I was referred to Ralph about an auto accident claim from another professional. Ralph took a number of weeks to respond to my initial contact and asked that I send him over all the information from my case. After receiving this he told me he'd get back to me by the end of the week.
4 weeks later he left me a VM saying he couldn't take my case. He asked that I call him back so we could talk about it a bit more and I tried calling and e-mailing to get a hold of him and he completely ghosted me and never responded again. I work in the professional services industry and this is a huge RED FLAG and terrible professionalism. I caution anyone looking for an attorney to avoid engaging his services and find a professional who will actually communicate like one.

Fogarty was representing my daughter in a case, when she was asked to help get my daughter DD occomidations her reply was "she seems fine to me"
My daughter has been diagnosed with Autism spectrum and Fetal alcohol spectrum her processing speed for information is about 30% slower than that of her peers. Even with documents showing this her lawyer Mrs Fogarty refused to help my daughter get the occomidations that were necessary for her to understand what was happening. I WOULD NOT recommend her to anyone she ableist and it's disgusting

Blaine and his team are the most knowledgeable, determined, educated team I have ever worked with. Paid a ton of money to get the worst possible outcome for child custody. Told me to give them full custody and focus on parenting time. Went with it. Didn’t get more parenting time at all. 2 weekends a month….. Told me we can pursue in court, but it would be thousands more. What a joke.

DO NOT RETAIN THEM. They put on a good "act" but they will drag the process out as they continue to charge you. As well as pass you around between the lawyers, ask for paperwork and information multiple times, and in the end send you to court with an unprepared lawyer in training who will fumble your case completely. The result being losing on all points as well as having to pay. STAY AWAY.

So, I never really hired anyone here, but I did have a consult with Kurt back in 2019 for a custody filing. He was extremely helpful and very compassionate, but he was confident I could move forward without a lawyer representing my case, based on my own 'evidence'. I was a single mom of two, no financial support, and I 100% was so thankful that Kurt was an honest lawyer who wasn't just going to take my money. Ms. Thorpe tried to try to take the easy way out, tried to talk me into to allowing the opposing party to bully me, and get away with requests that didn't make sense. While she may be knowledgeable in basic legal issues, she will NOT fight for you, would rather fight with you to give in, and doesn't seem to care about your best interest. When I retained new counsel, from out of the area, they saw the glaringly obvious, that there was already an agreement in place and the opposing party had no grounds to ask for more! She treated me like I was not worth her time, talked down to me and made me feel absolutely hopeless.

If you are considering hiring C.J. Graves as your lawyer, I’d like to share my troubling experience working with him on a parenting plan modification which would result in a child support modification. Now, keep in mind, I have sole legal custody of my son.
Unfortunately, C.J. satisfied all of the opposing party's requests for the provisions in the new supplemental judgement. Nothing we discussed and initially agreed between parties when we “settled” out of court was included in the judgement, except for the 50/50 that I agreed to. The opposing party submitted the judgement that they drafted as final. C.J. submitted the response which was disregarded by Judge Bailey and he signed the opposing parties draft as final. This did not include ANY of the agreed upon/revised provisions that we discussed.
C.J. found out about this, called me and emailed me and said he wasn’t happy with the new judgment. However, he signed it without my knowledge and approval. From there, he was not able to discuss the damaging and inaccurate statements with opposing counsel. Not only did the child support modification not include the private health insurance I pay for my son, he also allowed the opposing party to include close to $800 in health care related expenses. He flat out told me he would get this fixed. That never happened.
He didn’t even get the other party to agree to edit the start date that the new parenting plan started. This resulted in a 3-month retro for the other party- which was a lie.
Either C.J. lacks knowledge of basic information on how to modify a child support payment and/or the ability to properly represent a client.
How are basic, fundamental, and true facts not incorporated in a new judgement when you have a lawyer representing you and these were specific things I had to ask him to change?
It appears that C.J. was very helpful in allowing the other party to achieve what they wanted. So, in essence, C.J. did not negotiate ANYTHING on my behalf. He did not do the work that I paid him for (negotiating and representing me) because the judgement says it all.
This resulted in an inaccurate monthly child support payment, and C.J. knew it.
There are additional factors that are influencing my rating and decision which I prefer to leave outside of this review. However, one of the most outstanding is his response time. I would not hear from him for 2 weeks, if not more. Part of his communications said that we shouldn’t “push it” or “upset them in any way,” if we wanted them to agree to consider changing anything (to the true information).
This was concerning to me because C.J. constantly told me that the opposing counsel didn’t call him back or reply to his emails. His inability to communicate with opposing counsel set me back and put me in a very compromised position.
C.J. was hired to negotiate and represent me. Unfortunately, I lost more than what rights I went in with, and he is very aware of this. At minimum to have the health care expense I pay for my son included in the child support calculator. I have always maintained health insurance for my son. Uninterrupted medical coverage.
The lack of timely communication left me wondering for weeks if anything was happening and or going to change. He also made deceiving promises about outcomes that were valid and realistic. I walked out losing and 100% unsatisfied. This was a clear-cut case, and C.J. did not do his job.
I truly felt neglected and that my case was not a priority for C.J. He was not able to achieve anything for me and the final judgement contained clauses that were never agreed upon. He was not able to negotiate anything for me. He even stated that in his conversations with opposing counsel, “We simply could not reach a resolution as to the issues”. Simply put, the other party was able to create a judgement that included everything they wanted (that was not agreed upon) and C.J. had no power to negotiate it.

Warning!! Billable hours are overcharged, double charged, incorrectly charged. If you attempt to discuss the items billed for, amount of time charged or the duplicate charges Maryanne Pitcher will string you along. Will schedule a time to discuss and review the bill to appease you then cancel the meeting. Doing this repeatedly. After numerous attempts to resolve the incorrect and over billing my case was dropped, the firm sued and sent the charges in question to collections. They also send other clients case information to the wrong person. I received other clients case documents to my address. Maryanne was confrontational, belittling, and condescending. Will be contacting state bar as others in the reviews. As well as contacting another attorney referred to me that has been successful resolving issues with the firm for Maryanne’s practices. I am willing to pay for accurate hours spent working on my case before the firm dropped it but not double, inaccurate, or overcharges. Spent around $10,000 with the firm for them to drop my case, sue me for charges I refused to pay, for services Maryanne avoided discussing and resolving. If you are already a client, communicate everything in writing so your requests are documented. I quickly learned that discussions with Maryanne verbally would be later denied, taken out of context, or I would be accused of saying something I didn’t. If you are looking for representation and reading this before you choose there are several other very good reputable firms in the valley. It is worth waiting for a consultation. Legalities are stressful, find an attorney or firm that can treat you respectfully. That you can trust with your case and money.

This law office has a reputation for weaponizing the discovery process, which will be unnecessarily expensive for both parties. I purchased property in Tillamook County in 2016 that was reported as 10 + acres. All tax records indicated 10 + acres. After 2 years my Co. tax assessment claimed I owned 8 acres. Upon review and checking dimensions that concurred I did in fact own 10+ acres. Upon consulting Zupanic Law a $2500 retainer was required, no problem. I was disappointed that there was no contact with Tillamook County to address my situation by my Attorney and the response I received from Zupanic Law was the land description did not add up. There was no visit to the property or no visit from Zupanic.. never even met the guy, and $1300 later I was SOL.
