I hired Hallie for custody issues with my child who was in 2nd grade at the time. The issues turned out to be very in-depth and complicated. Hallie was always prepared at every turn. When we needed to bring professionals in, Hallie had excellent recommendations who were very good and well qualified. I had worked with several different attorneys in the past that were not able to do for my family what Hallie did.
Separately, I also hired Hallie for a divorce. With Hallies help and guidance we were able to keep it an uncontested divorce and for my situation that has proved to work out very well. Now, my ex and I are able to coparent very effectively and our 2 young children are very happy and doing very well in their lives. Hiring Mrs. Cosmo is the best choice I’ve ever made. She help me gain custody of my oldest daughter. She is very professional, patient, outgoing, and was understanding towards every situation that I spoke to her about. It was very stressful going through the whole trial process but Mrs, Cosmo reassured me every step of the way. We ended trial with me having full custody so custody of my daughter and till this day Mrs. Cosmo still helps me and gives me advice on what to do for certain situation having to deal with my daughters mother. Mrs. Cosmo is very family oriented and she always gets back to me in a timely manner. I was told my estate planning would be between $1500-2000, but it was $2500. I also got very little guidance on how to set up beneficiaries with my trust. I was expecting a document to help me navigate this issue, but all I got was verbal instructions. Would not recommend.

As a professional in the area of high conflict divorce and custody where addiction, violence and personality disorders are at play, I have had the privilege of supporting many families through eviscerating circumstances towards peace.
As a result, I have also had the experience of working with over a hundred family law attorneys.
Often family law attorneys are overextended and commit to being hired by clients they know they aren’t a good fit for. Or allow themselves to be hired and when the case exceeds their expertise continue without bringing in others to the team that could best support their client.
Ms. Stapleton is the opposite of the above stated common scenarios.
Ms. Stapleton is the quintessential professional in addition to being compassionate, brilliant and caring.
Part of being brilliant is knowing when your efficacy could use subject matter experts with deep well knowledge in areas that will benefit your client. We had a complicated child custody case involving divorce and third party custody of a minor child, and Mark and Cara absolutely delivered. They did exactly what they promised us they would do in our initial consultation. They were always patient, courteous and available. Like most custody cases, ours was extremely emotional and stressful, and on my day in front of the judge, I was a total nervous wreck. Having Cara and Mark standing with me made me feel more at ease, and was definitely a comfort. My only (tiny) compliant would be, I felt I had to chase after them a bit to stay informed about the status of my case. However, I can admittedly be a little obsessive and I am definitely a worrier, so I may have required more attention than usual.
