I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

I applied for asylum and consulted with Dan Green to help me prepare for my interview at the asylum office. Dan worked with me as a good professional of his job —he was very focused on my case, becoming quickly familiar with my situation. Dan was sympathetic and kind, and helped me through the preparation he determined I needed for the best chance for success at my interview. He researched and found an extraordinarily skilled translator to meet us at the asylum office. Dan accompanied me to the interview, which required that we board our first bus at 4:10 in the morning. I was extremely concerned because my wife hired a pit-bull attorney. I was recommended the law office of Donald Mastrodomenico by a very high Manhattan firm. Richard knows the Queens court. He knows Queens culture. My ex-wife complained about how her lawyer was looking to create strife in order get more money. I never felt that way. In fact, he spent more time with me teaching me about how the divorce court works in Queens, which was not the case for my ex-wife's with her more expensive lawyer. I always felt he looked out for my best interests. He truly protected my best interests. Once we worked out what was feasible and what I wanted, he was able to work my ex-wife's attorney to get a shared custody settlement that worked for me and was best for my two daughters. I feel very lucky to have found him.

I went through a divorce involving children. It was a very difficult time in my life. I was very nervous at the prospect of losing my children. I contacted Christopher on recommendation when my mother, after being separated from my father for many years, had received divorce papers. What made the situation more complicated was that my mother had also been recently diagnosed with advanced stage cancer. Having been in a 14 year marriage with children involved, I knew that getting a divorce would be extremely difficult, and I‘d have a tedious, emotional road ahead of me. I also knew that finding an experienced lawyer was vital. Upon our first consultation I immediately knew I wanted Christopher Palermo to represent me. His approachable, respectful demeanor and knowledgeable, upfront, honest nature gave me confidence.
There were times in my situation that I had to make hard and bold decisions. Chris always kept things in perspective for me, reminding me to be strong. I trusted his guidance completely and Chris always delivered in the courtroom.

Let's face facts...No matter what type of relationship you have with your spouse (good, bad, ugly), going through a divorce is a very painful process (especially in NY). Kara represented me (I'm a man) and was incredibly professional and helped me understand the process which unfortunately, is not easy and does not favor those who are getting a divorce (the NY courts are a mess). There are many emotions, questions and decisions (especially if you have kids), but Kara has the ability to walk you through various scenarios and help you get comfortable with what life will look like once you are officially divorced. She can be very tough when she needs to be, but does not believe in dragging this process on and on while the meter is running. She also has a great team around her so you will be in good hands.
