he backstory is that my daughter's mother decided to move away and tried to take my daughter across the country away from me for no reason other than she wanted to move. I was involved in a long-term mess with my ex-spouse. Making matters worse, my ex-spouse’s attorney was non-responsive and extremely slow to do anything. I hired Bruce and the change was immediate. The day after I retained him, he sent letters and started the process of getting the case moving along. He also let me know the realistic outcomes that we may face along the way. Even more telling, he went above and beyond to let me know the best way to handle the matter so I was not spending too much money. His honesty, knowledge, and preparation was beyond my expectations. We had one court appearance and we achieved all of what we were going for. You could even tell Bruce has a great reputation as it seemed the judge was more inclined to listen to his position. When opposing counsel became desperate and began threatening us, Bruce responded immediately and let me know if it was anything we had to worry about. I can’t recommend him and his firm enough. They ended a 15-month nightmare and did so in a fair manner.

The last thing a person needs to know in life is that they need an attorney. It is scary and stressful. When I called Patrick King, he helped me over the phone to resolve my issue. He never charged me for the phone advice and I think I called him 2 times about it. He told me how to construct a letter to send and he made me feel a lot better about the problem I was facing. We recently updated our estate documents with Laury Macauley, Esq. We have had trusts for over four decades and have worked with a number of attorneys over the years. After moving to Reno Nevada, a community property state, we needed an update. We contacted a number of estate attorneys. Almost all had 60+ page boiler plate trust templates into which they inserted relevant individualized information but most of these bloated documents had information that does not and never will be relevant to us. Such large trusts are cumbersome and inefficient since during settlement, parties must read everything to be sure something important is not missed. We wanted a more personalized straightforward trust which eliminated all the bloat, unnecessary legal jargon, generation skipping wording, minor dependents, dependent trusts, etc. etc.
Laury agreed to work with us to accomplish what we wanted…estate documents relevant to our situation written in a straightforward manner. In the end our very comprehensive trust is 22 pages long. We found her to be bright, helpful, knowledgeable and ethical. She was among a very few lawyers willing to help us create what WE wanted rather than something off the shelf. This took extra time so the process did extend over 2 months but we are extremely pleased. We would definitely recommend Ms. Macauley without reservation to others.

My high-conflict Ex had Filed for Divorce just as the Pandemic started and we went on Lock-down. I had questions because I didn't know if I even needed a lawyer. Alex was dogged in her pursuit of my Green Card during the "Name Check" stall period 2006/7. During this time the INS were sitting on over 250,000 applications for Permanent Residence that had passed all the hurdles except the post 9/11 background check, "Name Check". The Federal Government "system" at that time was totally inadequate to deal with the volume and was causing delays and hardship to many. We were on the verge of taking the Federal Government to court when they relented and granted not only my Green Card, but also Permanent Resident status to thousands of others in the broken system. I know that Alex had been successful in court with other cases before mine and I had confidence that she would be successful for me, too. She will be dealing with my citizenship application shortly.

A divorce judgement that needed to be moved to Nevada, alimony in arrears and current alimony all had to be resolved. I could not have asked for a better firm than what I found at Christopher Tilman's office. The interactions I had with Kathy and Paulina were excellent and calming. You’ll trust him immediately. He knows how to calm you down and joke a bit at times but get serious at times when it’s required.
You can tell immediately he doesn’t “need” your business. Zero salesmanship. He is priced well below others who will smile, schmooze, then disappear as soon as the check clears.
Ted helped me with a DUI. My second. I paid my first attorney more than 5X Ted’s fee (for a simpler case). Ted spent at least 5X more time with me and he seemed much more prepared. The results were as good as possible with the circumstances and Ted could certainly charge a lot more (which I’m certain he knows). That’s just not how he rolls. Total class act.
Ted was referred to me by a mutual friend who is also an attorney and I’m so grateful I bit the bullet and told my friend the circumstances - it was worth the mild embarrassment for a top notch attorney.

Mr. Williams is the only lawyer I ever heard of who gives you honest advice even if that means he will not get your business. My nephew was in big trouble and instead of trying to charge my family thousands of dollars, he advised us to stay with our public defender who Mr. Williams knew and said was an excellent attorney. I've heard that Mr. Williams is kind of rich so he does not need to rip people off like other lawyers do.

I met Mr Anello the day after a DUI arrest. I was feeling hopeless going into the office but during the meeting he explained what was going on with my case and my options so I left feeling confident that I had a good competent attorney. Along with the DUI charges we also discussed how the arrest could effect a family law case that I was involved in at the time and his knowledge about those matters were a huge help to me. I only had to meet with him twice before choosing a plan that worked for my personal situation to move forward with my life without spending years in court or becoming financially exhausted. At the end of my case, the results were better than I initially expected so I was very satisfied with Mr. Anello’s work on my case. We hired one of the immigration lawyer to seek legal help on our case and he didn’t pay good attention to renew the visa process and almost going to be out of status.
We were stuck in fight or flight situation and the attorney was not handling properly.
We had some questions that only experienced lawyer could answer.
No lawyer would answer anything until you had paid for a consultation.
I called Dee and despite of her busy schedule, she called us back and gives us the legal advice.

Kim Surratt is not only a great lawyer, she's a good person. She walked me through the hell that was my divorce, counseled me through the difficult decisions about the children, custody, child support, etc. and helped keep from going crazy when everything in my life was upside down. Divorces suck. There's no way around that. Having someone on my side that was empathetic to what I was going through, but was able to maintain a business mind about the whole thing was crucial to me making good decisions and not fighting just to fight because I was pissed. I've been back several times because of custody issues, and she's helped me navigate the ridiculousness of a crazy ex who happens to be the mother of my kids. I honestly don't think anyone could have done a better job.

At first I thought I could represent myself in my custody trial. After finding out the hard way after a couple of the hearings, how stressful and emotional it is, I decided to find a lawyer to represent me. After a few different consultations, I found that Mike (who was referred to me by a friend who also had won her case while being represented by Mike) really was the most honest & ethical out of the ones I interviewed. He was completely honest with me in regards to expectations, and I could definitely tell his knowledge from his years and years of experience. I decided to go with Mike, and I couldn't be any happier. Fast forward a year and a half later, we won our case. To top it off, his assistant, Danay, is really the nicest and best.
