Dale was really nice, however, what I hired him for was his legal expertise and he failed me in that area more than once with my case. He forgot to provide notice to the other party, which delayed my case 13 weeks. He forgot to include default judgment language in paperwork which resulted in not obtaining a default judgement when the other party failed to show up to court. Delaying my case again another 4-6 weeks. After he made several errors, I had to keep a close eye on deadlines and when I challenged him, he ignored my concerns. When I confronted him about it all, he spoke to me like I was a child. My experience with Dale was very disappointing that I chose to not hire him for my continued legal issue. In speaking to my new attorney, they pointed out how my current case should have been brought up with the case that Dale handled. He made several mistakes on my case.

I was a pedestrian in a hit-and-run accident. Although the driver was caught, Utah's no-fault law meant I had to cover all my medical bills. Hospitals will treat you, but they only bill your own medical insurance (if you have it) and won’t use the perpetrator’s insurance information, even if you obtain it later.
In my case, my bills exceeded $70,000, but the driver’s insurance only covered $50,000. Without legal representation, you’re responsible for any medical costs that surpass your own coverage and the perpetrator's insurance limits. This is why having an attorney is crucial. Will Andrews was key in negotiating my bills, reducing the excess I owed, and ensuring I received some compensation. It’s a challenging process, especially when the perpetrator has limited coverage, but Will did a fantastic job. He also took the time to clearly explain everything from the start, which I greatly appreciated.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, here’s my advice:
--Log into your patient portal as soon as possible, retrieve all billing and medical records, and send them to Will right away.
--It can take 1-2 months for all bills to appear, so keep checking and provide updates. Always send documents in PDF format and keep copies for your records.
The process is slow—it took over a year for my case to resolve—not because of Will but due to delays from insurance companies and their frequent staff turnover. Will, however, was consistently attentive, asking how I and my family were doing before providing updates.
For example, the Attorney General requested my medical records for the criminal case against the perpetrator. Despite my requesting them promptly, it took nine months for the hospital to send the records in a sealed envelope. By then, Will had already negotiated a settlement with my medical insurance using the information I’d sent him from my patient portal.
Thanks to Will’s diligence and expertise, I received more than I expected. I highly recommend him for his experience, professionalism, and genuine care for his clients.

I was fighting a case against DCFS for neglect when I came across Troy as I was searching for an attorney to represent me. I met with several attorneys before choosing Troy, and the majority would not take on my case as it deals with DCFS. Troy was not hesitant, he let me know he could not guarantee what the outcome would be, but if we did not fight it, we would never know the outcome. I am not disappointed at all. He went above and beyond, he was well prepared at both hearings. He knew exactly what he was doing, and if he didn’t well he still pretended like he did. Spencer was hired as a guardian ad litem. The recommendation came from the attorney of my son's mother to use him to represent my son. So I owe him a huge thank you. For those who may be unfamiliar, the purpose of a guardian ad litem is to represent the minor's best interest. Spencer was detailed and thorough. He met with my son on multiple occasions. He spoke with additional professionals who offered perspective. A recommendation wasn't rendered until Spencer felt he had as many answers to the questions as he needed before making a decision. Kayla is competent, kind and honest. What else could you ask for in a lawyer. If you read through her reviews they are almost all five stars for a reason. When I first saw all the five star reviews I thought they might be fake, but after working with Kayla I can tell you they are not. Kayla works incredibly hard and like many other people have mentioned she makes herself available. On average I probably only had to wait 2 to 3 days for a response. If it ever took longer it was because she was either in mediation or trial. Kayla even made time to talk to me over the phone when realistically we could have completed what we needed over email. If I remember correctly, 95% of Kayla's clients settle in mediation and my case settled in one mediation session. Had I hired any other lawyer I doubt that settling in one mediation session would have been possible. Working with Kayla was a very positive experience for me. Not only is she very easy to work with but she also is a very kind and carrying person. Divorce is such a stressful time and Kayla is very sensitive to your needs. She took the time to help comfort me and help me feel good about the decisions I was making. She is so competent that this comes easily and naturally for her. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better lawyer!

I just went through one of the worst 3 year divorce processess you could imagine. David was my second attorney that I hired about a year ago and I would give anything to make him my first attorney for the following reasons.
#1. I got more accomplished with him in the second half of my divorce by a huge margin than I did with my first attorney.
#2. He did it all for less than 20% of what I had paid my other attorney because he WILL NOT nickel and dime you in anyway shape and form. Do not be fooled by other attorney's who may charge a smaller retainer because that means nothing when they are calling you every week asking to refill the retainer because they have exchausted it over useless crap. David doesn't do that. He will tell you (at least a ballpark) of what its gonna cost and he will stick to it regardless of what happens.
#3 If you are shopping for a divorce lawyer you are about to enter a purgatory you cannot imagine. As far as divorce attorney's go (and I went through one horrible one and shopped around for 4 months to find the right one for my second) he is the closest thing you will find to a rope to get you out of hell. Especially if you are a loving father fighting for your rights, and get custody of your child(ren) from a snake of an ex-wife who wants nothing more than to destroy you.
#4. My divorce lasted 28 months. I hired David 20 months into the process and he got more accomplished in the last 8 months than the previous months combined. (and for far less money)
#5. Probably the most important part of all of this is that David is a pitbull to fight for your rights. (and be advised that his argumentative and abrasive nature might actually get you in a heated discussion or two between the two of you...but I promise you that is exactly what you want in a divorce attorney. David is that way all the time and he WILL use that same ferocity against opposing council and the judge). Do not be turned off by his bluntness, and realism. It is exactly what you are looking for to get you fair justice in a divorce case. Even on the parts of your case you don't end up winning (because you can't control what a judge will do) he will make the best possible arguments to fight for you and what is yours(and he's so good he WILL get most of it), and he will do it with full knowledge of the law and absolute resolve to get everything he can for you.
#6 He is FULLY COMPETENT at everything in divorce law and proceedure and all of that. He has been in practice for years, and knows the system, the rules, the players (other attorneys and the judges) and exactly the right and aggressive way to get it done.
If you are a father like me fighting for your rights to get custody of your child, and not have to pay your x-wife every dime you've ever had to get it....STOP SHOPPING FOR ATTORNEYS and hire David. I will say it again...I wish to God I had found him from the beginning.
If I could give 10 stars I would.
He's very very very good, and he knows exactly what he is doing!!!!

David Pedrazas represented my boyfriend in a Divorce/Custody. He's now ex wife had taken his 4 children across country and prohibited the kids to have any relationship with my boyfriend for almost 2 years, we had to hire a Private investigator and had no luck until his oldest contacted him behind the mothers back. The ex wife justified her actions in court by making allegations of domestic abuse. It was a difficult case but David was so knowledgeable, honest and he fought for my boyfriend's truth. At the end the judge granted relocation of the kids and now my boyfriend has sole physical custody of his kids. I can't express enough how much he helped our family and how grateful we are for him. I really believe without him we wouldn't have won this case, he basically got everything my boyfriend wanted. If I could give Matt 10 stars, I would. We have a Washington case that was transferred to Utah and after a lot of searching for a good attorney, stumbled upon Matt, who previously practiced in WA before moving to Utah. This man is worth every penny and then some. He is professional while also being realistic and keeping humor involved. He has never given us expectations of something that didn't happen. He has fought for us and gotten results in record time that we weren't able to get with previous attorneys. Matt has gotten more results in 1.5 years than we previously managed to get in almost 10 years. He is logical, efficient and has a keen eye for detail. I work in the legal field in WA, but once it was transferred we had to find a Utah attorney so I'm extremely picky and have pretty high standards. Honestly, if you don't hire him it's your loss, and if your ex hires him you're probably screwed. He's that good.

About four years ago I was newly married and had lost my job. On top of losing my job.My driving record was not looking so good. Multiple infractions had piled up against because I was being young,stupid and irresponsible. On a certain day I was taking my truck from one location to another. Marco Brown Is wonderful. He represented me in my divorce and later in a guardianship case for my daughter turning eighteen who has Autism. I would highly recommend him, especially if you need help with a guardianship for a special needs child. He knew exactly how to help. The process was quick and smooth. The cost was minimal. There was so much that needed done for my child as she was about to become an adult, that having Marco take care of the guardianship gave me complete confidence and peace of mind that it was being done right and within the time frame needed. What a terrible experience. Lower retainer fee, but the hourly fee is $400. I got charged for verifying emails were received, for checking up on my slacker attorney, I got billed for time taken when I visited the office to pay in person. I got charged for more administrative garbage than actual case work. This is an absolute money grab while my attorney basically laid down and took a beating any time I needed her. When custody is at risk, a lazy dishonest attorney is the WORST team mate to have. I absolutely regret any and all involvement I had with KKG.
After getting the shaft for 6 months, getting charged at every turn, I fired my attorney and hired one from a different firm - that was the best decision I could have made.

I was embarassed and ashamed of my dui arrest and Mike made me feel like a real person who had just made a mistake.
