Snotty, know it all and not helpful... I wouldn't recommend her services. I didn't like her attitude and she is very pushy and unpolite. I don't think a professional lawyer would act that way... So unless you enjoy dealing with difficult people I suggest you find a better lawyer.

I hired Ms. Tzortzatos to represent me in a complex student loan nightmare. She was very aggressive with the other side and used her knowledge of civil procedure and her mastery of the facts of the case to resolve the matter in a way that was very favorable to me. She responds to phone calls and emails promptly and her legal advice is spot-on. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a smart, tough, get-it-done-today litigator.

Only interested in generating/maximizing legal fee. Charge twice on legal fees. For example, she charges once for reviewing emails, and once for forwarding them.

I consulted Amanda re: a severe, traumatic, domestic violence
situation: A former boyfriend has paid third parties to target me
across state lines/ and within 5 states- while he remains in California- so nothing is traceable to him. I was medically harmed, and sexually assaulted after he paid off medical personnel to forcibly/unjustifiably drug me unconscious at 2 medical facilities.
Amanda spoke with me for over an hour, free of charge. She
listened intently to the complex details of my case while taking
notes. She asked pertinent questions, before advising me on
how to proceed. She informed me that there are laws prohibiting
contingency arrangements for domestic violence and that I
would need to consult a medical malpractice or personal injury
attorney instead of a family law practitioner- because I can't
financially pay ahead. Amanda was respectful, sensitive,
empathetic and compassionate- and genuine in her helpfulness.
I can't recommend her highly enough!!! A GEM!

Amanda represented me in a divorce proceeding involving multi-jurisdictional issues, prenuptial agreement issues, and, importantly, the custody of a special-needs child. My former spouse was represented by several of the top divorce law firms in New York, and I never felt disadvantaged or intimidated. Amanda has a good grasp of the law(s) and was always available to answer my questions. In addition, Amanda has a PhD in Clinical Psychology, so I found it easy to talk to her about my child’s psychological and educational needs. Amanda is a strong advocate and negotiator (I found Amanda was passionate about child custody issues, and it shows in court!!); she maintains her composure in court and when dealing with opposing counsel; and she has the respect of the judges. We received a very confusing, non descriptive and unofficial cease and desist letter from our neighbor's lawyer due to issues and confrontations re: property damage and other neighbor type issues. Mr Tim Wedeen returned our phone call within 24 hrs, assessed our side of the situation, contacted their lawyer and had our matter mediated that same day!! He was exactly what our family needed and exceeded our expectations making this experience less stressful for us. He has made such a great impression on us that we have decided to keep him as our lawyer for any future legal and contractual representation. We would highly recommend him to all our family, friends and colleagues.

I have never posted a publicly negative review, but as a scorned client, I feel it is my duty to warn potential victims of this firm. Stuart was hired for a case and nothing was done for almost 3 years, except for 34 ADJOURNMENTS, (all of which were billed for). I received multiple duplicate charges on my bills and specifically asked for him to file certain motions that were never done. I lost out on half of what I was entitled to, and had to settle with the other side just for my sheer sanity. This office is now threatening to sue ME for money owed, after I paid them over $5ook and lost in the end due to Stuart's incompetency. To any potential clients, find another attorney who actually passed Ethics in law school.

The absolute worst, most disgusting people. A third rate lawyer, a graduate of the 125th rank law school in the country has the audacity to charge $1000.00 per hour !!!! Also unscrupulous. Take cash payments ($70k in my case) and failed to file the required IRS form on time! Had her client record my private conversations with a third party on the phone to use against me. This woman attorney even had the nerve to ask me if can get an erection during a deposition!! Talk about classless!!! This from a woman who probably is probably on hormonal therapy! Absolute low class, money grubbing pos! Would not recommend these unethical shysters!

Most useless group of "lawyers" you can put together. Long story short...didn't receive the full money I was legally owed because Matthew Latterner and his "team" were too lazy to follow up. Once the case had been settled I tried emailing, phone calling and texting to get updates on my payment. I must have reached out a combined amount of 30+ times, all of which were ignored.

There aren't enough words in the English Language to express how grateful I am to have had Borrelli and Associates P.L.L.C represent me on my employment matter. This was my first time needing an employment attorney. In this particular instance, I needed an employment attorney to follow up on a very difficult matter that warranted an extremely experienced firm that handled employment law. Mr. Michael Borrelli, who is the Managing Attorney/Member of the firm assisted me on my case. He responded to each and every question I had and always gave me step by step updates on his communication with the other party. Although very difficult, Mr. Borrelli was able to settle the case in less than 90 days. Wade took my case in 2012 to best honest I didn’t have the money to pay him . He made a payment plan which help .. He was there when I was to get my stamp in my passport for work purposes.., he was there for my 2 court dates he was there in the office for my citizenship interview…he wil call me from time to time to make sure to make I was ok ..
He change my address to his office which was great because I had moved hes an excellent lawyer I got my monies worth … and my case was a deportation case THANK YOU WADE

He still doesn’t have his paper he needs to lose his practicing license. Very rude to non-speaking clients. Never in his office. Change your personal address to his own office or home. Don’t give you receipt for your application. Personally I believe cause my friend is black. So I’m putting a petition on wade Johnson for abusing his position to gain whatever.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jack . He was consistently unavailable and seemed more interested in concluding the case with our landlord and getting paid than addressing our needs. Near the end of our case, he pressured us into "giving in" rather than fighting for our rights. We later found out this was just to expedite the process. After following his recommendation, the landlord forced us out, despite assurances that this was not possible. Since then, Jack has not returned any emails or calls. He is not reliable and I would not recommend his services to anyone.

Retained Maloney for 5K. He took almost half just to give me a printout from the surrogates court computers (He said he was going there anyway on an unrelated matter and would run our info while he was there! He billed me $1,350) Consulted with me for free in Feb, Paid him 5K in March, FIRED him In June that whole time I spoke to him 3 times INCLUDING the free consultation. My issues were constantly put on the back burner because he had several court cases?!?! Took 2 weeks just to get in contact with someone relevant to let him go. 4 months later NOTHING is done at all! I spent over $2500 on NOTHING. Reeled in by his speech on the strength of cultural ethics and the application of morality through use of the law LOL! This firm stands on nickels and dimes not stacks of substance. Stay Away!! He is literally wearing a white collar!!! One of his reviews on here is someone trying to get in touch with him need I say more. Believe the reviews and the lack of reviews even more so.. Lastly at a $450 per hour rate which was fair until I spent 8.08 hours on a print out I could have gotten myself. SMH in sadness.

I went through a messy divorce after a long marriage. Harriet guided me through the process, made me feel taken care of and in good hands. Working with Harriet Cohen was an exercise in extreme frustration for me. I would have had better results if 1) I defended myself; or 2) if I just used the same attorney that my ex-wife used, because I had a lot more respect for her.
When I met Harriet, she quoted me her hourly rate and explained the process. The first meeting after that, I was introduced to her accountant who was to be involved about 80% of the time, thereby almost doubling the fee. For three years, I witnessed an inexcusable amount of wheel-spinning, back-tracking, and confusion. She had no regard for my financial status during the process. After almost three years, I finally told her I was running out of money and somehow she was able to quickly resolve the case. Of course, I lost a great deal of money to her, and ended up with a terribly inequitable "settlement," just to end the situation. I would never even consider recommending her

Imoh was recommended by my best friend and she was the absolute lawyer for me. She was very patient never once rushed me off the phone, answered all my calls and if she was busy shot me a text and called me back at her earliest convenience. She was up front and very knowledgeable. If she was unsure she would be honest to say then do her research and have an answer for me. She took care of my custody battle and the resolution of the child support agreement. It was not easy but she stayed on top of every detail of the case and fought hard for me and today I have my son. She was also very understanding to my financial situation and worked with me. I was deployed and she made sure I was ok until I got back.
I am very grateful to have met her. She is mild mannered and sweet but very organized and strong in the court room. That mix was perfect for me as I did not need a lawyer to rush me or over talk me and then go to court and we have an issue. Thank you . I highly recommend her.

Since my mother passed away in testate, the property was to be equally distributed among the mentioned parties. Seeing that my sister had no desire to liquidate the mentioned estate, a petition had to be filed for the purpose of granting me executor-ship.

for Landlord & Tenant court. I went to her because an acquaintance had used her for something simple and said she did the job and I knew no other lawyers. She took the case, knowing the date before we signed, then right before the court case, after all my witness were prepared and planning for it, said she had a conflict. She couldn't get anyone from her firm to cover. I had to agree to adjourn, which set off a two other postponements. I finally dropped her and proceeded with DHCR. I asked for the retainer back, and she said she was happy with what she had done for me!!! Let's see if the Attorney Grievance Committee feels the same way.

The $3,200.00 balance of my unused trust/retainer fee was not returned. At my request she formally withdrew her representation of me in December of 2018. She never returned my owed balance. She said the check was in the mail, that was 9 months ago now.
