I have been with Ms. Hubbell as my family attorney since November 2003 up to present. Ms. Hubbell is an ethical attorney who responds to my concerns and needs very promptly and effectively, especially during crises. My case consisted of complicated asset division and long, bitter custodial battle. During one court date, Ms. Hubbell was very compelling in every stage. Because of her effectiveness, I had a favorable outcome for the case, which included having the other party pay for my attorney fee. I was fortunate to have Ms. Hubbell, a good communicator who strives for the best results for her client, represent my case. Overall, I am very happy with her work and her care. For those I recommended Ms. Hubbell to as their family attorney, they were also happy with her. As time goes by, I know that I cannot find a better attorney than Ms. Hubbell.

Karen Hubbell provided my husband and I with excellent legal support in finalizing some lingering issues from his previous marriage. I wish he had gone to Karen from the beginning, instead of using a mediator. So many people wanting an amicable divorce shy away from hiring a lawyer, fearing that it will lead to a court battle or cost a ton of money. However, when you have financial entanglements and children involved, it is imperative to seek help from a lawyer who knows the ins and outs of the legal system and can get it done right - the first time around. We found Karen to be very straightforward and understanding of the approach we wanted to take in getting matters resolved. With her help, we were able to finally lay to rest the custody schedule and financial issues that had been dragging on unresolved for three years after his divorce. Kate is patient, kind and sees the big picture when all you can see is red. To say I was a difficult client and that my ex-husband was a nightmare is a huge understatement. Kate held my hand, worked with me through all my breakdowns, and ultimately got me what I needed. She knew I needed something solid and that I couldn’t count on my ex to keep his promises down the road, even with a judgment.
I have now moved on with my life, have a guaranteed source of income and will be forever grateful to Kate for sticking with me. As an added bonus, she’s fun to work with and really cares about the final outcome, you are in good hands.

Kate was absolutely amazing. My ex husband became very controlling and inflexible in every way. He tried to bully and scare me into agreeing to what he wanted and once I had Kate on my team the tide turned. She showed me the utmost respect and made a very difficult situation much easier. Kate handled my custody and support agreements. She was super pro-active from the very start and always prompt, thorough, and clear in her communications with me and with the opposing council. Her background as a district attorney made her unflappable and extremely effective during our court appearance no matter how unpleasant or aggressive opposing council became. Beyond that, Kate took the time to really get to know me and my situation and made sure that what was most important to me became most important to her as she crafted and reviewed agreements and caught potential long-term loopholes due to loose wording, etc. My case took less than a year and I feel like not only were custody and financial agreements been put in place, I feel like there are long term protections in place for me and my child that may have been missed had Kate not been meticulous in her work. One other thing I appreciated about Kate was that she was very direct about what my chances were on various demands and focused me on what was attainable and worth fighting for and kept me away from demands that would prolong the case but have low chance of positive outcome. Very happy with where I ended up.

Kevin is incredibly knowledgable and smart, and he is one of the very few lawyers who can handle high-conflict trial cases well. He is never afraid of litigation and will maximize your chance of winning. He won the restraining order against me in multiday trial. The opposing attorney is highly competitive, and I can see both him and the judge respect Kevin highly for his knowledge of law and litigation skills. He also got what I want for support and custody issues. Yes he is expensive, but he uses my money very efficiently. I highly recommend Kevin for any family cases.

Kevin was recommended to me by my uncle and was at first reluctant about changing my lawyer. You see, it is hard to find a lawyer that will stand for you since I felt that my previous lawyer do not care about me and I just met Kevin but I gave him a chance to show what he is capable of. What has impressed me about Kevin is that he is honest and efficient in tackling the various roadblocks that have come up in my case. Whenever I would present a difficulty or question, he would clearly present to me my options. In addition, he has always had my financial situation and my personal wishes in mind. My friend referred me to Arthur as I was struggling in my case. After my first phone call with Arthur, I decided to choose him as my second attorney immediately. My first attorney did not do good job that make me suffering and dragging my case. Instead, Arthur has very good knowledge that helped me a lot. I hired Arthur for an uncontested divorce. His fees were much lower than another attorney I interviewed. He is friendly and easy to talk to and at times would remind me that he would have to charge me for certain tasks that I could do myself and for other time spent not covered under the original quote. He is very responsive and checked up on me when things were stalled (with my spouse). I communicated with him via phone and mostly email which was very convenient. His advice was practical and realistic, not trying to get more money from my spouse for little things which would've costed me more in fees. I would definitely recommend him for an uncontested divorce.

I was arrested for concealed carry charges and Don did a wonderful job to help me get the best deal. I was going to be convicted of felony in Santa Clara county. Don spoke with the DA and I recieved a deal on my first court date. I was originally going to get a felony but it was reduced to a misdemeanor with court probation for two years and no weapons for 5. He still helps me to this day with anything and everything pertaining to my case. I am in the process of getting my record cleared. If your having trouble with any gun related offenses I would give his office a call. He's just an all around great lawyer.

I first went to see Constance for a case where my juvenile child was requesting new guardianship. We reviewed the situation in full. She stated (basically) that she could represent me (and charge me accordingly); but that there was little difference I (or she) would be able to do in this situation. Now, she could have just taken thousands of my dollars, representing me; but instead she told me the truth and suggested that since I knew the case and was articulate - - that I could represent myself (which I did). Later, Constance represented me in a child support case. The courts were asking me for $1800/mo... with Constance's help, the amount was reduced to $600/mo.

READ THIS if you are looking for a good Immigration Layer... We had a truly wonderful experience with Mr. Castro and his Legal team- it took all of the stress of visa processing away! We worked with Victor and his team, and they were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us. They were always fast but careful and made sure that all of our documentation was correct in every way. We also felt like they cared about us and made sure we got our visa approved (we worked first on my Green card and then with the Naturalization process) and they were so excited for us when it did! It certainly doesn't feel like the scary lawyers I used to picture.
Mr. Castro and his team are honest and what you will pay is a fair price considering all the value that you get from them.
For anyone that is unsure about all the paperwork, having lawyers that really care about you and your situation is an absolute must, and I would recommend Castro Legal.

I am still going through the most difficult and worse time of my entire life dealing with divorce paperwork and a long and drawn out custody battle. Mr. Castro and his professional team at Castro Legal have not only been helpful but very kind to assist me and my family during this time. Even though the final verdict has not been given, I still think it is important to write this review. Mr. Castro deserves to be recognized as one of San Jose's finest attorneys at law. His honesty is his strength and his disposition in court is of a real gentlemen. A quality we do not come across often these days. Natalie was amazing to work with. She fought for me throughout the divorce process. She was understanding, comforting and she was on top of things from the very beginning. My now husband and I were in need of an attorney that could help us with a pre-nupt before our wedding date. We called many family lawyers in the region that either didn't do pre-nupts anymore or didn't want to make the time to help us. We only had three weeks to make it happen and we didn't know there was also a 7-day required waiting period for the State of CA. Where do I begin? I hired Lindsey to help me with child custody/child visitation and couldn't be happier with her services. She is an affordable family law attorney.
