She is incredibly thorough, researched, patient, forward thinking, prepared, empathetic, and always always centers the child's best interest. She'll fight for you while never ever losing sight of the child and has great insight into what a judge is likely to do. She has represented me from issues ranging from a move-away case, school placement, and holiday schedules. Jessica was the calm, smart, and knowlegable friend who protected me and my son when I was scrared, depressed, and angry at end of my relationship with his mother. My son's mother threatened that our son would live with her, and I would only be allowed to see him when she saw fit. I was devastated and demoralized at the idea of not being able to see my son. I was a shambles when I sat down for my first appointment with Jessica. I'd never worked with a lawyer before: was it going to be all business, or could I share my fears, grief? Jessica made space for me to reveal to her the wreck that I was. It was vital to me to show her how important my son was to me, how scared I was by the threats our son's mother had made. She let me know she'd dealt with other fathers as scared as I was, that she understood the fear the legal system can inspire when a parent is already in fight-or-flight mode because of the end of a relationship. Then she walked me step-by-step through how the process goes, never impatient at having to re-explain the details to me. It was also important to me that I remain a “good guy”. I didn't want to do any character assasination to my son's mother, I didn't want to be adversarial in court. Jessica agreed with me, and together we crafted all communications with the opposing counsel, and the court. We won, but even if I hadn't I wouldn't regret having hired Jessica. After my experience with her, I don't believe there is anyone who could have done a better job.

I was ensnared in a corupt child protective services juvenile matter (DCFS) and my 2 children which started in Dec 2007. although it was dragged out in local juvenile court over the next 2 years in a manner which was done as a punitive means by the temp judge- He helped ensure my children weren't taken away thru that time. I knew my civil rights and those of my children's were violated from day 1- I am blessed that he responded to my massive blanketing of law firms, and that he is an expert in the field of suing CPS DCF for violations of rights. I learned that the smartest attorneys, one's that know they would accept a civil rights law suit against a government group but get actively involved at a much earlier stage can work miracles. He made sure my child was never in the care of the unethical people the devil sent. He made sure she was set free from corrupt practices from judges and social services. He is following the land of the laws, he is honoring the Constitution of the United States. Mr. Powell is honoring the Bill Of Rights, puts a stop to violation of citizens 42 U.S.C 1983. Robert represented my ex-wife and was definitely one of the best lawyers I have encountered. My attorney was VERY expensive and I was truly disappointed. She was not able to stand across from Robert in the court room. I had noticed his knowledge in the law and his real life experience combined made one of the best arguments.
Years later I remarried and my current was just finishing her divorce and custody case. Her lawyer at the time was very passive. We hired Robert and let me say what an honor to have him on my side! Aside from what he can do in the court room he is VERY compassionate with his clients, always available and will give you all the facts so that you can make informed decisions about the next steps.

Diego was very calm when handling a case for one of my family members. He was very upfront on what to expect in terms of outcomes and provided the right advice based on his many years of experience that helped my family member get a dismissal with the DA by positioning the case properly and showing evidence that showed my family member was remorseful by submitting evidence of a voluntary class participation, and a letter from the psychologist.

Mr. Diego Macwilliam for me was the right lawyer, at the right time, for my particular situation. He contacted both a government agency and a private company regarding a potential fraud inditement involving me and my families estate concerning overpayment of funds. Without his experience and guidance I personally would have not been able to come to a solution for the two outside parties involved and myself. He made contacts with the two different entities and got them to provide physical representatives to conclude the transactions.
Mr. Diego Macwilliam explained each step of the way clearly and provided me with a time table. He made it possible for me to finalize the entire issue and he brought it to a defused equitable solution.

Karen Hubbell provided my husband and I with excellent legal support in finalizing some lingering issues from his previous marriage. I wish he had gone to Karen from the beginning, instead of using a mediator. So many people wanting an amicable divorce shy away from hiring a lawyer, fearing that it will lead to a court battle or cost a ton of money. However, when you have financial entanglements and children involved, it is imperative to seek help from a lawyer who knows the ins and outs of the legal system and can get it done right - the first time around. We found Karen to be very straightforward and understanding of the approach we wanted to take in getting matters resolved. With her help, we were able to finally lay to rest the custody schedule and financial issues that had been dragging on unresolved for three years after his divorce. I only wish we had gone to her sooner. If we ever have any future issues, Karen Hubbell will be the first person we call.

My friend referred me to Arthur as I was struggling in my case. After my first phone call with Arthur, I decided to choose him as my second attorney immediately. My first attorney did not do good job that make me suffering and dragging my case. Instead, Arthur has very good knowledge that helped me a lot. He always explains in very efficient, patient, and clear way that I can understand what my next step is. My case is relatively complicated but Arthur is always responsive and supporting me fully. He is very practical and realistic and easy to communicate that really make my life easier especially in such complicated case. I hired Arthur for an uncontested divorce. His fees were much lower than another attorney I interviewed. He is friendly and easy to talk to and at times would remind me that he would have to charge me for certain tasks that I could do myself and for other time spent not covered under the original quote. He is very responsive and checked up on me when things were stalled (with my spouse). I communicated with him via phone and mostly email which was very convenient. His advice was practical and realistic, not trying to get more money from my spouse for little things which would've costed me more in fees. I would definitely recommend him for an uncontested divorce.

I was arrested for concealed carry charges and Don did a wonderful job to help me get the best deal. I was going to be convicted of felony in Santa Clara county. Don spoke with the DA and I recieved a deal on my first court date. I was originally going to get a felony but it was reduced to a misdemeanor with court probation for two years and no weapons for 5. He still helps me to this day with anything and everything pertaining to my case. I am in the process of getting my record cleared. If your having trouble with any gun related offenses I would give his office a call. He's just an all around great lawyer.

I first went to see Constance for a case where my juvenile child was requesting new guardianship. We reviewed the situation in full. She stated (basically) that she could represent me (and charge me accordingly); but that there was little difference I (or she) would be able to do in this situation. Now, she could have just taken thousands of my dollars, representing me; but instead she told me the truth and suggested that since I knew the case and was articulate - - that I could represent myself (which I did). Later, Constance represented me in a child support case. The courts were asking me for $1800/mo... with Constance's help, the amount was reduced to $600/mo.

They talked with me, analyzed my case and presented the options, and went to work to get issues resolved. Where do I begin? I hired Lindsey to help me with child custody/child visitation and couldn't be happier with her services. She is an affordable family law attorney.
