I hired Brian Lattimer to terminate a permanent alimony obligation.
I interviewed four attorneys as part of my process. Brian proved to be competent, realistic and calm. He understands the emotional turmoil that you go through in an adversarial conflict as well as what needs to happen on the legalside. My case was settled in mediation, with a fair settlement that permanently ended the obligation. I highly recommend Brian. He is a competent attorney and a genuinely caring person.

Brian is a great attorney that guided me expertly and skillfully throughout my divorce. Brian was actually my second attorney, after my first attorney failed to meet my expectations.
He was always available for questions, and answered them knowledgeably and thoroughly. He quickly responded to anyissues arising from the court or the other side, and treated each issue with great care.
Brian was able to negotiate a final settlement agreement that I could live with. Having to pay your cheating ex wife money for breaking your marriage is never fun, but Brian skillfully negotiated probably the best possible outcome for me given the circumstances of the current laws.
Overall I greatly recommend Brian to anybody going through divorce and would hire him again if I ever need a divorce lawyer again (which is hopefully never).

As you will agree, preparing and filing for divorce is a difficult and stressful time. Finding a good and trustworthy lawyer is critical and equally daunting. After 28 years of marriage I was very much there. I selected two lawyers based on strong reviews. Left a message for both. Jason called back in less than 5 minutes. He took time to listen to my case and patiently addressed all my questions. We had a follow-up call. Again, he was calm, thorough and took time to set very clear expectations of what was to come. I decided to go with him. Over the coming months, Jason always made time for me, never once rushed me, always proactive and continued to respond within minutes, even to my non-urgent emails over the weekend and while on vacation. From a skill perspective he is exemplary, providing guidance and consistently striking that balance between being empathetic and offering fact-based guidance. He was always quick to tell me if my expectations were too high or let me know if I was giving too much. He was my counsel and shrink, sometimes just listening and at other times offering guidance and support. So many things can go wrong with this process, so many uncontrollable elements but with his diligent approach and stellar communication, Jason maintained credibility and control. Right to the end, there were no surprises, at least not in a bad way! From the time I signed to the video call for final judgement of divorce, I felt supported and knew exactly what to expect. Following his advice, I feel that the entire process was smooth and fair. Jason is kind, empathetic, effective and incredibly trustworthy. We are grandparents. Our son died in 2018. Our daughter-in-law was arrested for DUI and endangerment. We had to seek emergency custody. We needed to fight for joint custody to ensure our grandson was safe, well educated, and properly cared for. Pete was responsive, fought hard, and guided us through a very messy court case. We were successful and now have a joint custoday agreement with residential custody. We are very grateful we found Pete. He was always assessable and responded incredibly quickly. He even returned emails on weekends and at night. His office staff in very supportive, kind, and responsive. We have no doubt our journey with our daughter-in-law is not over. We will be using Pete in the future to help us protect our grandson and ourselves.

I am extremely happy with the legal services Stephanie and her firm provided to me as I was going through a divorce.
From initial consultation, through to representation and successful resolution of my matter, Stephanie and her staff provided outstanding legal guidance, support, and encouragement. Stephanie was always aware of the “person” she was helping, not just seeing them as a “client”- adding a personal element to her work that was both refreshing and greatly appreciated.
She and her staff handled my matters timely, expertly, and always kept me fully informed of what was happening with my case. Stephanie was also readily available for any questions, responding personally and promptly by email or phone on several occasions.
The firm’s fees were, in my opinion, reasonable and were always clearly explained.

Going through a divorce is a difficult and emotional process but with her at my side every step of the way, I made it through AND got ALMOST if not everything I requested in my MSA.

So I have waited a while to write this review because even after divorce, Irene and Val continue to support me in difficult situations. When I came to their office, I spoke to many attorneys that continued to tell me to wait on things to go through mediation. I decided to listen but after multiple people told me I was out of discovery to move forward with a child custody evaluation, I decided to speak to Irene. Irene, as explained in every review, is an amazing person. She is a mother, wife, and attorney. Its because of this she was very understanding as to all aspects of my situation and helped me though the process in every step of the way. I think it's important to understand that what makes a good divorce attorney is Obviously their education and experience, but to have an attorney that listens to your specific situation and know every way to navigate your divorce and explain the best approach for you is what is truly amazing. You can go out and find some cut throat good attorney but that's not going to help you in this process. I am thankful I found her when I did because I believe I wouldn't have been heard and my life would look a whole lot differant right now.
In the middle of my case, Val stepped in and she's been helping me ever since. Val is another attorney that was on my case and again, she is amazing. Always on top of things, read all my emails on a daily basis, and responded to everything that needed immediate attention. Going to mediation, I walked in thinking nothing was going to get accomplished. I continued wanting to just give up everything to get it over with. Val supported me through the final settlement and stood up for me during those times. Always advising me on everything and speaking up against any ridiculous requests. Val turns the impossible into possible. Another way to say this, she turns ridiculous into reasonable.
The main point I want to covey here, if you are looking around for an attorney, you are trying to be reasonable and the other person is looking to take everything they can from you, you found the right firm. They have all 5 stars and all of them are earned. Thank you all for everything you have done and continue doing.

I have to say though not the situation I ever wanted myself to be in William was beyond amazing. He was always in more corner through my divorce. Not only did he close my case in 60 days, he walked me through everything. I hired another attorney and that was a mistake, he was able to clean up their mess and end a very bitter divorce. He always seemed to truly care about what was important and not just making a dollar off of me. Sheryl was always there to support me and also not afraid to tell me when I was not taking the right position or giving in too easily. No-one wants to go through a divorce but having Sheryl and her team on my side made the process more bearable. Genevieve Blazini is a wonderful individual, She was kind and understanding; while also being effective in dealing with my case. In February of 2023 I was hospitalized as a result of a serious accident that required months of
rehabilitation as well as surgery. While hospitalized, I contacted the Starr, Gern, Davidson &

Mr Fridie, really didn’t get anything done. I felt like I could’ve went into the courtroom by myself and came out with the same results and any paperwork, documents that was sent to him he charged me for. Again, I’ve been to family court on my own and seen how it is, I was better off going alone. He allowed the other party to file an amended court order without any fight. His response to me was “he reached out to the judge” I’m still waiting to see the email he sent.

Please be careful with this firm... I don't know what they actually done.. I sent them info on my case.. and Rich was unprepared for court conference.. the judge was obsenely pissed off. Then I got bills for emails that I don't even know if he made because I received no copies of. My matter closed.. and in one of the bills they charged for review of documentation that was allegedly done after matter already closed in court. Secondly, he agreed to payments.. but drafted my bank account $2060 without my authorization.
I just got an email from them that they made a draft.. I reached out to the billing department not allowing them to do that.. but they did it anyways.
Every attorney has a client portal that they upload any emails, letters etc.. but this firm doesn't... so they just bill client for what could be bogus work that they allegedly done...but client has no proof that they did it..
Also, I had to send repeated emails about a certain thing on my case.. which they wouldn't reply.. sent another email about same thing.. and then finally within a week I would get a response.. so yeah I also got charged for those emails.
Bunch of shady crooks.. we'll see if they send me back the check that I sent them prior to the draft..
