I wish I had seen this website before. Mr. Anesi is a very good attorney, trustworthy and conscientious. I have retained Mr. Anesi as my attorney for well over 15 years. He has never let me down!! I hope the client who complained about the hidden surprising fees that were tacked on without any notice, realizes that billing in a law office is usually done by the office manager and not by the attorney, similar to a medical office. I experienced the same billing issue, but being the banker that I am, I discussed the problem with Mr. Anesi. Well, my billing issues went away when his office manager was dismissed! If anything, I think Mr. Anesi was a victim like the rest of us.

Divorce can be horrible process when you have an extremely manipulative ex, who can portray what he/ she is not. Andrew helped me through an extremely complicated and difficult divorce, fighting through every unimaginable lies and schemes formulated by my ex and his attorney. He is not only very knowledgeable and professional but a warm and caring person, who guided me and was there for me anytime through the long rough 4 years and even now ( since sometimes things never really end). He is now a friend and a guide and I would highly recommend him and Ivy any day.

Mr. Wigler did excellent work as the second lawyer of a very difficult and complex divorce case which involved a psychotic judge, a mentally impaired ex wife, and custody. The previous attorney, a partner in a Great Neckfamily law firm which claims to be prestigious, did a horrendous job advising me, the fallout of which greatly harmed my daughter and took two years to fix. Mr. Wigler was instrumental in putting me in a great negotiating position, essential as the court system (regrettably) was not helpful.

I hired Betty for my family petition, while F2A was recent.
PROs: She guided me at the beginning professionally and helped with the documentation set. She was always responsive to questions
CONs: she filled my income in a wrong way (instead of 0$, she declared by foreign income from 1040) so the application was rejected 2 times. I had to guide her to correct the numbers with my understanding from the forums. While we had these rejections, the bulletin date has retrogressed and we lost our chance to get timely LPR status. She was not aware of retrogression as an immigration lawyer, until i informed her. She told me that we had our documents approved by NVC so retrogression would not affect us, which was also wrong as we did not even had the interview yet. I also had misleading suggestions from her that my family would be denied entry with B1/B2 visa while petition is pending. But they entered US without any problems.
So in overall, i could do everything in a better way following up the discussions and forums myself, instead of spending money for a failed-delayed process.

Betty Huang is a terrific attorney.
A friend referred me to her after my traumatizing first-attempt at applying for the O-1 visa. My old lawyer had utterly disappeared after her negligence with an RFE resulted in my petition being denied due to abandonment.
Ms. Huang, in contrast, is all professionalism. She's also genial, communicative and warm. When I first reached out to her in distress, she made time for me immediately. She took steps to resolve my situation in the short term before we even discussed long-term representation. During this interim period, she treated me like any client and was patient with me.
Betty is extremely well-informed about USCIS—not only with regards to its official rules and customary processing times, but also with its little 'annoyances' and flaws. Her knowledgeability was instrumental towards an expedient re-application, which we accomplished in only a month’s time.
Best of all about Betty, though, is the respect she has for her clients. When Ms. Huang believed that I might have more information on a given topic than she, she deferred to me. As we assembled my petition, she respected my wishes while checking my naiveté. We worked in tandem on my case, to put together something that we both felt good about. The ultimate success of my O-1 petition was due in no small part to this symbiotic approach towards legal representation.

We had a fairly civil divorce and decided to have the same attorney represent both of us. That of course is not the best option for everyone but it worked for us. Mr. Nagler was knowledgable, professional, and personable and we met with him in person in his midtown office 3 or 4 times. He was always responsive with us with email and was patient with answering our questions.

From a law firm , maybe again it’s just me but I do not receive any communication with this law firm and anytime you call the line always fail or busy there’s no option for a voicemail ; they even forgot about a payment and had my paperwork in the air not submitted for the last 4 months which honestly is bull shit to the highest level nor be there for the court dates which have been postponing for the last 4 times over a two year span maybe this review they will delay my shit even more and by then I’d prob be deported or something lol I just don’t understand the front desk is super super horrible with communication and I can never get in contact or see the lawyer unless you pounce in randomly some day to see him there , would love to fix this issue as I only
Heard good things about them and was referred from the dad’s operation but as of now I’m super super disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service at Gallagher law firm.

I don’t recommend this lawyer ! Went into this office over a month ago for a consult, two weeks past I didn’t hear anything back from him reached out on several occasions to have the paralegal say i’ll call you back. The communication with this firm is definitely non-professional. I don’t recommend them especially if time is a factor. MR Bernard to this day has not reached out at all to discuss my case. The paralegal she can’t keep up with her own lie’s this is why she’s a paralegal and not an attorney.

I went broke from them always charging My card. They never responded to My concerns only worried about their next payment. Nothing ever changed… I started at a 645, didn’t need much but they didn’t do nothing to better My credit. After a year or so of no improvement, I changed My bank info so they’d stop charging My account for literally not doing nothing!

The best decision I made was hiring Cannon Kearney to represent my fiance with his child support case. Every attorneys office I called prior to him wanted a consultation fee without even hearing the situation or our needs. Cannon was the first one to not mention a fee and listen to what we had going on first which completely won my business. All I needed was someone to listen and he did just that. I retained Jonathan Mann of SSRGA for an appellate case. He was meticulous, organized and thorough. He communicated very clearly. We handled the entire process via phone and text. The appellate court ruled in our favor. I would definitely have Jonathan and SSRGA perform any appellate work I have in the future based on my experience and their performance. They are expensive. We had an unfortunate experience with Ms. Elisabeth Kovac today, who was seated next to us on a flight from London to Vienna (OS456). As someone who represents a law firm, we expected a level of professionalism and respect, but sadly, Ms. Kovac’s behavior was anything but.
Shortly after we took our seats in 9B and 9C (she sat in 9A), she openly complained about us in German via text, describing us as “two 150kg people that smell like sweat.”. My husband and I were appalled by this unkind and shocking comment—especially since my husband’s weight is half of what she claimed, and I have a medical condition that has led to weight gain. None of us smelled, as we had just showered in the Plaza Premium Lounge before the flight. These were blatant exaggerations. Ms. Kovac even attempted to sneakily take a picture of us twice(!), only to awkwardly angle her camera away when she realized my husband had noticed. When confronted, she offered no apology at all. And yes, we have proof of her actions.
This experience was deeply disappointing, particularly coming from someone who should be accustomed to dealing with a diverse range of people of different skin colors, body types, and genders in her profession. Such behavior is not only rude but also unprofessional for a lawyer who, I hope, treats her clients with more respect than she showed us. Perhaps in the future, Ms. Kovac might consider flying business class if sitting next to other passengers is so bothersome to her.
I sincerely hope this review serves as a wake-up call for better conduct in the future.
