In my divorce we actually had different court appearances and a trial that lasted about three days. This group of attorneys is completely incompetent. I tried to hire them to modify a judgment. They told me there's nothing they can do and hire attorney in a different state. I already have an attorney in a different state and they say I need one here to modify the oregon judgment. I would definitely not recommend this group of attorneys. In my opinion they know absolutely nothing about family law

Chelsea was a genuine gift as lawyer. I spoke with close to a dozen lawyers before finally retaining her services. Chelsea and her assistant Pheobe are incredibly professional. They're prompt with their responses and very knowledgeable. My divorce was looking to be a nightmare until Chelsea stepped in. With her assistance we were able to settle in a way that both my ex and I are satisfied with. She works well with judges, other lawyers, and with her clients. I am writing to share my deeply disappointing experience with McKinley Irvin, particularly with Courtney Bellio, who I had the unfortunate chance of working with. My experience was far from what I had expected and, at times, shockingly unprofessional.
Courtney Bellio, handled my family law case, and I was left feeling misrepresented and frustrated. Throughout my case, communication was a constant issue. Courtney Bellio took over two weeks to respond to important emails, leaving me in the dark during critical stages of the process. This lack of timely and accurate communication made an already stressful situation much worse. Additionally, there never seemed to be a clear strategy for my case, and at times, I as the client had to step in to direct the strategy, which should never happen.

Jim never followed up with my ex after he sent out the General Judgment to be signed and delivered to the courts, which resulted in my divorce never happening. I signed and assumed everything was sealed and delivered. It wasn't until many months later that my ex said she never signed. I am now dealing with lawyers to finalize my divorce. Jim left me in one of the most painful and complicated scenarios I have ever had to navigate in my life. He has totally 'checked out' from his work and is obviously cruising untill he fully retires. Avoid at all costs.

Brian is such a great attorney and guy. The amount of time and effort he spent on me I honestly felt like I owe him more money! After going bankrupt I really didn't have it but I hope this review can bring him more customers. I shopped around, his rate is very reasonable and the value is best you'll find. My bankruptcy has finally discharged well over a year later and he has still made himself available to me. When you call, he answers the phone, not a secretary and he knows who you are. I recently had to retain an attorney due to a neighbor dispute. The interaction happened in the morning and directly after, I called Julia for a consultation. She immediately fit me in for a consult and went over several options. After deciding on what route would be best to take for the situation, she quickly drafted retainer paperwork and got to work on my case.
Within 2 days, my neighbor had received the demand letter from Julia’s office and we’ve had no issues since then!
This could have easily been a long, drawn out process however Julia was quick to act and made us feel very confident in her work and knowledge to handle the case.

I was injured in a slip and fall case back in 2014. When the insurance company would not quit harassing me, I decided I needed an attorney. I live in Seattle, so I started there. I called every attorney that was also licensed in Oregon (the accident happened in Oregon). I must have spoken to at least 15 attorneys who laughed me off because it was a slip and fall. They didn't want to hear about it, even when I knew they didn't have to prove liability, just damages.
Some attorney in Oregon referred me to Jose. He listened to me, heard me tell him how liability was already clear and that damages was the only issue that needed to be resolved. Because of this, I got a settlement that was more than any slip and fall that I had ever seen. In fact, I have never seen a slip and fall win. If you have a case that you think will never be won, call Jose, and tell him that Terry sent you.

We had a very bad experience with Mr. Hwang. This was the only appointment we had with him. I think he is impersonal, angry, self absorbed and not patient.
What do people need when they are going through the worst of their lives? -Patience, kindness and awareness of other people’s feelings, as death can be devastating for the family and friends.
Knowledge without these traits is like getting a big enciclopedia.
Please read all the reviews that have been written about him. I did not before setting an appointment, and regretted it.

If I had to use one word to describe my experience with Levin and Levine I’d say MAGNIFICENT!! Cameron and Michelle are truly some of the best people ever. Very patient, understanding, always willing to help you understand something (because legal vocabulary is confusing sometimes lol) and just over all very good lawyers.
