Jerry helped keep me calm throughout the whole process. I was most impressed with how straight forward Jerry was. Nothing was "sugar coated." He told me what to expect each step of the way. I was a single mother trying to maintain primary physical custody of my young son and Kurt Mausert failed to make that happen. He actually basically gave the father 50/50 custody which is still effecting myself and my son to this day. I would say if you are a mother looking to hire a lawyer for a child custody case to steer clear of hiring Kurt Mausert.

I am so pleased with all of my dealings with Attorney Kurt Mausert. He has an impeccable work ethic, tremendous compassion for those who are in need. He is sincere in his words, thoughts and correspondence. It is rare to meet someone who is this easy to talk to, understands your predicament quickly and fully, offers invaluable advice and is a decent, genuine nice guy! I cannot recommend Kurt highly enough. He has handled several family court matters for me, as well as a personal injury case for a family member -- all with great success. He is extremely responsive (sometimes getting replies to emails on weekends). He and his staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. He is an aggressive advocate for his clients.

I have been using Rachel for the last 10 yrs for different matters. She is very thorough with any matter I have presented to her. If I had any questions regarding issues on the matter at hand, she would get back to me in a very timely manner. It may be after hours,but I would always receive a response via phone or email. I have referred her to many friends and they were absolutely satisfied with her services. Rachel has been representing my children tirelessly and with great passion for several years since 2016. At first, my daughters who were 8 and 11 at the time, were very scared to meet with their attorney. Rachel immediately put them at ease and almost instantly they felt very comfortable talking with her and sharing their feelings. Since day one, Rachel has treated my daughters as if they were her own. She has taken time out of her personal life to meet with and talk to my girls. There was a point in time, they spoke several times a day. Rachel always answered their calls and text messages without hesitation. She constantly reassured my daughters and put their minds at ease. Without Rachel, I don’t believe my girls would have survived a grueling divorce and custody battle. Rachel has watched my daughters grow into young women. They are now 13 and 16 years old. She has never missed a beat with them. She has consistently checked in on them to see how they are doing in school, if they had fun during a school vacation and just to see how they are doing in their day to day lives. She often refers to them as “my girls”. She has fought for them, believed in them and represented them fully and completely in the court setting. There truly aren’t words that could adequately express how wonderful Rachel is as an advocate for children and as a human being. She is caring, loving, dedicated and trustworthy. Rachel has also helped me through this entire process with pure professionalism. I felt from the start, my daughters were in the best of hands and would be represented fairly and honestly. Rachel is a true champion for children. She listens without bias and is 110% passionate about her role in these very often turbulent cases. After years of working with Rachel, I can honestly say she is one of a kind. Rachel was amazing (In one word!) Extremely responsive, professional, knowledgeable and tough. I never won a case in family court before I retained her for my most recent case. She knew how to navigate negotiations with opposing counsel and when we didn’t come to terms we were comfortable with, knew to not give in and be comfortable with the fact that we had a strong argument to present. (She was right). Very pleased with her and her staff!

i was referred to Mrs Alomar by a friend of a friend. The first time i spoke with her i literally cried as i had to relive what my 13yr old daughter was going through with her Mom who she was living with. Mrs Alomar offered many suggestions as i initially was trying to avoid court and work with a mediator to have custody switched. Despite my request Karina made it clear that court would be necessary but she would first try it "my way" only to appease me. Karina was right, it did not work, court was necessary. We went through no fewer than 6 court appearances over the course of 6 months when i was finally granted custody of my daughter. Karina was great, she pulled no punches and even put me in my place on many occasions when it was necessary. Despite the circumstances, i am glad i had the opportunity to meet Karina, she is a wonderful attorney and a great person. Words cannot express how thankful we are.....

We hired Robin Gershowitz to be our real estate attorney. She was amazing! She spent so much time with us and never rushed us. When I had knee replacement surgery she came to our house so I wouldn’t have to climb stairs. She even managed to get us extra money when the buyers delayed us. We are also impressed with her bilingual skills and the caring she gives to immigrant clients. Her office assistant always provided prompt help for us We cannot say enough wonderful things about Robin!!!

Recently a financial legal issue turned my life upside down. Unsure of my options I called a handful of attorneys and found that they would talk in circles and try to sell me on solutions that I think benefited them more than I. Not with Mr. Suda. From the start he was straight forward with me and explained my options. He helped me through a very difficult process, did not sugar coat my situation and was honest on what options would be best for me. I would highly recommend him should you be seeking help with a legal matter.

Mr Suda provided excellent answers to my questions that i needed consultation on for a case. Ira knows the law and he also understands the numbers. My divorce involved some complex valuation and tax issues. Ira was able to not only understand the finer points and the long term implications, he presented them in a way that made sense to the court and led to a fair outcome. Mr Rockitter is quite adept at what he does. In addition to being very well respected by the court, he is a wonderful, compassionate person who has helped me collect child support from a father who by definition continues to be a "deadbeat." One of our child support petitions was also a published decision due to his expertise. I recently retained him again years later and testified from Florida, where I reside, while he was in the Family Court in Nassau County. The hearing was resolved by a large settlement in July of 2016. He has always been extremely fair with legal fees as well. I highly recommend him and will retain him again shortly.

Kevin Rockitter was excellent throughout my divorce process and post decree as well. Kevin is always available to answer emails, texts, respond to phone calls and meet if necessary. When I had a more urgent need to speak to him about an issue he would always respond in a very timely manner and let me know if he could not be reached for a period of time. He explains legal terms and issues in an understandable, patient manner and provides prompt feedback when something is unclear. He is trustworthy, professional and very knowledgeable in the field of matrimonial law. He worked very hard to settle my case before a trial ensued. There were several tenuous situations with respect to my ex-wife during the process. Kevin handled these situations in a calm, confident manner and resolved the issues promptly. I received my decree on November 4, 2011 and have had several follow-up questions and issues come up since. Kevin has continued to be responsive and provide clear direction. After firing my first TWO LAWYERS, I was finally relieved to have found Natalia. I had just escaped an abusive relationship and my ex decided he wanted to sue me for custody of our 1 yr old son.. (Even though he never showed any interest in being a father until I got the courage to leave him) He was incredibly skilled at playing the victim and I needed someone who was able to not only recognize this but to have the ability to present the truth to the judge. From our first consultation, I knew I finally found the right representation with Natalia. She was incredibly intelligent, attentive and perceptive. She helped me to navigate this nightmare with such professionalism and tenacity. After 2 1/2 years of litigation, the judge in fact saw that my ex dragged me to court under “self serving” purposes and awarded me Sole Legal AND Physical custody with permission to relocate out of state. This was a complex case and if not for Natalia’s wisdom and expertise, not to mention compassion, I don’t know where my son and I would be today. Lawyers are a dime a dozen but very few actually CARE about their clients. This is definitely what sets Natalia apart from all the rest. I highly recommend her if you find yourself in a contentious custody and/or divorce case. She will keep you grounded, focused and empowered with knowledge of applicable state laws.

Amazing. If you are thinking about making a big decision in your life financially, Mr. James J. Rufo is the lawyer to go to.
