Jon was very professional, personal, and honest.
Jon was clear how the consultation works and how a hiring process works in the beginning. He also took a good time for me to understand its cost, benefits, what a lawyers can do/can not do, and additional resources I could have for my case.
It was my first time trying to hire a lawyer, so I was very nervous, but these explanations by Jon really helped me to relax and helped me to focus on the problems of my case.
When I was entering the office, I felt that my case could be complex, but when I was existing his office, I felt that my case was very simple and easy.

Thankfully I have not needed the services of Millar Legal personally, but I know two others that have. The theme always seems to be that Aaron is a highly skilled attorney, without question, but the difference for them was how personable and compassionate Aaron was during an (obviously) stressful and emotional time. I personally know Aaron through other professional channels and can attest to the fact that he genuinely cares for people, beyond just the courtroom. The other great reviews and testimonials all ring true. Easy call to make.

I began the divorce process in October of 2021. At the time, I had different counsel. Nearly a year into the saga, I was referred to Aaron through another family law attorney. Once I hired Aaron, I knew I had the right attorney.
My case was very high conflict. Aaron would ask my thoughts and ideas on the best way to navigate all the roadblocks that were thrown our way. Aaron was always calm. He was a voice of reason. He would ask questions to ensure he understood what I needed. Aaron did not always agree with me. When we didn’t agree, he explained his position and the most likely outcome. He was quick to return emails or phone calls. I could count on a response within 24-48 hours.
My case ultimately ended up at trial. I appreciated Aaron’s honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. He was very thoughtful with all of the motions and exhibits he presented to the Court, as he understood the Court does not have a lot of time to spend on each case. At trial, Aaron was able to take hundreds of pages of information and display them on a spreadsheet that was easy for everyone, including the judge, to understand. During the first day of trial, the Judge held up Aaron’s spreadsheet specific to alimony. It detailed previous martial expenses, current expenses and predicted expenses. The Judge shook it above his head while exclaiming that is how it should be done! While making his ruling, the Judge once again commented how helpful Aaron’s presentation was in determining alimony. Aaron was always in control: control of himself, control of the room, control of the issues, control of the evidence.
Aaron was able to get me full physical and legal custody of my 16 year old, he successfully negotiated that she determine parent time and secured more alimony than I ever wanted or expected.
Aaron and I made a great team. Normally I would approach Aaron with a solution to the latest problem. Aaron was always open to my ideas; he wasn’t threatened by my involvement. I had some ideas that were unconventional but checked off all of the boxes when it came to the law. Aaron was willing to advocate for me even though he didn’t know what the outcome would be. Aaron was very methodical. He was not ego driven. Aaron did what was best for his client, not what was the easiest or most popular. Whether he agreed with me or not, Aaron would always hear me out. My prior counsel dismissed me even when I had what ultimately became the winning strategy.
I will always recommend Millar Legal to anyone that finds themself needing legal representation, specifically in a high conflict divorce case.

My son was in a lot of trouble. Everyone kept telling us that he was going to get prison time.
He was in a relationship with someone who got a protective order against him based off of of false information. She would then call and report that he wasn't following the protective order anytime she would get upset with him and he kept being arrested.
Nathan was able to ask us the important questions quickly and come up with a plan. He would give me a list of what he needed from us such as witness letters and any other type of evidence proving that what she was saying was untrue.
My son was able to get out of going to prison, and instead got adult probation.
If you want to reduce what sentence you could possibly get I would highly recommend selecting Nathan as your attorney.

Spencer and Liz (paralegal) are a fantastic team. I'm understating their importance to each other. I'm a firm believer they compliment each other very well.
Spencer was hired as a guardian ad litem. The recommendation came from the attorney of my son's mother to use him to represent my son. So I owe him a huge thank you. For those who may be unfamiliar, the purpose of a guardian ad litem is to represent the minor's best interest. Spencer was detailed and thorough. He met with my son on multiple occasions. He spoke with additional professionals who offered perspective. A recommendation wasn't rendered until Spencer felt he had as many answers to the questions as he needed before making a decision. I'm grateful and appreciative he choose to be thorough and exhaustive in the process.
Fast forward to the final result, my son is now in my custody.

Kayla is competent, kind and honest. What else could you ask for in a lawyer. If you read through her reviews they are almost all five stars for a reason. When I first saw all the five star reviews I thought they might be fake, but after working with Kayla I can tell you they are not. Kayla works incredibly hard and like many other people have mentioned she makes herself available. On average I probably only had to wait 2 to 3 days for a response. If it ever took longer it was because she was either in mediation or trial. Kayla even made time to talk to me over the phone when realistically we could have completed what we needed over email. If I remember correctly, 95% of Kayla's clients settle in mediation and my case settled in one mediation session. Had I hired any other lawyer I doubt that settling in one mediation session would have been possible. Working with Kayla was a very positive experience for me. Not only is she very easy to work with but she also is a very kind and carrying person. Divorce is such a stressful time and Kayla is very sensitive to your needs. She took the time to help comfort me and help me feel good about the decisions I was making. She is so competent that this comes easily and naturally for her. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better lawyer!

I just went through one of the worst 3 year divorce processess you could imagine. David was my second attorney that I hired about a year ago and I would give anything to make him my first attorney for the following reasons.
#1. I got more accomplished with him in the second half of my divorce by a huge margin than I did with my first attorney.
#2. He did it all for less than 20% of what I had paid my other attorney because he WILL NOT nickel and dime you in anyway shape and form. Do not be fooled by other attorney's who may charge a smaller retainer because that means nothing when they are calling you every week asking to refill the retainer because they have exchausted it over useless crap. David doesn't do that. He will tell you (at least a ballpark) of what its gonna cost and he will stick to it regardless of what happens.
#3 If you are shopping for a divorce lawyer you are about to enter a purgatory you cannot imagine. As far as divorce attorney's go (and I went through one horrible one and shopped around for 4 months to find the right one for my second) he is the closest thing you will find to a rope to get you out of hell. Especially if you are a loving father fighting for your rights, and get custody of your child(ren) from a snake of an ex-wife who wants nothing more than to destroy you.
#4. My divorce lasted 28 months. I hired David 20 months into the process and he got more accomplished in the last 8 months than the previous months combined. (and for far less money)
#5. Probably the most important part of all of this is that David is a pitbull to fight for your rights. (and be advised that his argumentative and abrasive nature might actually get you in a heated discussion or two between the two of you...but I promise you that is exactly what you want in a divorce attorney. David is that way all the time and he WILL use that same ferocity against opposing council and the judge). Do not be turned off by his bluntness, and realism. It is exactly what you are looking for to get you fair justice in a divorce case. Even on the parts of your case you don't end up winning (because you can't control what a judge will do) he will make the best possible arguments to fight for you and what is yours(and he's so good he WILL get most of it), and he will do it with full knowledge of the law and absolute resolve to get everything he can for you.
#6 He is FULLY COMPETENT at everything in divorce law and proceedure and all of that. He has been in practice for years, and knows the system, the rules, the players (other attorneys and the judges) and exactly the right and aggressive way to get it done.
If you are a father like me fighting for your rights to get custody of your child, and not have to pay your x-wife every dime you've ever had to get it....STOP SHOPPING FOR ATTORNEYS and hire David. I will say it again...I wish to God I had found him from the beginning.

David Pedrazas represented my boyfriend in a Divorce/Custody. He's now ex wife had taken his 4 children across country and prohibited the kids to have any relationship with my boyfriend for almost 2 years, we had to hire a Private investigator and had no luck until his oldest contacted him behind the mothers back. The ex wife justified her actions in court by making allegations of domestic abuse. It was a difficult case but David was so knowledgeable, honest and he fought for my boyfriend's truth. At the end the judge granted relocation of the kids and now my boyfriend has sole physical custody of his kids. I can't express enough how much he helped our family and how grateful we are for him. I really believe without him we wouldn't have won this case, he basically got everything my boyfriend wanted. David really cares about his clients and he's joy at the end of court demonstrated his commitment to bringing the children home. My only regret is that I didn’t meet these men soon enough. I had spent a ton of money on my first lawyer to defend my son on a very complicated case. Without charging me a dime, Greg Smith and Jordan Haycock reviewed our case, did some digging, and met with my son before they even decided to take it over. I AM SO GRATEFUL THEY DID! If I could give Matt 10 stars, I would. We have a Washington case that was transferred to Utah and after a lot of searching for a good attorney, stumbled upon Matt, who previously practiced in WA before moving to Utah. This man is worth every penny and then some. He is professional while also being realistic and keeping humor involved. He has never given us expectations of something that didn't happen. He has fought for us and gotten results in record time that we weren't able to get with previous attorneys. Matt has gotten more results in 1.5 years than we previously managed to get in almost 10 years. He is logical, efficient and has a keen eye for detail. I work in the legal field in WA, but once it was transferred we had to find a Utah attorney so I'm extremely picky and have pretty high standards. Honestly, if you don't hire him it's your loss, and if your ex hires him you're probably screwed. He's that good.

Multiple infractions had piled up against because I was being young,stupid and irresponsible. On a certain day I was taking my truck from one location to another. Marco Brown Is wonderful. He represented me in my divorce and later in a guardianship case for my daughter turning eighteen who has Autism. I would highly recommend him, especially if you need help with a guardianship for a special needs child. He knew exactly how to help. The process was quick and smooth. The cost was minimal. I was in a custody battle for my children for a year and a half. Nothing was happening with the lawyers I was using and they were very expensive. I hired Kristy Hanson to take over very late in the proceedings, I was nervous it might be too late to change lawyers but I needed someone to fight for my children, too much was at stake. Kristy jumped right in, she understood the situation, she was available when we needed her, and returned calls promptly even after business hours. Took the time to explain everything. She formed a plan and carried it out. With the previous lawyers I had to constantly check in on them, give them ideas, I felt like I had to tell them everything they should be doing. The only thing you could count on them doing is sending you the bill every month with a follow up call to pay promptly. Kristy was the opposite. She would call me with updates and strategies. In a few short months after I hired her she turned everything around and I got full custody! Kristy is knowledgeable, level headed, she can be as tough as she needs to be and expertly knows how to handle judges and other lawyers.
