They handled a major custody issue with me, my ex-husband and my kids. I worked specifically with Alexandra Michelson and her team. She was efficient , thorough and empathic to clearly highly emotional situation, she knows the laws and she and her team were prepared and organized especially the days of trial. I was so relieved to be working with someone I could trust to make sure my kids and I could be safe and have someone on our side of the table working with us for the best outcome of my family. I am so grateful for this law firm and their entire team! She knew the system and the folks in the judicial system to make sure we had all we needed to present ourselves in court fairly and concisely. Thank you to this entire team.

Do not recommend this mediator. He was recommended from the Lawyer of my Wife that he was a reputable, professional, and affordable mediator. I felt the exact opposite. I never once raised my voice to the man. Where he screamed at me and swore at me twice to the point where my mom had to walk in from another room because she was worried about how the conversation was going and how I was being talked to by this man. When the man realized that he had been witnessed talking to me in such an unprofessional matter he completely changed his tune and started singing my praises and telling me that I was such a smart negotiator and a bunch of other stuff. Would not recommend this mediator it felt like he was in cohoots with my wife's attorney the entire time because he kept pushing me to settle for whatever my wife and her attorney were trying to get from me. It felt very unprofessional and the swearing and the screaming at me when I never raised my voice once to him was completely uncalled for.

I wish I could give zero stars. Mary Fenske completely robbed me and then tried saying I owed more money in the end. I went to treatment and their lawfirm used that as an opportunity to screw me over. She did not help me with a single thing and was rude and aggressive the entire time I worked with her. Their receptionist is also one of the most disrespectful people I've ever met. This lawfirm only cares about money, not the people coming to them for help.

Would rate a zero if possible I do not recommend hiring Dennis Simpson to represent you. We hired him for an estate process, and he told us, during the process, that we were lucky to get anything, since we were STEP CHILDREN. Dennis did not represent us thru the process, he was just a YES man to the other lawyer. We prepaid for his service when it was supposedly close to being finished, and then it really got bad. We no longer get answers to emails sent, asking questions about the case. (Now 3 years later and not finished.) Best advice I can give, is find another lawyer, and don't waste your money or time. A lot of money spent for nothing. I have really lost faith in the system and how this firm allows someone to stay on, that does not do what he is paid for. Only after the money! Hoping this helps so no one else gets ripped off and unrepresented!

My case is almost over and Gail has ghosted me. This after postponing or being late for meetings, not following up for several days, and failing to deliver work by her own promised deadlines. Other reviews indicate that this is a trend, I should have paid closer attention before I wasted my money on an incomplete case. Wildly unprofessional.

My dad and I hired Gail to advocate for an OFP. We were on a low money and price seemed right. She showed up to court and pulled out nothing more than an empty yellow note pad. My ex-wife dropped all charges and for some reason we did not pursue a counterattack. We were able to combat allegations directly that day with perjury. Gail was visibly nervous. I noticed her fidgeting her pen and paper, and I had to speak up for myself on two occasions. The children ended up remaining with the ex-wife and 1 year later CPS had to get involved for their safety. I would not recommend this lawyer for loved ones.

Gail Mattey has been a phenomenal attorney in my divorce/domestic abuse/child custody situation. My children were with-held from me for over three months, and after a very stressful court hearing I was almost immediately able to pick them up from their father and bring them back home. She has been a godsend for me and my case. Gail is very down to earth, and easy to talk to. Although she is very kind and compassionate, she is a force to be reckoned with.

Ann was able to negotiate and represent me exactly how you would want a family law attorney to. She didn't mess around and was tough but also lead me to make reasonable decisions and think clearly. I couldn't be happier with the results I had all because off Ann! I got full custody of my daughter which was most important to me. Ann worked relentlessly for us. I will always be thankful for her coming into our life!

Ann was great to work with and I would highly recommend her for any family law matter. She is very intelligent, knows family law well and was always responsive to me if I had questions or needed advice. If I left her a message or emailed her, she would get back to me within a very reasonable time period. I knew she had court appearances, other clients, etc. and would respond as soon as she was able to do so. I was very impressed with her skills in dealing with the opposing attorney and the Judge. She was respectful of them, yet asserted herself if the need arose. It appeared that she was well respected in the legal community. I would highly recommend her to any one with a family law matter and definitely would use her again if I needed a family law attorney.

We talked with Jessica at a free help center and she gave us a lot of good advice as we were doing a speedy court date. The day before court we started to panic that we were not doing things right in a custody case to get our grandson as we heard from other people that it's very hard to get custody of a grandchild. We called Jessica and she made the time to see us and took our case. We went to court quite a few times and in the end we got full legal, sole custody of our grandson. So I truly believe that if we did not get Jessica on our side we would not of won. She went the extra mile for us and we thank her from the bottom of our heart that she helped make another child safe.

This was my first experience with any lawyer/law issue - Michelle and her team did an excellent job training and helping me through this. Michelle was very straight forward on what to expect with the initial consultation, negotiated extremely well throughout the entire (almost) 2 year process. Amanda is amazing as well. She did fantastic work, quickly responded and was extremely reassuring. As a team they did a great job handling my case. Negative reviews stated that people were frustrated by the lack of response. I will say initially I was frustrated myself, but Michelle and Amanda reminded me that I pay for them to read my emails/answer my phone calls and respond. So know that they are working on it when it needs to be worked on to help prevent excessive charges to you!! They got me involved when I needed to be and kept me updated as there were updates. I was very happy that I had Michelle and Amanda with me to help me through the worst couple years of my life.

Giving 1 star because there's no option for 0. Stacy Wright is highly disrespectful and unprofessional. She was my father's attorney for 18 years, unfortunately he passed, and I had some questions. She started screaming at me, at the top of her lungs, out of no where. She wouldn't let me get a word in and was calling me disrespectful names. For someone who should be considered a professional, she definitely wasn't one. If you're looking for someone caring and to show empathy DON'T go to her.

My lawyer Jersey 2,5 years ago asked me to write my story, and he let me write in Russian by pan on notebook. I spent about two months to write my stories. And he didn’t read my story at all. He didn’t know my story until in one week before my court. He didn’t announce me about my court date, after than he didn’t answer my call. Secretary was so neglected, and arrogant. He also took 410$ for work permit and made a mistake several times so I had gotten the permit in 1,5 years.

Karen England represented my ex-wife in court for child support and failed to get any money from a father that had no legal representation. So, she took a roundabout way and went to Wabasha county social services and had child support forced on me. It is really sad that a father that watched & cared for his kids, witch documented everything for 13 years can win a court battle but lose a few months later, because she manipulated the local government. I have been divorced for 13 years and I have been building myself back up taking care of three children and she has destroyed it in the last 13 months.

My cousin and I both had Kelly as our attorney, my case was a divorce, my cousin's was a child support case. I found Kelly from a recommendation by a co-worker, and I was not at all sure what to expect from her or the process, but I am so glad that I contacted her. My ex dragged the case out, paid his attorney huge fees to file needless documents, and generally made my life, and our kids' lives, suck for quite a while. Kelly cut past all of that, kept me focused when I was on the verge of falling apart, was efficient and knew the county and the process very well. My cousin's case was shorter and less traumatic, but we both felt that Kelly did a great job and did not waste our money with busywork.

Made me feel worthless for having judicare and that I should be thanking her for her services. (Rude) Showed up 5 minutes before court, never met her before that, not time to prepare. I had her on speaker phone so my coworkers could listen to her as she said I was 'arguing' but I was only trying to tell her papers I was served. She never found that out because she didn't listen. I retained Mr. Beaumier in November and started giving him all of my court documents. I had to physically drive up to Two Harbors to gather documents cause he refused to submit himself as my lawyer to the courts until he'd finished the actual motion. It took him about 3 months to file my motion, in that time he continuously charged me to 'review' my case and then charged me to write emails requesting information I'd already given him. When confronted about this he refunded 1 hour of paralegal time, and blamed her, even though a lot of the information had been given directly to him. When we finally got to the early neutral evaluation, I wanted a piece of information that was granted in my arbitration agreement, but he advised to wait until the agreement became an order. I begrudgingly agreed and then after it became an order and I asked about it, he charged me another $700 to read 3 emails each about a paragraph long (in which I tried to assert my rights) and then advised me he wants a larger retainer to go back to court for something I should have had in the first place. Mr. Beaumier shows a complete lack of empathy for his clients and zero desire to actually perform the work you pay him for as he takes on average 1 week to respond to any email and will only correspond via his para, that way you have to pay both of them to type out an email. I cannot recommend to stay away from his practice highly enough.

Mary did not listen to me in my divorce case. I am a retired teacher and her poor approach to dealing with my defense attorney husband resulted in me having to pay him $45,000. My name was spelled wrong in correspondence and my case was confused with other cases. I had requested a name change with the divorce and that did not happen. Fortunately my estate attorney discovered Mary had listed my home’s legal description incorrectly in the divorce decree, which would have been an issue whenever I went to sell it. It took months for Mary to correct HER mistake and then she attempted to charge me for it. I would say the whole process working with Mary was a comedy of errors, except that anyone going through a divorce knows how painful it can be and her ineptitude as an attorney made it so much worse. The divorce was in late 2021 and I’ve just now had the energy to write this. I wish I had the energy to report her to the bar. I regret using her as an attorney and feel sorry for anyone who does.

I hired Andrew Moran through a friend who had had a good experience with him. The good points: He is very good at responding to questions, e-mails, voicemails, and knows the law. The bad points: My case was difficult, and instead of trying to find a way to represent me fairly, he came out and said that the opposing counsel was going to win and while he didn't outright say it, he made statements that made it appear like he was biased and agreeing with the opposing counsel's side, and that I was wrong for wanting to defend myself in what was an uphill battle. I felt "sold out" and things got worse before they got better. I hired a different attorney who turned things around.

I originally hired Ann about 10 years ago for a nasty custody dispute. Ann was professional and kind at a time when I needed it. Ann also did not give me false hope and was completely honest with me. She also can be tough when the situation calls for it. She was able to predict with 100% accuracy of what the judge was likely to decide. It was the worst time of my life and we had a positive outcome. 2 years ago my fiancé and I hired her again, this time for a custody dispute for his daughter. Again Ann was professional, kind and honest. Again we had a positive outcome and gained custody of his daughter. I trust her completely. I used Bill for my divorce. I knew my divorce was going to be complicated as I was dealing with an abusive spouse, teenage children, little to no financial assets, and a spouse who made three times as much money as me. Bill was the third lawyer that I met with and he was the only one who showed me any kind of compassion. Upon hearing my case, he immediately started looking up similar cases and talking about strategy. I hired Bill and have been thankful ever since. He worded the final divorce papers in a way that protected my financial rights; gave my almost graduated teenage children the ability to choose which parent they wanted to stay with; and gave my children the financial support that they deserved. He also helped greatly in the negotiating process with my ex-spouse by being willing to go to court if we were not able to settle the divorce. Prior to meeting with Bill, I used a debt negotiation company to get out of debt. It was a four year long nightmare and upon meeting Bill I refer all my friends who are going through financial hardships or divorces to him.

I hired Lynne to handle my divorce case. I made it clear to her that my primary objective was to keep my kids at home as much as possible. My wife and I had worked out a parenting time schedule in advance, which I was happy with. My only goal was that that schedule should not change. So, our strategy was to not fight the division of assets and debts, as long as it meant keeping the parenting time schedule the same. The divorce decree was signed by the judge in May. I took $450,000 in debt, which included credit cards, student loans (my wife's) and a house that is $200,000 under water. This arrangement made some sense, because my wife was underemployed, making minimum wage and could not afford to take on any of the debt. Yesterday, my ex filed to have the parenting time agreement changed because she got a new job (paying $52,000/yr). There is nothing I can do to stop her. I have spoken to several attorneys who have said that any judge would rule in her favor. However, all of the asset and debt division are indisputable once the decree is signed. Now, I have all of the debt and no kids. Lynne NEVER mentioned that the asset/debt divisions were final, but that the parenting time agreement could change at anytime. She never informed me that this strategy was going to backfire. All my spouse had to do was wait until the decree was signed, go find a job and BOOM! Now I am completely screwed.

In July 2014, I hired Mr. Taylor as my attorney to represent me in my family court matter. I deeply regret hiring Mr. Taylor. Because of his representation, I incurred many negative consequences that I am trying to cope with today. I attempted to resolve my issues with Mr. Taylor, but he refused. I asked the Minnesota Office for Legal Responsibility for help, and they investigated my complaint against Mr. Taylor. My experience with Mr. Taylor is well documented in the complaint of legal misconduct I brought against him with the Minnesota Office for Legal Responsibility, dated September 7, 2017. The Minnesota Office for Legal Responsibility issued a decision of private admonishment. Mr. Taylor is seriously a miracle worker. When I hired him I was denied visitation with my child for 2 very long years. With in a few weeks I had daily phone calls with my daughter. With in two months I was reunited with my daughter and given an parenting plan schedule with over 41% custody. When my daughters mother decided to not follow that schedule we got a court date with in the next month. With out him I still would not have met my daughter. We have a new court date coming up this week but so far I am very thankful for Mr. Taylor. Also, I live in Florida so every part of this other than court has been done via telephone and email. He has done a great job for our family. He is also very responsible with your retainer. I feel like any other lawyer would have eaten up my retainer alot faster but Mr Taylor was very frugal with mine. I would highly recommend him to represent you in a family matter.

Having Mr. Taylor on my legal team is truly a blessing from God. Through his representation of a complicated family law case Mr. Taylor has continuously expressed a level of knowledge, wisdom, truth, honesty and patience beyond exceptional. Although family law cases can seem to last for eternity, take unexpected twists and turns, spark many emotions to surface, etc., Mr. Taylor takes the time to listen and understand his clients while crafting the best possible strategy. Of course every case and situation is different, but if you're in need of an excellent family law attorney I highly recommend you add Mr. Taylor to your team. Thank you Mr. Taylor for representing me in my case. ~ Rich

As a lawyer I often have people come to me for help on matters outside of my subject matter expertise. When I am contacted for family law matters, I refer them to Jonathan Fogel. He has always provided excellent representation and continues to earn my trust each and every time I send someone his way.

I am a real estate agent in the Lake Minnetonka area. I have had the opportunity to work with Haugan Law office on both personal transactions and business transactions. In my personal transactions, Todd Haugan has worked diligently to close several transactions in a timely manner. Todd has also stepped in where legal representation was necessary and was able to bring the issues to a favorable outcome. I have also worked with Todd on many short sale transactions. Mr. Haugan was diligent about making sure our clients received a full release of deficiency and satisfaction of all mortgages. On a few occasions, the bank was not willing to cooperate in the short sale but once Mr. Haugan stepped in, we were able to close the sale with no further obligation to the client. I appreciate his tenacity and dedication to helping his clients and would definitely recommend him and his firm. Christine Coldwell

He was unprofessional, difficult to deal with and sneaky. I wouldn't recommend Todd Haugan to anyone. He is not worth the fees he charges...especially due to his lack of concern for me as his client or my case. Horrible experience with him. I'm not surprised he was previously suspended. I wish I would have checked him out further. He seems professional and knowledgable until you retain him. Then he shows his true colors and its not pretty.

Had her type up 100 words in order to turn in a stipulated order for parenting time which took her three months and charged $400 for a piece of paper that I could've done myself. Very slow worker and her response rate was terrible. During the period she had went on vacation without giving me any notice. I would not recommend her to anyone and will be turning her into the bar.

Tom was almost a miracle worker with the outcome I got from a criminal matter that could have cost me my career and freedom. He is an up front, no nonsense, take the bull by the horns type of attorney. He treats his client and the other attorneys with respect. He knows the law! He knows how to work it to his client's advantage. My phone calls were always answered within 24 hours. I would recommend Mr. Lies for criminal matters and have spoken to clients who have had him represent them on family issues and they were pleased.

The name should say it all LIES. As a vulnerable adult recovering from an emotional breakdown, Mr. Lies went behind my back and made a deal with the Respondents attorney and signed everything I spent 20 years working for and left me penniless, no place to live and no personal property. When I objected in the court room Mr. Lies told me to sit down and shut up or he would have me removed from the court room and institutionalized. Mr. Lies was suppose to be looking out for me and my best interest. Mr. Lies was looking out for his best interest and padding his pocket book. I have spent 2 years trying to reclaim the damage Mr. Lies has done. Everything that I told Mr. Lies would happen did happen. Then when the Respondents attorney drafted the order to be signed by the judge it did not reflect what was read into the order. Mr. Lies signed the document with our reading it, he told me. Mr. Lies does not care about the client.

I hired at the tail end of a difficult case to preserve my appellate rights. She took my original case filed and rather than copy and return, kept it. She came unprepared to my primary trial and forced me to withdraw my primary case. She never explained the second part of the case nor gave me guidance. Then with no notice she withdrew 6 days prior to trial. She refused to provide me anything from the date she was retained, nor would she bring me up to speed. Knowing I would ask for a continuance, after she withdrew, she emailed the judge and opposing counsel disparaging me. At trial the Judge would not grant a continuance so I had to proceed with no time to prepare and none of my exhibits as she had not returned them. I had to waste an entire day I needed to prepare to subpoena my primary witness, and they told me at trial my attorney kept talking to them, told them they could ignore the time period I requested a review of. I believe it is against the law for her to keep interfering with my case, and a breach of attorney client confidentiality. Stay far away from her if you value your case.

The dedication and intelligence needed for our case was not lacking in the least. We needed an advocate, we made a friend. Our family law case involved numerous court dates and correspondences between the parties of which Mary aided in clarifying what was important when. We may not have always agreed on the direction but by following her advice, as she was more knowledgeable in the arena than we were, we are grateful for her tenacity. If experience and willingness to "find out" is essential, then consider having Mary sitting beside you taking the notes.

In my opinion, this lawyer is NOT trustworthy at all. We had agreed on a flat fee for paper works and requests. He went against his words and decided to charge me more than what we had verbally agreed on. If you decide to work with this guy, make sure everything is on paper first before he takes advantage of you. This guy sure doesn't hesitate to take advantage of people.

What a Family Law Lawyer Can Do for You

A family law lawyer provides legal services related to family relationships, including marriage, divorce, child custody, and adoption. Family lawyers help clients navigate emotionally charged legal issues, providing guidance and representation in disputes that affect spouses, children, and parents. Whether you're going through a divorce, seeking custody of your children, or drafting a prenuptial agreement, a family law lawyer ensures your rights are protected and your interests are represented.

Family law attorneys often handle sensitive matters and offer objective legal advice, helping clients reach fair outcomes either through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

When Should I Hire a Family Law Lawyer?

Hiring a family law lawyer is beneficial in several situations, especially when legal matters involve close personal relationships. Common reasons to hire a family law lawyer include:

  • Divorce or separation: When ending a marriage, a lawyer can help you navigate issues such as division of assets, spousal support, and child custody arrangements.
  • Child custody and visitation disputes: If you and your co-parent can't agree on custody or visitation, a lawyer can represent your interests and work toward a solution that benefits your children.
  • Child support: Whether you’re seeking child support or defending against a claim, a lawyer can help ensure the appropriate amount is calculated and enforced.
  • Prenuptial or postnuptial agreements: A lawyer can help draft or review agreements that protect your assets in case of divorce.
  • Adoption: Family law lawyers guide you through the legal process of adoption, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Domestic violence or restraining orders: If you're a victim of domestic violence or being falsely accused, a lawyer can help you obtain or challenge protective orders.
  • Paternity cases: If there are questions about the paternity of a child, a lawyer can help establish or dispute legal fatherhood.

Hiring a lawyer early can prevent issues from escalating, and they can offer you the best chance of achieving a favorable outcome in emotionally charged situations.

What Does a Family Law Lawyer Do?

A family law lawyer provides a wide range of services depending on your specific legal needs. Their responsibilities may include:

  • Advising on legal rights and options: Helping you understand your legal rights regarding divorce, child custody, support, and other family law issues.
  • Filing legal documents: Drafting and filing petitions, motions, and agreements with the court, such as divorce papers, custody agreements, or support orders.
  • Representing clients in court: Arguing your case in front of a judge if a settlement can’t be reached through negotiation or mediation.
  • Mediation and negotiation: Assisting with alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, to reach agreements on issues like custody, property division, and support without going to trial.
  • Enforcing court orders: Helping you enforce court orders related to child support, alimony, or custody if the other party fails to comply.
  • Drafting prenuptial or postnuptial agreements: Creating agreements that protect your assets in the event of a divorce.
  • Handling adoption proceedings: Ensuring that the legal process of adoption is followed, from filing paperwork to finalizing the adoption in court.

How Are Family Law Lawyers Paid?

Family law lawyers typically charge clients in one of several ways, depending on the complexity of the case and the lawyer’s experience. Common payment arrangements include:

  • Hourly rates: Most family lawyers charge by the hour, with rates varying based on experience and location. Clients are billed for the time spent working on their case, including consultations, court appearances, and document preparation.
  • Flat fees: For more straightforward legal services, such as drafting a prenuptial agreement or handling an uncontested divorce, some lawyers offer flat-fee arrangements.
  • Retainer fees: In cases that are expected to require significant time and attention, such as contentious custody battles, a lawyer may charge a retainer, which is an upfront payment that covers the initial costs of legal services. The lawyer then bills against the retainer as they work on your case.

The exact cost will depend on the complexity of your case and the lawyer’s fee structure, which should be discussed upfront.

How Much Does a Family Law Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a family law lawyer varies based on factors such as the lawyer's experience, the location, and the complexity of your case. Here are some general cost guidelines:

  • Hourly rates: Family law lawyers typically charge between $150 and $500 per hour, depending on their experience and the complexity of the case.
  • Flat fees: For simpler cases, such as drafting a prenuptial agreement or handling an uncontested divorce, fees may range from $1,000 to $5,000.
  • Retainers: For more complex matters, such as contested divorces or custody battles, lawyers may charge a retainer ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 or more. The lawyer will bill against the retainer for the work they do on your case.
  • Additional costs: You may also be responsible for additional costs, such as filing fees, mediation fees, or expert witness fees.

Always ask for a clear breakdown of the lawyer’s fees and any additional expenses during your consultation.

Top Questions to Ask a Family Law Lawyer

Before hiring a family law lawyer, it's important to ask questions to ensure they're the right fit for your case. Here are key questions to ask during your consultation:

  1. What experience do you have with family law cases like mine?
Make sure the lawyer has experience handling cases similar to yours, whether it's a contested divorce, child custody dispute, or adoption.
  2. How will you charge for your services?
Clarify whether the lawyer charges by the hour, a flat fee, or requires a retainer. Ask for an estimate of the total costs involved.
  3. What are the possible outcomes of my case?
An experienced lawyer should be able to give you a general idea of what to expect based on the facts of your case.
  4. What is your approach to resolving disputes?
Ask whether the lawyer tends to favor negotiation and mediation or whether they prefer to take cases to court. This can help you determine if their style matches your goals.
  5. How long do you expect my case to take?
While it’s difficult to predict, the lawyer should give you an estimate based on similar cases.
  6. Who will be handling my case?
In larger firms, junior attorneys or paralegals may do much of the work, so make sure you understand who will be your main point of contact.

How to Check the Credibility of a Family Law Lawyer

To ensure you're hiring a reputable family law lawyer, follow these steps to verify their credentials and reputation:

  • Check state bar association records: Verify that the lawyer is licensed to practice in your state and is in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Look for reviews on websites like Avvo, Google, or Martindale-Hubbell. Previous clients can give you insight into the lawyer’s professionalism and success in family law cases.
  • Request references: Ask the lawyer for references from past clients who can speak to their experience with the lawyer.
  • Review their website or professional profile: Look at the lawyer’s background, case history, and areas of focus to ensure they have substantial experience in family law.
  • Look for professional memberships: Membership in reputable organizations, such as the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), can indicate a lawyer's expertise and dedication to family law.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To get the most out of your first consultation with a family law lawyer, it’s important to come prepared. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Relevant documents: Bring any documents related to your case, such as marriage certificates, prenuptial agreements, financial records, custody agreements, or court orders.
  • List of assets and debts: For divorce cases, prepare a detailed list of all assets (e.g., homes, bank accounts, retirement funds) and debts (e.g., mortgages, loans, credit card balances).
  • Details of the family issue: Provide a written summary of the situation, including key dates and facts related to your divorce, custody dispute, or support issue.
  • Questions for the lawyer: Write down any questions you have about the legal process, costs, and potential outcomes.
  • Your goals: Be prepared to discuss your objectives, such as custody arrangements, property division, or spousal support, so the lawyer understands your priorities.

Being organized and clear about your situation will help the lawyer evaluate your case more effectively and offer the best advice for moving forward.
