I have used two other firms before this one and it always ended badly.
I hired Hannah Gurewitz to help me a single father modify my parenting plan and child support I was owed. With Hannah’s help you could call it a win by landslide. I thought for sure being a man things would never go in my favor but I was wrong. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this woman. Not only does she take a personalized approach to each client, she goes above and beyond to make sure needs are met and questions are answered. Andrea is professional in all aspects as it comes to her profession. Her attitude was superb, she was kind supportive and has a pleasing personality & I think a good sense of humor. Her skills, are modern and up to date, email, voicemail.

I hired David Braswell as my attorney while going through my separation, which turned into a divorce, and needed a parenting plan, child support, etc. He took the time to respond to any questions I had or expressed concerns about and help me understand the legal process. My husband and I hired Leslie after consulting with multiple lawyers about our complicated case seeking de facto parentage of our daughter. De facto parentage is a relatively new statute, and we wanted someone who was knowledgeable about this area of the law and felt confident navigating it. It was very clear from our consultation with her that Leslie was who we needed to tackle our case. Hands down the best law firm out there! I contacted Attorney Scott Marlow last minute and he was by far, the friendliest, most helpful attorney in the area. Scott Marlow and his paralegal, Deborah Long, acted swiftly and effectively when preparing for my case. Perhaps the thing that impressed me most about Scott Marlow was that nothing was "sugar coated.” When you are in financial distress it is difficult to think clearly and make good decisions. He was very straight forward and told me what to expect each step of the way. There were no empty promises made just to keep the client happy, which I know sometimes occurs when seeking counsel.

Fighting against a narcissist (ex) for my current husband to adopt my son was not going to be a fun or easy road, but Scott was ready to face the challenge and assured me that he would give it his all. Lindsey was fantastic. I started out trying to do the whole agreement myself and she gave me tons of guidance before I even decided to hire her. Once I realized the asset pieces were over my head, and I needed a professional, she and the team at Bliss made everything so easy for me. From the moment I reached out to Bliss Law Group, I felt genuinely cared for in all my interactions. Whether it was the legal intake team, Attorney Rogers Paralegal Ashley and of course Attorney Rogers herself, I continually felt supported.
She is caring but Attorney Rogers is also a highly skilled attorney. The commissioner in my hearing even stated as much.
My initial consultation with her was very thorough and she laid out a plan from the get-go. I could tell she would be well prepared if I ended up with her as my counsel. I didn't realize how fortunate I was to find her at the time. Over the course of the next month, as she was helping me fight a DVPO brought against me, she was responsive, always answered any questions I had in a timely matter and helped guide me through the process. This was the first time in my life I had had to hire a lawyer and I am so grateful it was her.
The DVPO ended up getting dismissed in full. On top of that, because my declaration, supporting documents and Attorrney Rogers arguments at the hearing were so well done, the commissioner was able to see through the lies and was even able to recognize how my SO was using manipulative and coercive techniques as part of his case.

I hired Heather to represent me when I was in the middle of an emotional and contested separation. My case involved many moving parts, including a spouse in the military, a military deployment and subsequent relocation, a long distance child custody agreement, and my own personal out of state relocation - all happening mid-divorce. Heather is an amazing attorney. I'm military and my daughters mother is also which increases the difficulty of the case in my opinion. I was trying to keep my daughter in Washington where she attends school while my ex-wife was set on returning from overseas and moving out of state with her. The original divorce case was occurred out of state which further complicated things. Heather was able to get everything I was asking which ultimately benefited my daughter the most. We were referred to Chelsea once it was clear our case would be going to court and we could not afford our previous attorney. Immediately after our first consultation, we felt empowered and relieved. Chelsea was always prepared, and was also very patient with us and addressed every concern we ever had. Look no further. If you can get her, hire her immediately! Jamie Walker was my second attorney in a complicated divorce/annulment case. After wasting money on an attorney initially, I didn't intend to hire Jamie, only consult her, because I didn't think I could afford her. She impressed me so much with her knowledge, even keeled and pragmatic approach, that I knew I had to hire her no matter the cost. She went right to work, immediately springing into action filing motions and advocating for me. She went above and beyond my expectations. Not once did she waste my time with back and forth emails that could have been quick phones calls. She only communicated and billed when necessary.
This was my first time ever needing an attorney and here is the lesson I learned: When you actually do need an attorney, you cannot afford to choose the "cheaper" option. It will cost you.
Jamie bills higher than most attorneys because she is by far the best, sharpest, most proactive, effective, organized, and brilliant attorney you will find. Her experience and working knowledge impressed me beyond belief. Without Jamie, I do not even want to think about the kind of settlement I would be paying. She has an impressive legal team surrounding her who are equally responsive, proactive, organized, and smart.

Jamie and her team are total experts with family law. I've dealt with a lot of family law attorneys over the past year and a half, so I have some perspective on this. Frankly, the majority I've worked with were incredibly unethical, super untrustworthy and just disinterested in actually following the law, but not Jamie and her team. I do not state this lightly.
She doesn't back down even under a lot of stress on tough cases, her fees were very reasonable, and she's unbiased. She's the real deal, and she works in nearby counties. Don't waste time hiring someone you will just need to fire after they mess up your case and cost you a bunch of money. Go for the real thing.
Also remember, you get what you pay for with family law attorneys. It's not cheap to hire the best. I feel that I got every dime of value from the money I spent hiring her.

Cathie was only on my case briefly due to circumstances beyond our control, however, as soon as I met her I felt comfortable, listened to, and hopeful. She was prompt in responding to me and with court documents needing to be addressed. (I have worked with other lawyers who took their time to get things done and often did not keep the other parties informed of new developments.) Filing bankruptcy can be a stressful and humiliating time. My husband and I never dreamed we would ever even have to contemplate such a thing, but there we were, facing the harsh reality of a chapter 7. You see, my husband and I have always worked multiple jobs, prided ourselves on being hard workers! I'm an RN and he's an Aircraft Mechanic. Mr. Sutherland was amazing!! I had worked with another attorney for over a year who did not help me or listen to my needs! Within 4 weeks of hiring Tim, he had changed my situation for the better!!! He always called me back (often calling me before I had a chance to call him) and was very honest and realistic with my case. He took my case at the last minute was very understanding about finances.
