all-in” for his clients when he takes a case.
