I was given a referral by a friend to retain Neil Cahn and from the first consultation I knew I had made the right decision. He really put me at ease and explained everything to me in such a thorough and knowledgeable manner. He was extremely professional and definitely had the best interest for myself and my son, and always went above and beyond in every way possible. As a young mother going through a divorce, I had many questions, little knowledge about family law, and he was able to answer all of my questions and make me feel comfortable. He has made himself available to me during emergency situations when I needed his expert advice or to "talk me down" from exploding. I want to share a few words about David, who handles my uncontested divorce.
He is a high-level professional with a positive attitude and excellent work ethics. He is very responsive. David is the type of lawyer who would always call you back or shot you an email on the same day no matter what type of question you have. This attitude from the lawyer is very important for me as I'm going through some difficult times in my life.
I would add that he is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise and if there is any difficult question he would go above and beyond to find the right answer for his client. I think his prices are fair and absolutely reasonable for the high-level advocacy service that he is providing. Searching for a trustworthy lawyer is painstaking because who would want to waste their money on an unreliable lawyer with no credibility? Hiring Dr. Calev was the best decision I made concerning my immigration issues. He and his assistant Pepe were very professional and easy to work with. They were very proactive in preparing me for everything--they would call me for updates even before I could call them. They treated me like I was their most important client, for a fee that's more than reasonable. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I got my greencard before the anniversary of my filing.
I'm happy that my friend recommended Pepe to me, and I'd more than glad to recommend them to others.

I had been separated from my wife for over 5 years, 2 of them trying to get her to sign Uncontested divorce papers. I left her the house and everything in it + I leased her a new car and more. One of her clients happened to be a divorce Attorney and decided to take her on Pro bono, now she wanted all sorts of things never mentioned before, I had only 1 stipulation on the paper work, that she is 100% responsible for any money owed at end of car lease, that's was it but her Attorney insisted that she not be.. I would not agree and she would not sign, we could have signed the paper work that I paid a paralegal firm to prepare, I even went to the courts and paid for the Index #, everything was done, we only needed notarized signatures and we would be divorced, No Attorneys needed but NOPE, almost 3 years later NO divorce. We were at a total standstill for a year and then I was speaking with a customer of mine and I asked what he did for a living? He answered Im an Attorney, immediately I said can I ask for some advice? He said ofcourse...... LONG STORY SHORT- I retained Benjamin Calev as my Attorney to represent me in my divorce, He said Mike all you need is to give me my retainer and I will take care of everything, you just get me any information I ask for and I will have you divorced in *6 months*- *MUSIC TO MY EARS*...( Might I ad his retainer was INCREDIBLY reasonable, and the total cost when all done? Let's just say he loves what he does and he is not all about the money... I could have easily been charged triple or quadruple what he charged me, I actually had another Attorney quote me triple). Today is January 4th 2021, Benjamin text me on December 23, 2020 Congrats your divorced, My favorite Christmas present I could have received which was just about 7 months later, not the 6 months that he said but not his fault, the papers were signed and in the courts 2 months ago waiting for the Judge to sign them. So my last words are if you have a legal issue or a unfortunate situation of any type call Benjamin Calev, he is caring, sincere, honest, hard working and a PIT BULL when needed, you would never know it when you meet him or get to know him but TRUST ME - (PIT BULL).... HE GETS THE JOB DONE....

Ben -was a blessing in disguise I was fighting some very serious criminal charges however, from day one Ben advised me we will get through this with a not guilty verdict. I hate writing reviews; I mean, I REALLY HATE writing them. When you find a professional that stands out from the crowd, however, it's only appropriate to give praise as deserved.
Steve has been extremely patient throughout my legal journey and continues to provide sound advise and creative solutions for a difficult situation. What's most impressive, however, is his ability to think quickly on his feet, using his wit, skills (the man is absurdly smart and could write a book based on his in-depth knowledge and experience), and appropriately-timed sarcasm to deliver the message in a compelling and easily-understandable way.
If you're looking for someone who will sugar-coat things, Steve isn't your guy, though. We've had a lot of tough conversations and haven't always seen the case the same way. He's objective, taking the emotions out of the legal issues, yet still somehow seems to be more empathetic than most. Why do I mention this? If you want good representation, you can't work with someone who always tells you what you want to hear. Instead, you need someone in your camp who will help you through the emotions of the situation but more than that, keep you in the game; Steve is that person.

Steven Klein came highly recommended to me by numerous people when I found myself in a child custody matter with my ex husband. I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

I had a complicated situation where in i had to get divorce through publication as my husband & i had not been in contact for 5 years & i was out of US for few years. (it was an abusive marriage)
I reside in Buffalo & i spoke with several attorneys locally but i did not feel that any of the local attorneys were able able to understand my situation. Some suggested that i locate my husband & each one of them wanted to start by identifying & listing the assets.

Lois acted as the mediator in my divorce, and she was absolutely excellent. It was a very difficult time for me personally, but Lois made the process as easy and painless as it could possibly have been. She listened to each of us separately, and made thoughtful and helpful suggestions. She is fair, and seemed to genuinely care about finding a solution that was best for both parties.

Eric took the worry out of the immigration processfor us. He held our hands and walked us through the entire process. At no point did we feel as though we were on our own. When we were concerned about issues in the news he contacted us and provided accurate information. Under Eric all our stress and Anxiety vanished. Ask opinion and Howard was the 1st one who responded with such a words. You just could feel it if the person is real or not. Decided to call him, spoke to him and he calmed me down saying everything should be fine. He would taking care of it well. He spoke by heart!!! That’s the most important. Bottom line, the case dismissed as he promised earlier. It just took me total of 20 minutes in court the I was heading home. Very recommended! You won’t be dissapointed.

I got married in July 2013. Soon after, my husband and I we were looking for a good lawyer to represent us for our immigration case since I came to this country with a C1 visa many years ago and I overstayed. Many years had to past for me to finally start fixing my immigration status: marriage equality was finally legal across the United States and the Obama administration installed a mandate to pardon immigrants in the U.S territory instead of going back to their countries to wait for a pardon.
I remember very clearly our first appointment with Ms. Cano, and I remember mostly because she was very friendly, the staff was very friendly, and she exposed to me what steps I must follow to get my papers in order, and get my resident card. She was very clear, very organized, and she speaks fluent Spanish and English.
First, we started the family petition. Once that was confirmed, we follow with the “extreme hardship” waiver, and finally with the interview that was going to be made in my country. After long months of hard work from both parties, we got the waiver approved and soon after we had the date for the interview. Now looking back it seems very simple, and it kind of is because the professionalism of Ms. Cano’s office made everything run very smoothly. They would call me every time I needed to bring something to the office or if they send me some documents to my residence. They would email me or be in contact all the time through the entire case. They would also give me copies of all documentation; hard copy, electronic copies, etc. In short, they were on top of my case throughout my immigration case.
When I finally got my residence, we convened again 2 years after that to start the process for my permanent resident. Thanks to the amount of evidence Ms. Cano ask me for and the efficiency of her office, I can finally say I am a permanent resident of the United States. I can say, very confidently, that I recommend 100% Ms. Cano’s services for any immigration issues you may have. Every case is different and for some is long and tedious, but you can have the certainty that they are working for you in a professional manner.

Ms. Cano was very thorough in absolutely every aspect of the case. She made me and my family extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. Our process took about 3 years but there was always contact and updates. We were never left in the dark and all options, whether good or bad, were explained so that there were no surprises. Can I tell Seth gave me my life back after being severely abused and surviving and getting to a safe space. Before I met Ben, I had a horrible experience with a lawyer/firm who I thought had excellent credentials. I did my homework by researching its beautiful website, nice office with coffee in Long Island, NY, etc., but to my surprise they were the worst service I have ever experienced (and I am in Sales/ Customer Service).
They never picked up the phone, never replied to my emails and when I had someone one on the phone, I had to go over my case again and again. They overcharged me without having any court hearings and no advancements for almost 1 year in my divorce case, the second lawyer from the firm was worse than the first one.
As a result, I decided to drop this firm and did not want them to represent me any longer.
At the time my ex was harassing me, the courts were an unknown process for me, and the judges were unpleasant to deal with. It was a very stressful time.
I found Ben through a friend’s reference, she said he ended complicated cases successfully.
My ex was making everything expensive by stalling the process in any way he could, he had the money to play with because he was not paying child support.
In a one-hour meeting with Ben, he did more than the other firm did in the one year they had represented me:
• He quickly understood my case;
• All assets involved
• Custody of my daughter
• Child support
• He was realistic, not raising my expectations that we could end the divorce too quickly.
Finally, Ben had a strategy that gave me a couple of options to deal with my ex’s unpredictable behavior.
He made me feel confident he was taking care of my case, not like the other lawyers that did not even know my name after thousands of dollars wasted.

Divorce is hard, but a lot harder when you are a caring and supportive father who does not want to be away from your children. Karen helped me obtain a fair divorce in which custody and support were split evenly between both of us. This definitely took some effort to obtain. Overcoming the court’s bias towards the mother was difficult to overcome, but possible with Karen's guidance. Two kids; one house; one dog; and a divorce. It wasnt that complicated but to her it was the end of the world… ww3 and it had already been going on for years when I first hired Mr. Salamone. To Say I should’ve hired him first as an understatement. I had my first lawyer, because all he did was talk about how much he “saw” in my case and how much he could fight and get for me. In the end, it just cost me money. Salamone is different. What it is he always showed how he could get me out of this with my shirt still on my back. I highly recommend him.
