I was referred to Lexie Larkin through my best friend in Tampa and used Lexie for a prenup and Will, power of attorney, health care directive, and living will for estate planning. I was super impressed with her professionalism and knowledge on both family law and estate planning. Her pricing and fees were reasonable, super straight forward and well worth it. Her experience in both family law and estate planning was great because she could let me know how the prenup could impact estate planning issues and I don’t think other lawyers could have done that. I really enjoyed working with her and how everything was easily done remotely by zoom, email, and phone. I was across the state and she was able to set up everything remotely. Highly recommend!

Alexa did an excellent job redoing our wills and adding a trust to it for less than we paid for the original one. she pointed out things that made our protection for our kids stronger when we pass away. We were in and out in about a month and probably could have even done quicker if we got the documents to her faster. it was all done on zoom or phone so we did not have to go to her office unless we wanted to do that. it saved time and money. we only had to pay one fee for her services and then for the notary that came to our house to do the signing. That was easy too. I really recommend her if you want to make sure your will is done right. she is worth the money you spend.

After my name change was approved without using a lawyer, I found out I needed to get it amended to include my birth name. The court order listed only my married name so I was unable to change my birth certificate. I started the amendment process on my own, but contacted Adam after I moved. He was able to change it to virtual court hearings. My amended name change was approved immediately once we had the court hearing with the judge. Ultimately, I wish I had contacted him sooner, before starting the name change. It is not as easy as it seems on your own. I would have saved on time, money, and stress.

I wish there were 10 stars or 100 to rate Mark Howard.I called Mark on very short notice. Less than a week before my court date,in which the case has been on going for almost three years with a different lawyer I hired. My previous lawyer practically left me hanging and Mark picked up all the pieces. I kid you not this man educated himself on my child support modification case within hours! I hired him on Friday,my case was 4 days after, which means he even worked the weekend to get caught up on my case. He was constantly communicating with me,as well as his assistant. They kept me informed at all times. He did for me in a matter of hours what my previous lawyer couldn't do in years. I was at ease, fully trusted Mark to the point that I could have let him make decisions for me because the interest of me and my kids were his top priority. He showed me outlines of everything he did, he called me and reached out to explain every possibility in my case and any outcome that may or may not happen. His assistant Joni was also very professional and always kept contact to inform me of any thing regarding my case. I cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for this lawyer and the staff. Finding the right attorney can be a challenge, especially for a strong personality client (i.e. me). It was very important that I found someone not only extremely capable of dealing with my case but also dealing with me. I needed someone to support me when i was on the right train of thought, or advise me when I wasn't.

Mr. Gonzalez has been there for me fighting my paternal rights as a dad. Mr. Gonzalez has help me get 40 % with my child. He has done alot with this case even it took a while, but I was hanging in and Melissa always kept my family up to date on how the case was coming. If it wasn't for my family finding Mr. Gonzalez I probably wouldn't have any custodial rights on my child. I would recommend Mr. Jose Gonzalez as a good and knowledge lawyer. In the most shocking and paralyzing time of my life, Mindi Lasley and her team came to bat for me in such a profound way. I hired her for what I knew would be a litigation blood bath in a child custody case. I knew the opposing side would try every trick in the book...and Mindi was ready.
Mindi is bright, sharp, intuitive, and bold. At our first mediation, the opposition came in and demanded everything. I'll never forget Mindi roaring, "We aren't agreeing to any of that!" I knew in that moment that I was in really good hands.I felt protected and empowered.
Throughout our very long, drawn-out case, Mindi and her team made sure to advise me on all of the big things and all of the small things. I appreciated her insight on how to respond (and how not respond) to unreasonable emails, requests, and accusations. I contacted Julia, when my ex had just threatened divorce. I'm so grateful that I took the time to call, get the info I needed and feel some peace. I had hoped that I would never need to call back. However, when he pulled the trigger, I was on it and Julia was ready to go.
She gave me a very realistic honest picture of what to expect, as best that anyone can do, not knowing how my ex and the Opposing team would show up.
In Mediation, Julia was unflappable!! The OC was yelling and screaming (when we they had to interact) and Julia was calm and cool. When his team tried to pull punches, she was right there was an answer and proposing things for my defense. for example, when my Ex wanted to divide the upfront alimony into two payments - 6 months apart, within nanoseconds, she agreed "with interest and here's that interest amount as of today". Wow, that alone yielded me an additional $11K in my settlement. She was timely in her replies and her legal assistant was amazing to work with. We had TWO long days of mediation, and she was incredible throughout the entire time! I'm oh so grateful!

Julia is literally a Godsend-- I was at my breaking point facing criminal contempt charges on a short-term (7 year) no children divorce proceedings -- 6 years of depositions and 19 Request for Production of Documents (no privacy ever- had to provide my credit card and bank statements every 4 months)
I was beaten down and severely depressed not to mention the financial stress of 6 years of contentious divorce hearings and two trials and an appeal later-- Julia came into my life to defend me on the Criminal Contempt charges- yes, I was facing 6 months- to 1 year in jail for not being able to make money during COVID and pay the Temp Support Order which had not been in place for 6 years.. What is Temporary about that?
I was very frustrated and lacked confidence in the legal process, courts and lawyers when Julia asked me to trust her.
This was easier said than done as I had heard those same words from four (4) previous attorneys who all made my case worse-- not better. Julia held my hand and allowed me to cry and be frustrated while continuing to move forward cleaning up the mess that was created by previous counsel and a court system that was not caught up to dealing with a Pandemic.
14 months after meeting Julia-- she had cleaned up the mess and officially ended the 6 plus years and Malicious prosecution from my Ex Wife's attorney who only saw Dollars in his eyes when he saw me.
I have the luxury now of looking back in hindsight and ask myself often how much different the last 6 years would have been had I known and hired Julia from the start?

There are but a hand full of people in my life that I can say have changed the course of my life. Deborah Moss is one of these people. I was placed under arrest for DUI after being caught sleeping in my vehicle and since I had a prior DUI at a minimum I was facing a couple of weeks in jail at a maximum upwards of 9 months. I was terrified, I had just graduated law school and was about to take the Florida Bar and having this arrest on the books absolutely devastated all of my future plans that I had worked so hard towards.
Since this was not my first time hiring an attorney my wife and I began an intense process of seeking counsel through interviewing lawyers, reading reviews, word of mouth, you name it. After some time we came across Mrs. Moss and we were impressed by everything we saw and heard. From the beginning during our initial consultation she was extremely honest with me as it pertained to what I was facing. She told me it would be an uphill battle but that she would be there every step of the way (and boy was she!!)
After over a year of attempting to strike a deal with the state we were left with no other choice but to set a date for trial by jury. If you have never been through such an experience I can tell you it is terrifying. The entire process can be quite overwhelming and there are so many factors that can contribute to a verdict either going your way or against you. Mrs. Moss knows this, and she made sure that I was a part of every decision that we made as it related to my defense and when it was something I did not understand she always took the time to explain it to me, I always knew what was going on with my case and what I needed to be doing thanks to her.
As for the trial all I can say is wow! Her years of experience shined through during every part of the trial. Whether it was jury selection or her taking apart a police officers testimony on the stand she was nothing short of remarkable. Watching her during the trial brought a comfort to me that I had not felt since this all started, I knew that nobody could defend me better that she could. She fought for me as if I was her own family, and when your going up against the government which has unlimited resources to hire expert witnesses, subpoena officers, etc. you need someone who is going to take the matter personally and that was exactly what Mrs. Moss did. After two grueling days of testimony, exhibits, 10+ witness, the matter went to the jury and within 15 minutes the verdict was back, Not Guilty.
Mrs. Moss is the consummate professional not only would I use her again in the future but I would recommend her to my closest loved ones. If you are looking for an attorney that is going to fight on your behalf with the same vigor that you would defend yourself with, then Deborah Moss is the lawyer you have been looking for. Whether the matter is working itself through the pre-trial process when attempting to strike a deal with the state or when there is no choice but to go to trial Deborah Moss is an expert in the entire legal process. Given how stressful the entire legal process can be you will always have the satisfaction of knowing that you have the best of the best in your corner. My family and I will forever be indebted to Mrs. Moss for what she did for us, this an attorney that does not back down from a fight!

Debra was able to help my son out of a jam with his drivers license. He was charged with a DUI, and a high speed. Between Debra and her assistant Bonnie, we were in communication each phase of the proceedings. Our outcome was the best possible scenario. Debra was able to have the speeding ticket dropped, and the DUI charge reduced to a reckless with no points. Debra also took the time to answer all of my son's phone calls that he had concerning his driving privilege and possible outcomes for his future.

Town home community. All homes are given 1 parking permit. I had visit one day, and ran out of parking spots, so I photocopied my parking permit. The tow truck company found out and towed two cars (Car with OG parking permit and car with photocopied one) AND it broke into my car and removed my original parking permit.
The HOA and members of the board refused to allow me to purchase a parking permit for my home (despite it NOT being in the rules). The rules did not say that a Parking Permit could be revoked via decision of the board, so I contacted DJS Law Group for help.
After months of emails, letters, and conversations between DJS Law Group, the members of the board, HOA management company and the attorney representing the Members of the board, DJS Law Group was able to help me get my parking permit back, and I’m very thankful for their involvement. I wouldn’t have been able to have a parking permit again without their help.

Jim is amazing! He spends his time fighting for father's rights, and for men who want to be part of their children's lives. My ex-wife didn't want me to have any visitation and tried all kinds of crazy ideas. Jim took each one in stride, disproved them in court, and I actually ended up with more visitation that I started out asking for. Ms. Jacobs worked with my Dad to write his will, so I also hired her to handle his estate. Upon notifying her of my father's passing, she informed me of what I immediately needed to do, and to put together a list of questions for our initial meeting.
