I contacted Matt’s office based on a few recommendations from friends. I had consulted with a few other highly reputable family law offices in town first and when I spoke with Matt’s group, they took the time to answer my very detailed questions and gave me case examples to make me feel more comfortable. I wasn’t rushed off the phone or given short answers. I had a unique situation that involved a paternity suit as well as real estate. Matt was able to navigate through the complicated portion of my case with ease. He was also able to offer solutions when I would get upset with the actions of the other side and help me get to a resolution faster. Although no one ever gets exactly what they want when it comes to a lawsuit, the outcome was suitable for me. My situation could have been a thousand times worse had I not had Matt and Alex on my side. Their experience really set them aside from the other lawyers in town and helped my case settle in an agreeable manner. At every step Matthew and Emily H. were very attentive to every detail and way more more knowledgeable and accurate than my counterpart ex-husband’s lawyers.
Every question and email was answered appropriately and in a timely manner. With superb professionalism the entire deal went smoothly.
Both parties were happy with the final results and the divorce was finalized in less than 6 months. Matthew was recommended to me and I would highly recommend him and his team for domestic relations dispute.

Teresa is an amazingly gifted attorney with a supreme knowledge of the law that plays out epically in the court room. She knew exactly what to do with my case even after all other attorneys I spoke with said my case was too complicated. I would like to just give praise to my attorney, Teresa. She has been a life save throughout the roughest time in my life. There is nothing beautiful about divorce! Regardless of who initiates the divorce, it's down-right awful. Fortunately, I was referred to Ky Koch. Ky made me feel like I was more than just a client. I felt an immediate connection to him, which allowed me to trust him from the get-go. I felt like Ky truly had my best interest at heart. Choosing someone to represent you can be a very scary process. After inquiring with a few lawyers, I hired Marcia to represent me in a custody suit. There are attorneys, and then there’s Ms. Locke. She’s one of a kind. I highly recommended Ms. Locke. I had a very difficult divorce case. Ms. Locke was not the first attorney with whom I had spoken. I had interviewed several attorneys and was very frustrated and didn’t know what to do. I knew I had the right attorney when Ms. Locke not only listened but heard me. She was upfront and honest about all the challenges in my case…believe me I had a lot of them. She is intelligent, knowledgeable and leaves nothing to chance. I had a particularly strange divorce case being my now ex was in prison at the time. Ms. Locke was recommended to me by a friend who had her in their very difficult divorce case and described her has brilliant, tenacious, and had a big heart. Ms. Locke was that and so much more. She was so kind and understanding to me in my situation. She is intelligent, she didn't sugar coat anything, and always responded quickly to any questions I had (and I had a lot). She took my case to heart and moved it along as quickly as she possibly could but never forgetting any details. I always felt like I was in the loop with every step that happened. I live out of state, but due to a contentious contract litigation case I needed a local attorney who I knew would represent me just the same as if I lived in the area. Although I strive to be a self-sufficient person, there comes a point where hiring a professional is the smart thing to do, especially with legal matters. Well, I reached that point; I needed a lawyer.
Ron Denman produced quick results. It was clear that he knew this particular aspect of the law fluently. He developed a sound, assertive legal strategy and communicated it to me in a way that made sense to me. As events unfolded, he adapted our strategy to suit new circumstances which increased our plan's effectiveness. In the end, the strategy had worked- I walked away achieving the ideal outcome.
Another thing that was notable to me: he approached my situation as if he was representing himself. When it comes down to it, it was one of the main reasons that I hired him. I had met with plenty of lawyers, and they all had the right qualifications and plenty of experience. But, I left my initial meeting with Ron feeling that I could trust him to get the job done. That's a big deal. I was obviously looking for someone who was qualified and capable, but what I really wanted was someone who was going to stand up for me and be there every step of the way. There were an incredible amount of stressors throughout the duration of the case, and it made all the difference feeling like the situation was being taken care of.
Since the resolution of my situation, I have thankfully not needed legal representation, but I can say that if I did, I would definitely work with Ron again. Thanks Ron!

Mark Rodriguez represented me when I took my ex-husband back to court for non-payment of child support and other violations of our divorce agreement. It was a complicated case, because my two children were involved in a cross complaint my ex-husband filed, accusing me of blocking his shared custody. Mark Rodriguez handled everything with confidence. He was obviously well respected by everyone in court, including the judge. I am positive that his competence, demeanor and reputation was what convinced my ex to settle things in mediation. He agreed to everything I wanted and dropped all of his cross complaints. Mark Rodriguez made sure to follow up with the opposing lawyer as well, and made sure everything was carried out as we had agreed in the mediation. I could not possibly have asked for more. I am so happy that I contacted Derek to help me with my divorce. I had spent a ton of money retaining a lawyer prior to reaching out to Derek, and ultimately didn't get the assistance I needed. When I contacted him, I was at my wit's end, emotionally, dealing with financial strain, unhelpful professionals, on top of a painful divorce situation. I had been dealing with a very difficult divorce situation, and I needed a lawyer that would listen, understand, work with me as opposed to overide me, and keep me up to date and informed with a challenging situation.
I spent weeks and then some searching for the right lawyer, and then upon a recommendation from a friend found Derek Lucas.
I explained my complex and complicated situation to Derek, and he picked up on it right away, and agreed to work with me in the way I wanted and needed, and lastly we agreed on a fair and reasonable payment for the services. Derek lived up to all of my expectations.
Derek kept me up to date as requested and as he agreed.
The case was concluded in a satisfactory way.
I would highly recommend Dereek and his firm to anyone, and in fact I have referred him to several other potential clients already. Needless to say the next time I need a lawyer for law that he handles, I will be calling upon Derek Lucas again.

I was rerferred to Mr. Lucas by a friend, another lawyer who didn't handle the type of law I needed. I could not be more pleased. His fee was reasonable and he was very patient throughout the whole divorce process which became unavoidably drawn out. Erin Hardister is without a doubt, the brightest attorney out there. Because of her, My Boys will now have the opportunity to go to college. A simple "Thank you" to her in no way would suffice. She is VERY bright, and I Thank God that she's not like other attorneys out there who're just out to get a big lump sum of money and put no effort into it. She is not a 9 to 5'er like most that have represented me in this case that's dragged on for more than 7 years, and I've had some with more than 20 years under their belt, but that means nothing if you're scared to rebut the state and stand up and actually talk to the judge, versus being a scared puppet. I mean, what attorney would send you an email at 10:00pm, OR be willing to take your phone call? This case started in May of 2012. I've had several attorneys. I hired her mid April of 2019, and YESTERDAY, May 1st, she did what all those other attorneys didn't and couldn't do. My Boys are My Absolute EVERYTHING, and because of her, they now will have the Opportunity to go to college. I have no doubt that regardless of whether it was Family Law or Criminal Law, Erin would be on her game......I can truly see her one day being a judge, and a fair one at that, but I'd hope that she'd stay as an attorney so the smart ones that hire her can actually get the help and JUSTICE that they (and their kids if they are in a Family Law Case) deserve!!! In just a couple weeks she did what 3 others couldn't do in 7 years!!! God Blessed My Boys and I with finding and hiring her!! I mean He truly BLESSED My Boys and I cause as previously stated, she's not a 9 to 5'er........she's all in looking to and hitting home runs!!! With Erin's knowledge of the law, hard work, quick actions, constant communication (even on weekends) and commitment to doing what is right and ethical, the children were returned within a week. and parental issues resolved, resulting in a happy ending, which I know is rare. From the beginning, Erin was welcoming, understanding, honest, fair, committed to doing what was right and in the best interest of the children, while protecting my son's rights, as a father. She is well-versed in the laws and consistently communicated everything that was happening as it unfolded. You will not find another attorney that has such an affordable retainer with reasonable fees, that will work harder than Erin did. I filed for divorce in 2005. It took over 3 years to finally get my dissolution of marriage completed in 2008.
Since, 2011 I have basically been litigated against by my ex-wife and her new attorney non-stop. My other attorney (who was also a family friend) quit because she got tired of handling it and I started handling everything Pro Se.
In June 2016, I finally had enough and asked another attorney friend of mine to a family a referral. He recommended the office of Christine Derr. Christine put Kim Hamill on the case.
I want to tell you that Kim is probably the most capable, most well prepared attorney that I have every worked with.
Kim meticulously researched and countered all the opposing attorney's issues, resulting in ALL his motions basically being denied. As a result the case, that has dragged on for YEARS now looks to finally be coming to an end even though Kim has only been on a case a short time.
I emphatically recommend Kim Hamill for any family law case that you may have. I am sure she is probably just as capable in other areas of law as well but I have not personally see her in those areas.

I literally set out to find somewhere to write a review for Jim Mancuso, because he certainly earned it, so read on about our personal experience with this attorney.....
How I actually met Jim was due to the fact that Billy, my step-son, had been hanging around with the wrong crowd for some time, and unfortunately ended up in serious trouble and landed his butt in jail. Almost 2 months after he got arrested I decided to make an effort to help him versus just letting him sit there in jail, which was my initial outlook cause I figured it 'might' straighten his butt up this time, but home life drastically changed, and my wife just seemed so distant and resentful towards me that I could no longer take it.......so I gave in.
I'd consulted with several attorneys, and I'd liked Jim's attitude and outlook right away. He was very professional, and the fact that he didn't seem to be kissing butt just because I was holding his paycheck really set him apart from the others, and that was a big plus for me cause it didn't seem like a 'show'. He'd told me that he wasn't a miracle worker, nor would he pretend to be, but he would certainly do his absolute best and provide the best possible representation. Right after I'd hired him, despite the fact that his public attorney, the one they afford in jail, wasn't able to get his bail lowered, Jim was able to get his bail significantly lowered, so we'd paid his bond, he was released, and my home life became better instantly. Praise the Lord for that!
Anyways, he'd been facing a total of 5 years, and the prosecutors had been offering him something like 23 months because of his prior record. It might've been 21 months, but I'm pretty sure it was 23. Regardless of the exact number, before trial, he did make a miracle happen in our eyes because he got the prosecutors to drop his charge to something lesser, which resulted in time served (from what I understand the almost 2 months that he was in jail was counted as his total sentence).
One thing I forgot to mention is that before I'd hired Jim I'd flat-out asked, "Why do you charge so much less than the others that I'd consulted with?" He says, "Well, I understand that this is the real world, and I know that not everyone is made of money, but with that being said, the sad truth is that most people think that the more you pay for something, the better it's going to be, and that's just really not the case. The average price of a book at Barnes and Noble is probably around $14.99, but I assure you there's many books there that are just as good, if not better, priced around $9.99. Everyone deserves a defense, and I just try to make it a little more attainable, that's all." To me that was a remarkable statement, and right after that I'd wrote the check and he'd never veered from being the true professional that I'd met.
Anyways, the reason I set out to write this is because my wife is extremely happy, as am I, as Billy just left here a little while ago with my grandson, and he truly seems like a changed man with renewed hope for the future, and though I know Jim's not responsible for his change, I do factually know that he would've been going away to prison for some years without him, and for that I would very highly, without a doubt, recommend Jim to anyone who has a loved one going through hard times in the legal system!
