Ed handled my initial divorce, and a few years later, handled my case again when there was an attempt to modify the custody and support settlement. Through the course of three pre-trial conferences, he kept me informed and gave excellent counsel. At the end of the third conference, we attempted to make a settlement offer, which was denied. We ended up going to trial. I wasn't all that excited it went so far, though that was due to the other involved party and not Ed. When we got to court, Ed was extremely prepared. We had so much information available for the judge to review, significantly moreso than the other party. And when it came to questioning the involved parties, I felt Ed did an excellent job of getting to the point, asking the most important and relevant questions. The judge found completely in our favor, and I know that had everything to do with how well prepared Ed was, and how he presented all the information in court. I would highly recommend Ed.

Ed took over as my divorce attorney when I was not happy with my previous one. He immediately knew what had to be done. I was so confused with divorce laws, it's proceedings, the language and Ed Gilkerson was attentive and put me at ease with his ability to explain in terms for me to understand. Joan is efficient, fast, time-conscious and very cost effective. I hired Hallie for custody issues with my child who was in 2nd grade at the time. The issues turned out to be very in-depth and complicated. Hallie was always prepared at every turn. When we needed to bring professionals in, Hallie had excellent recommendations who were very good and well qualified. I had worked with several different attorneys in the past that were not able to do for my family what Hallie did.
Separately, I also hired Hallie for a divorce. With Hallies help and guidance we were able to keep it an uncontested divorce and for my situation that has proved to work out very well. Now, my ex and I are able to coparent very effectively and our 2 young children are very happy and doing very well in their lives. Hiring Mrs. Cosmo is the best choice I’ve ever made. She help me gain custody of my oldest daughter. She is very professional, patient, outgoing, and was understanding towards every situation that I spoke to her about. It was very stressful going through the whole trial process but Mrs, Cosmo reassured me every step of the way. We ended trial with me having full custody so custody of my daughter and till this day Mrs. Cosmo still helps me and gives me advice on what to do for certain situation having to deal with my daughters mother. Mrs. Cosmo is very family oriented and she always gets back to me in a timely manner. I do have another daughter with someone else and I will most likely **highly** go back to Mrs. Cosmo for that order as well. I was going through a custody/ child support battle with my ex husband. The lawyer I had could no longer work on my case and referred me to Dana. It was very short notice but Dana stepped up and met me at our first court date. We discussed how things would go from there and she assured me that she would take care of everything. She stayed on top of the case while making sure to update me every step of the way. Due to her great diligence my case was dismissed.
