I consulted with Mike on a family law matter and he was very frank with me about my options. Rather than try to sell me his services, he consulted me according to my best interests. The service that Mrs. Norah-Davis gave me on my case was great. After being in a car accident where I was hit from behind at a very high speed, I had incurred lower back pain due to the impact. Mrs. Norah-Davis dealt with the insurance companies and made sure none of the medical expenses were paid for out of pocket since I was not at fault for this accident. All of my physical therapy sessions were paid through my settlement as well as receiving a settlement check to compensate for the pain I endured well after the accident occurred. Judge Negron acted as my attorney for a child custody case regarding my son. I strongly desired an attorney that would understand what was happening with my son and myself. My experience with other attorneys had been initially pleasant. But they usually wanted just enough of what they thought was important and then moved on; as if I was not needed anymore. Since this could not be anymore personal, having to do with my son, it was extremely important that my attorney understood me as well as any legalities. I wanted someone who could speak to me as a father and family man, not just a legal client. Judge Negron was a perfect fit. Things would only get better from there.
Judge Negron asked questions that were pertinent, but was open to listening as well. He covered all aspects that might be helpful in bringing my son back into our lives. Judge Negron was very helpful in explaining what we would be facing. He made it clear what he could do and what I could do to help. Victor was forthright in what to expect throughout the proceedings. I was especially pleased to find out that he did not have to be "tracked" down. He was easy to contact and made himself available accordingly. All the while, Judge Negron was genuine in his concern for my son and myself.
Once the time came to be at court, Victor was completely dependable and astute. He was extremely thorough and covered all aspects of concern. He aimed for the best outcome at all times. Though the circumstances were trying and stressful, Judge Negron brought calm and confidence. The outcome was a success. My son and I have now been together ever since.
My son and I will forever be indebted to Victor for the time, effort, and concern he gave us. We thank God for placing in him in our path; providence at work. Judge Victor Negron will always be in our prayers. There are more details that point to the providential nature of this case. I first met Meagan Block when I need assistance with my divorce. I had filled out all appropriate but I did not want to wait the 4 months to be seen by a judge. Instead I hired Meagan to walk my final petition in front of the judge to be signed. She was reasonably priced and helped me through every step by making sure I was prepared with what was to come. I reached out to Paula when I was in dire need of guidance and changes I needed to make to my child custody orders in order to move. My orders were with the Dallas court system so the job was not as easy, but she took on the challenge with open arms. First let me just say, when someones life gets turned upside down and inside out in a blink of an eye, it makes the accused, their loved ones and everyone else go through a bit of emotions/stages that one shouldn't go through in a lifetime much less in a matter of days . Add the fact that one doesn't have the funds to hire a lawyer. A court appointed attorney is then assigned. I don't know about anyone else but I have heard nothing but negative things about court appointed attorneys. Judd was acourt appointed attorney and he did an absolutely amazing job. Not only did he help win our case he also made us feel comfortable with him and told us the scary truth from the get go. We went to trial and he worked overtime I'm sure.

Barbara was on my original divorce case in 2012 and has recently represented me on a enforcement issue around child support. She really knows her stuff and does not give false hope about the situation. However, she is also very kind, compassionate and really cares about what happens with the kids in these situations. My case on it's face looked very straightforward but it turned out to be very difficult and time consuming. She stuck with me through 3 difficult mediations and always had her eye on the final outcome. She was always focused on the long term picture and was very good at keeping me from getting stuck in the small stuff. I would highly recommend her as an attorney and a mediator. There's a myth as one searches for a great family lawyer that in order to get results, you have to hire a bad *** - who will treat your former spouse (and probably you) like dirt, but it will be worth it because you will get results. Joe is proof that you can work with a fantastic, caring human being and still get the tough negotiation skills needed to get the results you desire.

Joe was recommended to me by a Defense Attorney whom I trust and respect as "the one I would go to if it was my Divorce." Joe 'literally' does Family Law , as both his Son and Daughter followed him into his profession and are the second and third Attorneys in the Milner Law Firm. As Bob Bowman, a Mediator, put it: "I couldn't think of a better recommendation than to have your own kids want to work for you!" Joe was attentive, concerned, and supportative, and more importantly, was perceptive as to the attack plan of the opposing Counsel and how to counteract it. He also was able to uncover deceptions and expose false statements made by my Ex during deposition. Mark Mansfield helped me out so much and I can’t thank him enough. I was at one of the lowest points of my life. I had to leave my husband of 16 years. He was drinking so much, he had drank for a long time but by that time he was up to two of those huge bottles of whiskey a day, the economy size. I kept having to call the ambulance on him, when he would fall and not be able to get up. Then he started taking so many ambien with his drinking, when I left and took our 6 year old daughter, I never went back. I had had enough. I took my minivan, the cat, our clothes and went to my best friends, she took us in. My husband would no longer work or hold a job, he was having his liquor delivered into the house, and he was living off his mom’s social security and retirement fund. I got a bonus at work and went to his office and he helped me file for divorce. He was so kind in helping me, like he really understood what I was going through. There were a lot of different things to file for my daughter, he totally helped me to file the proper paperwork. He helped me learn how to use Dropbox, I had so much video proof of his drinking. It was hard to have to share custody of my daughter with him but the courts said that since he lived with his mother she could be the guardian, I hated it. In the middle of everything Covid struck and all the courts closed. So when court finally happened we had to do it in his conference room over zoom. He made it in my custody papers that we had to meet at a police station to exchange our daughter, guess what? My husband never showed one time to pick her up. When I found out my husband was on drugs I told him and he knew exactly what to do, he made me call CPS and tell them. So they had to do an investigation and it really helped my case. My whole goal was to keep my daughter safe. Mark did so much to help me. It takes time but in the long run it’s better, you think this divorce is never going to happen. Mine never did happen, my husband died exactly one year from when I left him, he drank so much he got pancreintitis and he died. There were a lot of other things I could go on and on about that he did for me and my little girl. But basically he had my back and did everything to keep her safe. He was always kind, informative, very understanding…but most importantly, he knew the law and how to help me. I’m thankful now that the divorce never happened, if I ever get into a jam and lose my job I am able to collect spousal benefits from social security, that sure comes in handy when your a single mom trying to raise a daughter. I couldn’t say more about him, just know he’s on your side and will get the job done, He always has your best interest at heart. ❤️
