For the past five years my husband and I have been clients of Anton Garcia Law. There are not enough words to describe the absolutely phenomenal professionals that we have worked with during this time. This firm initially got my husband through his divorce in 2019 from our kids birth mother and then navigated him and I through what has been the toughest, most contentious fight of our lives for custody of our kids.
From 50/50 time-sharing, to emergency orders, to agreements, to contempt’s, to psychological evaluations, to any hearing you can think of, we’ve had to do it and Anton Garcia Law has been there every step of the way providing us with incredible counsel to lead us to success. Dealing with legal family matters is stressful enough but every single person who has been a part of our journey has been unbelievably professional and helpful.
Christina Garcia has been the best lawyer we could have ever asked for. She brings unmatched knowledge of family law and intellect with creative strategy to formulate a plan that is tailored to fit your case while never compromising integrity or credibility. We can say without a doubt that we had by far the most unorthodox situation she has dealt with. And yet, she lead us masterfully towards my husband getting full custody of our kids and then ultimately I, initially their stepmother, being able to adopt them. And now I am proud to legally be able to call my kids my own and be their Mom!
In addition to Christina every person employed at Anton Garcia demonstrates the same level of professionalism and expertise. Ashley Hobson, another lawyer at the firm, stepped in and stepped up to facilitate the road to getting us to adoption. She is incredibly smart, caring, and passionate about what she does. Alisa and Linda are also amazing and so communicative and responsive about all the administrative needs and responsibilities.
Most importantly, along with the legal aspect, Anton Garcia Law treats you like family. Every person there cares about the clients. From calls and emails after hours or on weekends or even during their scheduled time off, flexibility with meeting times, they respond and are always thinking about how to help you and your situation. They have worked with us countless times with our legal fees and financials as well further showing their focus is doing whatever they can for you and your family however they can do it. They have gotten to know us and our kids and truly care not only about winning for their client but the well being of them and their families.
After our adoption hearing, Christina had gift bags for each of our kids with things in there from what we had told her about their interests as well as flowers, a card and a ballon. The whole office congratulated us. It is truly a family oriented business and we were shocked and overwhelmed with joy by their kindness and thoughtfulness on our special day.
As you can see, I and my family, can’t say enough good things about Anton Garcia Law. They have been an integral part in our family and truly saving our kids lives. When I finally came to the realization that my marriage needed to end I did not know the uphill battle that I would have to endure for the next 3 years, when the divorce was finally over. My ex, a big narcissist, was cheating on and emotionally abusing me so I thought it would be easy. He did not want to be with me right? How wrong I was. He needed me to keep on serving him so he was doing everything in his power to complicate things, delaying things and procedures, documents, not showing documents, lying, changing lawyers ….. you name it.
I had the blessing from God and my therapist who recommended me to the office of Christina Garcia-Anton.
Stephanie Pletcher was not only my lawyer for all that time but also my therapist, my friend, and my support. She listened to me she comforted me, she made me feel protected and not alone. Richard is very professional and personable. My situation was complex. Many jurisdictions and asset classes. It is rare you will find a divorce lawyer with his background and ability to understand complex securities related issues. I fired three lawyers before I found him. Best decision I made in my whole divorce process was hiring him. I highly recommend Richard to anyone going through a divorce process. Richard has become a friend and I know he had my interests all the way through the process.
