I will forever appreciate his help and guidance through it all. This man is a man of great wisdom and he never one gave me the run around of anything. He spoke with firmness and with such clarity and I really needed that. Ex was abusive and it was scary trying to break away from that and save my little girl from growing in that mess. Mr. Foust was willing, able and ready to fight with me and for the mods of my case. Together we got our custody agreement overturned from my ex husband to me. He was there every step of the way and never left me to defend myself. He's very law savvy and knows all the loop holes not to fall into. Not only did we win the case thanks to him, but he was also able to collect the moment allotted to us in the settlement! With nothing illegal in my background of fifty (50) years and a sudden case making no progress, Eric Jensen was the only attorney to answer my plea. I wanted someone out of my county, did not know him but we met at his office on Sunday afternoon. It had been seven (7) horrible months since I had gotten a Class A Misdemeanor. An additional charge, not included in the arrest had been added six (6) months later. Meeting with Eric on Sunday afternoon put us in the adjoining county court that next morning and the matters were settled due to his exceptional ability to present. Mr. Jensen also represented me in a divorce case two years later where I was the defendant. Representing me for what appeared to be a rather simple divorce, the matter turned in to a complicated case that included division of several companies. Mr. Jensen immediately secured a monthly maintenance fee for my living expenses and again voluntarily traveled to a neighboring county for the hearings. The demeanor displayed was always one of professionalism, preparedness and presented in a manner so factual that opposing attorneys, while displeased to be incorrect, had no choice but to agree with Mr. Jensen. At times he had to deliver information to me that was not pleasant, but he and his lovely Madeline made those few times less stressful, offering the issue succinctly followed by several suggestions to be considered for conclusion on the particular matter.
Always prepared, always timely, available to me at times out of the ordinary and exhibiting confidence at every appearance no matter the county or opposing attorney, Mr. Jensen and his representation for me made times that could have been very despairing in to times of experiencing gains in my personal strength and reassurance of valuable coping skills which one sometimes loses when faced with such complex legal matters. All in all I do not think there is a better team to handle any legal matter thank Mr. Jensen and Madeline. The professionalism, knowledge, assurance and ability to convey comfort to the client along with a record of winning cases are traits everyone wants in their attorney. Eric Jensen possesses and has displayed them all.

I hired Mr. Merritt to represent me in my divorce. As scary as a situation as divorce can be, Mr. Merritt was very knowledgeable and professional from the start. He patiently walked me through the process (multiple times) which can be very confusing to someone who isn't familiar with legal jargon. Decided I needed to hire an attorney, after a local healthcare provider served me with A lawsuit after non-payment for services. Having health care insurance and never going without lapse in coverage was a little blindsided by this. Wendi Andino was a great advocate in my case, she was able to proof negligence on the behalf of the healthcare provider and not billing my insurance in the required time therefore causing The claim to be rejected. I interviewed over twenty attorneys before selecting Mr. McChesney. His vocal artillery is lethal in the courtroom. To behold my ex caught in a lie and unable to speak on the witness stand was priceless. I have never seen my ex speechless and Matt accomplished that feat like stealth tiger stalking his prey unnoticed; until the pounce and quick death bite. The classic line from Matt when my ex couldn't talk and was staring off into space was, "Your Honor, witness unresponsive"! The judge even cracked a smile and it took everything I had to keep from rolling on the floor and laughing hysterically. Matt is so unassuming and likable while questioning the opposition has no idea the brutal take down is coming. Literally, my ex was in shock and could not speak. Do not let Mr. McChesney's young age and appearance fool you, he is the most capable litigator I have ever seen! This kid is going to be a legal star. After getting not possession at all, thinking of the worse outcome possible for my daughter and me I went from no possession at all to the unexpected; I got half the time and child support. This attorney is a wonderful human being, very professional, efficient, smart and fair. For my own experience I can tell you that this woman is so great at what she does that she can achieve the impossible. My experience with attorneys has not always been good. In going through my divorce I had to fire my first attorney because she failed to meet deadlines and didn't have the acuity to grasp the intricacies of my case. My case was complex, involved the control of a business and we were facing unscrupulous opposition who had no problem perjuring themselves multiple times.
Once I hired Ben things changed. Billing was honest and reasonable. Ben handled himself well in multiple hearings against a barrage of misinformation.
I wish Ben had been the first attorney I hired. It would have saved me a lot of money. Ben was able to grasp the right legal argument at the right time in order show the judge the information and the precedents that would guide his decisions.
My divorce is now final. I kept control of the business and reached an acceptable settlement. The settlement became possible only because opposing counsel was not successful in selling their position to the judge.
Opposing counsel told my X to settle because she wasn't going to trial. It was a long drawn out process because what opposing counsel was asking for was not reasonable and they were distorting the facts.
Part of opposing counsels strategy was to cause me so much financial pain I would pay anything to stop the bleeding. It was only through Ben's competence and integrity that I was able to survive the process.
I give Ben my highest recommendation that is backed up with the war stories to prove his legal skills.

I have had Kay as my family law attorney since 2009 and she has been the most amazing advocate and supporter. As a father I was under the mistaken belief that my rights as a father were subservient to my ex-wife's rights as a mother. Kay completely transformed my opinion with exceptional legal knowledge and explanations. Whether in emails, phone calls, or in-person meetings, she is always providing me with the best legal knowledge.
Two recent cases come to mind. My divorce decree (which I hadn't had a lawyer review!) gave me less-than what I was legally entitled under Texas Law. Kay helped me pursue a modification to grant me Expanded Standard Possession. Based on being a great father she said I would have absolutely no difficulties winning this. She attempted to negotiate directly with my ex-wife's attorney, but unfortunately my ex-wife's attorney was more interested in padding the bill and delayed and delayed and wouldn't respond to emails or calls from Kay. She also attempted trickery to keep the case from moving forward. We just met roadblock after roadblock with my ex's lawyer. Finally we get a court day and her lawyer attempts to get the case dismissed on a technicality, even though Kay was certain we'd had an agreement. The judge was pissed with her attorney and denied the motion, but time had run out on our slot so he sent us to mediation. 1.5 years after it all began we got to mediation and the mediator (a former judge in the very court we'd been in earlier) told my ex-wife point-bland "If this goes to court, your husband is going to get everything he's asking for, so you'd be best advised to settle this here." Which was exactly what Kay had told me 1.5 years before (and I had told my ex 1.5 years before). If my ex's lawyer had been like Kay, it would have been resolved in 20 minutes.
The second case was when my son turned 12 and decided he wanted to live with me. Again Kay gave me great advice, even way back when he asked when he was 11 and Kay said, "Nothing we can do now, wait until he's 12. Call me in a year and we can start." How awesome is that?? A shady lawyer would have found some excuse to start billing me, but Kay is not like that. Now that my son is 12 Kay's work has been stellar. I am so happy with her work and support. She is very cost conscious and always looks for ways to keep the bill to a minimum. Added to that, her billable rate is relatively low. For the quality of the service, her billable rate is an absolute steal!! She explained to me exactly how the court looks at situations like this and how they would likely rule (in our favor!) based on our circumstances. I know if the circumstances weren't in our favor she'd say, "Save your money, you can't win this one."
She is an exceptional family lawyer; kind, knowledgeable and responsive. I highly recommend her.

Kay is not like that; she took a very personal interest in my case and was a true ally.
