Kaori is a great lawyer and worked really hard on my behalf when I was getting a divorce. I had met 3-4 other lawyers before her and felt like she was the only one that really cared and listened intently when we met. Throughout our time together, she knew how to best communicate with me when I was feeling frazzled and was very patient when I need explanation. I felt like we were a team -- I knew my history/situation and she knew the law. As a result, we worked well together to make a strong settlement case. As things got more intense, and I often got overwhelmed, I was really happy to have her in my corner. She is calm, focused, smart, very capable and kind. This woman is a gift to any family she represents. I trusted her with everything I was fighting for (my family) and she not only delivered, she was honest, she was sympathetic and she provided absolute guidance in a world of chaos and pain! I first consulted Shannon Hall after my husband decided to separate from me when I was 74 years old. Chip was very good. My ex wanted to fight about every little thing. She opposed anything and everything. Somehow she found a lawyer just like her. It was hell, he was as sarcastic as she was. Anyway Chip kept his cool and kept me from do foolish things too. All of the emails and arguments, she even purposely damaged my car Chip could have charged me a fortune as I later found out other lawyers do. He is not only a great lawyer, but he's a good person too. I wish he were my friend. LOL If you have any questions make sure to ask him, he will give good answers without making you wait or charging a fortune.

Gardner explained everything to me I was unclear about: his strategy, possible outcomes from the other team, and what he was hoping for...which was to win my case. Obviously, when dealing with CPS, a parent does not have many options, but he gave me sound suggestions and encouragement. Even if I did not always like my options, he broke it down in a way that was easier to take in. If he was not going to be present, he made sure a qualified member of his staff would be and that they had been thoroughly breifed on my case. He knows how to do his job and does it well. All of his staff are qualified and are not shy about doing their job well... I cannot say thank you enough for all his effort. He pulled off a miracle. Hopefully, I am never in a situation where I need him again, but if I am, I would not want any other lawyer. Funny guy who talks way too much, but deinitely one in a million.

Because I posted an honest review Brad Miller is trying to retaliate in my current custody battle.
Brad Miller emailed me May 2 2023 in the evening and had an immediate danger hearing May 3 without serving me papers. He has griped that I emailed him when he has emailed me personally.
My mental health is fine Brad Miller. Had a psych evaluation done.

If you really want to stick it to your ex and you want that feeling that you beat them, this is the firm for you. This firm is effective! They will bend the truth for you in court and in numerous superfluous memos. They will bully your ex and drag out the process to ensure that your ex suffers. In fact, they copied me on an internal communication which showed that they will even lie to each other within their own firm. Now, when you come out of the divorce, they will have taken everything from you financially, but who cares when you succeeded in making your ex suffer and that their tactics make thing so toxic that you will hardly be able to co-parent with your ex in the future. To ensure this process drags out as long as possible, they will neglect to let you know that your ex has made offers to settle. For over two years, SKH will make no offers settle with your ex and they will encourage you to not accept any offers because why do that when they can make more money taking this to court. They have so many cases going to court that the judge rebuked SKH for delaying court for 4 months because they had so many court cases booked, but the judge can’t actually do anything to stop these grey area tactics, so it gives you more time to bully your ex! This firm will back you up and encourage you to take your ex for everything. And while this won’t let you move on with your life, who cares as long as you get to falsely believe that your ex is suffering more because of it. Thanks SKH! I don’t have anything left to pay you with anymore, but at least I can feel like my ex suffered.

I was cited for trespassing by Tri-Met and hired Mr. Blake to defend my case. Mr. Blake successfully had my ticket dismissed at trial and demonstrated a thorough understanding of the law -- so much so that the officer who had given the citation approached Mr. Blake after the conclusion of trial for advice. I found Mr. Blake to be honest, straightforward, and helpful in dealing with my case. I felt comfortable throughout the process even though this was my first experience with the legal system. I recently used Ms. Kane in a family law case and I was pleasantly surprised at her down to earth demeanor and her willingness and ability to translate pages of legal jargon into everyday language that I could understand. Her ethics are impeccable and I feel like her billing was reasonable and detailed (unlike other attorneys that I have had). Overall, this attorney deserves a 5 star rating and I would strongly suggest that you seek her advice if you are in need of a family law attorney.
