I will never regret walking through the doors of this office for help! Dawn Korman and her team were outstanding! I had a lot of concerns and during the initial consultation Dawn laid out what to expect throughout the legal process and educated me on what steps should be taken. It's hard to understand everything sometimes as the arduous process is going along, but as everything came together towards the end, I realized that I had chosen the right team to represent my family. Custody issues can be extremely hard on everyone and having this law office in our corner was amazing. We will always be grateful for the great job they did!

We cannot say enough good things about Mr. Carter. He handled an adoption for us and the children loved him. Actually, he was appointed by the 321st District Court to represent our children. He met with them and really listened to what they had to say. My daughter still tells people she has her own attorney:) Anyway, Mr. Carter was prompt, caring and thorough. He is also very smart. He pointed some things out to us we had not thought about. He came out to our house and then brought a gift to the children on adoption day. JAMES CARTER could not have made that day any more special. Thank you Mr. Carter for caring so much for our children!

I hired Mr. Carter to remove a child that was not my son’s child from his child support responsibility and to have money that was paid directly to my son’s ex-wife removed from the arrears on his child support (we had the signed Affidavits of Direct Payment). Mr. Carter appears to have a good working relationship with the AG’s Office and he and his assistant, Sarah Harris, did an excellent job with resolving the issues. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has issues in Family Court in Smith County

I hired Mr. Carter for a custody case involving my grandchildren and their mother. Even though Mr. Carter could have went in with "guns blazing" with all of the evidence we had, he handled our case in such a way that we are now able to have our grandchildren live with us AND continue to have a relationship with our daughter. We thought we would have to choose one or the other, but he genuinely cared about our family and was able to keep it together. We can't thank Mr. Carter enough for all of the things he did for us.

After endlessly searching for an attorney in the Houston area to take my dental personal injury case and having zero success, I located Andrew. I suffered injuries when a dentist extracted an incorrect tooth and then proceeded to perform a root canal on an infected tooth which resulted in the loss of that tooth as well. Due to the current laws which protect dental negligence in Texas, I could not locate an attorney willing to take on m case. Andrew was the exception and I am grateful to have found him. He took on my case with a passion and was both diligent and assertive in negotiating with the insurance adjuster to ensure I received the most benefit from my injuries. Even after becoming inpatient in the lengthy process, Andrew assured me that by continuing negotiations it would better my outcome. He was absolutely right. Mr. Neel was recommended through a friend and has been a pleasure working with to spearhead my immigration process. Ivan was very honest and very comforting during our initial meeting. He explained clearly how the process would play out and any alternative options just in case. He worked tirelessly on our case and always delivered on a timely manner. He is very intuitive and it shows how he manages any set backs. It certainly displays his mastery of the craft. Although he does have a very demanding schedule, all questions and phone calls were promptly answered. I hired Mr. De la Rosa after my first attorney had been suspended to practice law. I needed an attorney to present me for the final trial of my custody case that had been going on for 1 1/2 years. It was complicated as I was fighting for my granddaughter. He had less than 2 weeks to prepare and when we went to court it was as if he was my attorney throughout the entire process. I was blessed he was able to represent me in and I am forever grateful for the outcome. I would highly recommend him for representation. I just wish I had come to him sooner.

I was in a custody dispute with the mother of my child, were I was seeking full custody. After apperaing in court multiple times, the Judge brought Ms. Moman in to mediate over the case. Ms. Moman an the staff are very professional, and available to anwser any concerns or questions. Ms, Moman was through, completing house visit's, reviewing school documents, and interviewing all parties involved including my daughter. As a lawyer myself, I was very picky about who would represent me when I needed it most. Like others, I initially made the mistake of hiring a low-cost attorney. And I got what I paid for so I fired him. My next lawyer was much more expensive. More expensive must mean he's a better lawyer, right? No. In fact, not only did he not learn the facts of my file, but the final straw that led to his firing just before mediation was that he didn't even take the time to learn my kids' names. With mediation looming I found myself without a lawyer so I called Marie. Marie was a study partner of mine in law school so I was initially hesitant to share so much of my personal story with her. But I quickly realized that was an unfounded concern because Marie has been nothing but professional, discreet, sensitive and caring and all while doing a fantastic job of representing my interests as good, or better than anyone else had before - especially that expensive lawyer! Bottom line: Marie will zealously advocate for you, provide you practical advice and do so in manner that helps you get through the difficult time AND she will learn you kids' names. You cannot go wrong with Marie in your corner. Attorney Brent Hill is like that one friend you have, who instead of telling you what you want to hear, tells you what you need to hear. We retained Brent Hill less than a week before our hearing. I am the mother of a special needs child, and was served to go to court regarding my daughters medical needs. My ex wanted to take all medical rights away from me. My daughter had a stroke at age 3 and has miraculous medical progress in the last 4 year. Taking me out of the picture as far as her medical needs and decisions would’ve been extremely detrimental to her health. We met Brent and retained him on a Thursday and our court day was the following Tuesday. We only had time for one meeting the night before court. With limited time and limited information to work with, he derailed the petitioner’s case. We are so so grateful to Brent!!!! I highly recommend him for any family law case. He is highly capable and intelligent. He clearly had a sincere desire to fight for us and the results are evidence of this!!!!!

My partner and had our children ripped from us without warning. It was a complicated and not a common case for any attorney - especially in a conservative state and city like Houston, TX. The odds were stacked up against us from the moment our children were taken away from our home by the other party. One lawyer we consulted with told us straight up and forward, " You will not win. She will win; but you can try and give it a shot". This partcular lawyer had 25 years experience in family law. Needless to say, we were not surprised. We understood this case wasn't for any everyday lawyer. Our case required a skilled, talented, and confident lawyer. A lawyer with a combination of experience and natural ability and skills set to work this case. From the moment we initally spoke to Ashley, we knew she was the one! Mr. Trioni has defended me in his best ability with my case. I am amazed how the outcome of the case is turning out. I highly recommend Mr. Anthony P. Troiani to anyone who needs legal advice. I can honestly say I trust him and felt throughout the long process, he truly cared for my case as if it were his own.I was charged and jailed, alleged DWI. Shortly thereafter made my phone call and phoned a friend who left a message after hours with Mr. Troiani' s office. Mr Troiani contacted the jail personnel, exchanged information with authorities and a left message for myself all before 8:00 a.m. This city was not home for Mr. Troiani or myself. He continued to gather information from the DA, multiple expert witnesses’ documents, made multiple court dates requiring plane travel. He communicated well and established rapport with prosecutors, as if they were his home town friends and resolved the case without my receiving a trial, DWI conviction, probation, community service, and only a $100.00 fine and minimal court costs. I feel confident that this fine would have been avoided had I risked a jury trial and spent several more months waiting on a trial.

Ok I just read the previous review titled "Don't Fall for It" and it's completely false. Sarah is an amazing lawyer who deeply cares about all her clients and who's law firm is client-centered and focuses on all aspects of your case. As her client, I was provided with frequent updates about my case and always treated with kindness and respect. Sarah is honest with you about your case, and sometimes that's hard to deal with, especially in family law matters. But Sarah knows she has to "tell you like it is" so you are prepared to deal with the emotional aspects of your case. Sarah and her staff worked hard to ensure that I was well taken care of legally and emotionally by providing me with legal counseling and referring me and my children to a family therapist to handle the emotional roller coaster that a family law case can be. I know some people might get angry because they lose their case, so they blame their lawyer and write a bad review filled with lies and false allegations. That's not fair, especially when you have a lawyer as compassionate and professional as Sarah Keathley. She is the best in the business if you want a lawyer who genuinely cares about her clients and the outcome of her cases. Before I learned about Calabrese Huff through an attorney friend, I had hired four different attorneys to handle my case involving child custody and visitation. When I met Dawn, I knew I had found the right person. I hired Dawn immediately because she impressed me in consultation with her intelligence, kindness, care and wit. She was the first lawyer who I felt from the beginning believed me and had confidence in me. Dawn is lovely, kind-hearted, witty, intelligent and funny. I felt very comfortable talking to her. I needed someone who would bring lightness to the situation; it helps in this kind of matter to have someone who can make you laugh. At the same time, I knew my case required someone who was not going to be fooled by the opposing party’s lies and manipulations, someone who would go directly for those lies and expose them. Dawn did just that. She became an absolute expert on my case: her grasp of detail is astounding. My only initial concern was that she might not be tough enough, but Dawn proved me wrong. I located Mark through Avvo.com. I was skeptical to pay $39 for 15 min of advice. It was worth every penny! If you are looking for an attorney who listens...REALLY listens to your concern and isn't in a rush he is your guy. He not only answered my concern regarding custody but also asked me qualifying questions to ensure he knew the wording in my divorce decree to make sure he gave me correct information. I met with Jere a few months ago, in a simple consultation, and he was fantastic. Marjorie is a no-nonsense, compassionate professional. She goes above and beyond to get things done and does it with such gusto you wonder what that tornado was that just passed you in the hallway! An ugly divorce with a psychotic ex-wife and a beautiful child that was being used as pawn, she was filing for full custody. Marjorie stood by our side, gave us the best advice and represented us even on occasions that we were unable to appear in court, due to being out of state. We maintained custody of the son, we now have our legal visitation and even though we still have to deal with the psycho ex-wife, we keep it to a minimum and enjoy the time we have. Marjorie is smart, compassionate and caring. She knows the law and is experienced in all aspects. I have worked with her the last 3 years on two separate cases and she impressed me greatly. Most family law cases settle out of court and she has great expertise in mediation and settlement issues. Although, Marjorie impressed me the most in the court room. Finding a family law attorney is important but finding one with court room experience is hard to come by. She truly cares about her clients and fights for you. I called Ted for my immigration case and he was courteous from the get-go. He treated me like a real human being during the telephone consultation and not like just another case as other lawyers I had spoken to did. This was what encouraged me to meet with him. He listened attentively and told me what my options were without the usual scare tactics that other lawyers employ to make a case seem complicated and fleece you out of more money. One of his paralegals Eleazar, is also a wonderful guy and friendly. He was my liaison and was very meticulous and thorough. Long story short, my case was resolved successfully within four months of filing the application, and my green card was approved. Overall a very positive experience.

I am a contractor for medical testing. A company I worked for owed me for testing I had done over a period of several months - but refused to pay. I tried over and over to work it out with them but they still refused. Finally I told them I would have to take legal action, to which they replied fine, we'll see you in court. Their attorney sent me several legal documents including a demand for the small claims court judge to drop the case. I didn't know what to do. I was afraid I would lose several months of my income. A friend of mine referred me to Byron Barclay. Mr. Barclay was a great relief. He took the stress of dealing with the lawsuit and their intimidation away from me. We moved the case out of small claims into the big arena, and I was no longer on the defensive. Mr. Barlcay continued to press them for information and to justify their refusal to pay, all the while keeping me apprised of the situation and asking how I would like to continue. In the end, the company settled the case out of court and I was able to recover my lost wages in full. For me, the stress relief and knowing I was able to recover the much need pay has been a great blessing. I would recommend Byron Barclay to anyone in need

Mr. Barclay represented me in a suit I brought against a service provider who deceived me and mistreated me. The suit was complicated because the "injury" spanned a fifteen year time horizon.
