As a medical-legal expert myself for more than ten years, I thought I could deal with the other party's lawyer in a family law case supposed to be very simple. I was deadly wrong as no family law case is too simple!!!
After interviewing four other trial lawyers, I finally met with Stan who kindly and ultimately turned my life for the better. I wish I had called Mr. Bartelmie early 2012 when his name was given by a patient of mine. Stan is an honest and kind GENTLEMAN. His words are always felt calming and edifying. Peggy did an excellent job of covering all the bases for me. If she wasn't sure of the answer, she immediately addressed it. She is quite knowledgeable and approaches things with a great sense of organization. Because she has stepped in for a judge occasionally, she works very well in the court room with any judge I have seen her with. She shows great respect to the judges as she does to her clients. She always puts her client first. One will always feel fortunate to have her representing them and on their side. She is definiately not afraid to speak up on her clients behave.She handled both my divorce and lawsuit/dispute case for me.

Sandra is amazing and a master at listening to my concerns about representing what I need to ensure the safety of my daughter's well being. Mr. Shebby began handling my case about seven years ago. In that time he has provided invaluable advice and guidance from a disputed divorce settlement transitioning to custody issues.
In the beginning, Mr. Shebby was very honest with me about his experience and had been very fair with his billing. Being pregnant and unable to work (a biological hazardous lab technician) to a sleep deprived could not find employment single mother, I struggled to pay all of my legal bills; Mr. Shebby did not stop representing me nor sending it for collection. Instead, he set up an installment plan with me. His legal secretary is very punctual. She took care of the paperwork and kept up with all the submission deadlines to court. There was not an instance where we missed a court appearance or response to a filing.
It was an incredibly stressful and trying time for me, Mr. Shebby was and continues to be exceedingly supportive and successful. Mr. Shebby won an argue for an ex parte move away order in my case, getting permission from the court to move out of state with a minor child in a custody dispute is very, very rare. I am greatly indebt to Mr. Shebby. He had allowing me to have a new start in life with my child again.

Preston worked in collaboration with David on the negotiations of my Marital Settlement agreement (when it became evident that I wouldn't be able to continue the divorce process on my own) all the way until the filed-endorsed copies of the Judgment arrived and the transactions of assets agreed upon were completed.
The process of finding a lawyer in such a difficult personal time was very overwhelming, I talked with a couple more divorce lawyers before contacting the FKK&B LLP firm and I will forever be grateful for having been able to hire their service.
They were very patient with me when explaining my options, their ability to use hard cold facts to negotiate with opposing counsel was always on point and effective, their attention to detail, fast and clear communication to resolve my doubts (not just from them but from the Paralegal, Julia Morris) allowed me to maintain my peace of mind and stay focused on protecting my assets the best possible way, without doing any rushed actions. It took us about 10 months to fully settle and sign the agreement, I know that it would had taken me way longer if I'd attempted to negotiate on my own, I couldn't have done it without them.
I think they did a terrific job, you're in good hands with this team, would recommend them any day.

Do not use this law incompetent group. They had a fine raised from 234$ to 360$ when representing me, simply could not ask for body camera footage when they were asked to, muchless cannot pick up their phone 90% of the time after a case is “dealt with”. I’ve gone through 8 different lawyers in my life even 3 star lawyers who presented and executed 10 times better and this law firm. I’m warning anyone who’s going through a simple traffic violation to not go through them. You will thank me in the long run

I went through years of litigation and switched attorneys several times because my prior attorneys did not respond to emails or articulate my position to the other side or judge. Lydia completely turned my case around and we were able to settle before trial.
