I received a burn while dining out, it hurt for sure and I knew I needed medical attention. I also knew that I needed a lawyer. I called a few but it was a Sunday so I left voicemails. John Bailey called me that Monday, I never received a called from the other lawyers. After talking with him I knew he took my incident serious and quickly an agreement was reached with the restaurant representatives for compensation. I am very happy with the outcome. I wouldn't call another lawyer, John I can't thank you enough. I would also like to give a shout out to the secretary, She was very polite!

I hired Mr. Whiteman as counsel for my divorce case. From the onset of our working relationship, he was very professional, highly knowledgeable and a great advisor to a case that was made complicated as a result of the opposing party (my former husband). On numerous occasions, we needed to show firmness in our stance with the opposing party and Mr Whiteman was a strong advocate fighting for my rights consistently and fairly, yet still maintained the case as amicable as possible to avoid further legal complications and settle out of court. Mr Whiteman was very responsive to any questions or issues I had during the case, and explained thoroughly each step of the way. I appreciated him keeping me in the loop for any correspondence with opposing counsel. I would highly recommend Mr Whiteman for any legal matter that is handled by him.

I highly recommended to Ana Maria Bazan Law firm. Ms.Bazan is very kind and first time i spoke to her, she is very compassion of what she doing. she understand the situation. She made me feel ease. So I decided to go with her firm and team. From started She knows exactly what needs to be done, she will tell you straight forward about everything that relates/needs in your case or could effect your case, which I appreciated her honesty. I feel very confident during the process bc of her. Ms.Bazan and her team made sure we got everything required so there will be no delaying or anything complications. My case got approved withthin 10 months under her firm. (Generally time is 12-24 months) Thank you to Ms.Bazan. Everything went so well and fast. I am so thankful I found her.

Andrew Wiess and company are excellent attorneys. They wouldn't stop fighting my case until the other side came up with an acceptable settlement. They are hard workers and detail oriented. I would definitely use them again, if needed and highly recommend them.

I found Ms. Richards to be highly unprofessional, highly unethical and highly prejudicial in the execution of my parent's estate. In my opinion, resorting to threats and bullying in an attempt to intimidate a particular beneficiary is beneath the conduct you would otherwise expect from a member of the Bar Association. To be clear, I was not "unhappy with my parent's estate", I was shocked by Ms. Richard's behavior. Her handling of the estate relative to administration and advice given was deplorable, and in no way represented what my parents would have wanted. If you're in the market for an estate attorney that you can trust to do the right thing upon your passing, I recommend that you look elsewhere. I would not have even given Ms. Richards a "1 star" review, but Google doesn't accept anything less.

Stephen Donaldson, exemplifies everything one could hope for when seeking legal help. Stephen has been a part of my life for 5+ Years and has been serving as co guardian of my brother. After a consultation with Ms. Karmel, I was put at ease. She listened to my concerns and explained what might occur. We began mediation and when things went sideways, she stepped up. She was exceptionally professional and made a tough time easy to understand and get through. Her associates were as professional as she was. My divorce occurred during Covid and when in person was never going to happen it felt like we were sitting in her office one on one. I would highly recommend Ms. Karmel and her team. They will make the worst case acceptable.

Randi Karmel is a great lawyer. She is beyond wonderful, as far as lawyers go. She came into a messy situation, where my ex and I had been fighting post settlement now for 6 years. After brutalizing me financially, my ex had started with DV. I finally stood up to him when he went after our 9 year old. Ex is a big law name partner, previous 5 lawyers were afraid of him, and his counsel. Randi was never intimidated by them. She is thorough and decisive. Within 15 minutes of meeting me she grasped the intricate details of years of fighting, and zeroed in on key points to start with. Randi gives you her full attention. I had heard she likes children, this is so true. When I needed to meet with her and didnt have child care, Randi saw my child in the waiting lounge and made my child feel comfortablet. She developed a rapport in no time, and gave my child time, respect and consideration. I respect her, when caught up in the fight she recenters me to focus on our daughter, and her best interests. Randi has a fun personality and knows many people, an added bonus (i.e., mediators, court therapists etc). My ex, who delights in breaching our stipulations, tries to take all things away from our kid. Randi is always there, fielding calls about refusals to pay for x-rays, camp, school activities, tuition etc. Randi is fiesty, she is willing to use her passion to go to the mat for her clients. Once waiting in the hallway while all the lawyers were in the back with the Judge, I could hear Randi's voice roaring to match the Judge. When we had applied for a new private school last spring, Randi called me no less than 10 times the day (not billable and only out of concern) we were to hear from the admissions office, she really cared about whether our kid was admitted. I like that Randi has an unusual trait for NYC lawyers, she is honest. She always tells me her opinion of when I don't have a chance, she does not blow smoke. Over a year ago I was facing eviction ( pulled all my rent money to pay to pursue a TOP, then defend an OSC and TRO to quash my TOP). I had paid a previous attorney an extraordinary amount of money. I was lucky enough to hire Randi. After knowing me only 3 months, she gave me a post dated check back so I could use it to pay back rent; my ex had offered me a "loan"with terms I couldn't possibly repay. Randi saved my daughter and me from being homeless, deferring her payment unprompted. Shhhhh, Randi Karmel is not only a fighter, but she is kind and caring. You want this woman to represent you, trust me. She is a hidden gem in a nasty field of greed and cottage corruption aka nyc matrimony and divorce law. We always have ongoing conflicts, so this will always say I hired her under one month ago. We are going on two years, only 12 more until my daughter is 21! PS - how I got Randi's name. When I was forced to file for my TOP, I called my ex's old law partner from his firm. I had dealt with that woman when my ex's attorney was on vacation maybe 4 years ago (pro se at the time). I requested attorney names, the woman was very kind and almost apologetic for my ex's actions. Her secretary called with a list of names. I wrote them down, and as an after thought, added "Please tell her this isn't [ex's name] economically screwing me per usual, he went after our kid, this is for DV and a TOP." The partner's secretary called back in 5 minutes and said " call these names, in this order..." Randi was the top name. Unfortunately she was on trial, but I was lucky enough to retain her a couple months later.

My ex had seriously unlimited coffers, hired some of the most expensive lawyers in the USA, and in the end had 5 of them against Mario. My ex paid off school officials with donations, and used financial strength to bully anyone who would have helped testify about the reality. And guess what? Mario still won! And he did it with style!

We consulted with Brian after being told by another Lawyer Grandparent Visitation is never awarded in our circumstance, and not to waste our time and money. Brian gave us suggestions on things to try with our son and daughter in law to resolve the issues before a petition was filed. We did retain Brian and at that time he was confident we would get time with our grandson. We did go to trial and Brian was excellent all the way through. He responds to calls and emails and provides answers very quickly He is very thorough and meticulous. We were awarded visitation with our grandson beginning in August and actually received more time than we expected. Everything Brian does is for a reason and to help your case so listen to the expert! He is very delicate with family situations and keeps things as kind and calm as possible. Having that first visit with our grandson was amazing and we have Brian to thank for it! My husband and I highly recommend him..

Brian Welsh was highly recommended to me by lawyers in other fields. I entered his preliminary conference with much trepidation. He instantly put my mind at rest, listened intently to what I had to say and understood from day one that I did not wish to punish my partner. Our conferences and phone calls throughout the following months were cheerful and professional. I was given good advice, told what was going to be possible and, in a gentle way, told what could not be achieved. The speed with which he dealt with my instructions and passed them on was sometimes alarming but the entire process of my divorce was very much quicker than I had anticipated and I am still friends with my ex-wife. Julia is very unprofessional. Julia’s lack of knowledge and understanding of the US immigration law unfortunately cost me my green card. The document of denial from immigration cited her mistake as being the reason for the loss of my case. When I asked her to refund my money ($8,000) due to her error she said “I can only open a new case which we can request a visa for political reasons”. This is therefore advice to open a fake case because I am not running from the politics on my country, I therefore denied this advice. Julia is unreliable. When I had my first interview with US immigration, Julia was late by 1.5 hours!!! We had an appointment at 7 am and she didn’t turn up until 8.30 am. She also frequently missed important deadlines for requests for information by US immigration. In one instance, she was overdue to respond by 2 months, with US immigration sending a letter to say that they would cancel my case without an immediate response. Her staff will never answer your emails. You will have to send multiple emails and call multiple times a day for her to respond and talk to you.

Julia Santo and Kris Slifkin are wonderful! I found myself in desperate need of an Elder Care attorney last spring and Julia literally came to the rescue!! Julia and Chris “held my hand” through the overwhelming process of paperwork, Medicaid, provided resources, gave clear direction on how to navigate the various systems and just as important, were there for me any time I needed them. As a caregiver for many years of a family member who had Parkinson's disease, our Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our hospital Neurology Department presented me with three names of eldercare law firms as my family member's health was declining. I interviewed all three firms, then selected Lamson & Cutner to proceed with our eldercare requirements for help in navigating the ever changing legal requirements as to long term nursing home care when on USA Government health care insurances. I am so happy to have found this law firm for help , my family members agree ,that it was the wisest decision for me to make. No one can do this complicated legal work alone and it is best ,if possible to proceed with legal issues when the ill person can still understand and contibute their own desires as to what their assets distribution ,usually but not exclusivly into an Irrevocable trust, as well as critical end of life decisions to their family which should be then ultimately drawn up in legal documents by an Attorney . As the LSCW stated to me when I hesitated thinking "I had so much time to get to this issue" ...'Don't put it off"!

Stephanie is the type of lawyer you would want on your side whenever you are facing an unfair justice, She took me under her wings during a time of need and cared enough to further research better terms for my stipulation agreement working strategically with the the opposing attorney to finish the matter outside of court, saving me time, money and unnecessary energy. You won't find a lawyer who is human and cares the way this firm does, I highly recommend it.

Mr. Abruzzese came to me highly recommended from a friend who hired Mr. Abruzzese to represent him in a personal injury matter and after consulting with Mr. Abruzzese about my landlord/tenant case I knew he was the right lawyer for me. He was very knowledgeable and gave me top quality legal representation without drowning me in legal fees. It was nice to see a lawyer so involved in every aspect of my case and always punctual on court dates.
