Mr. Hart was recommended to me by a family member. They had a very favorable experience with his legal team.
During my experience with him I have had nothing but helpful, honest advice. He has been exceptional in setting realistic expectations about what will happen and how long it will take based on his extensive experience and his decades upon decades of practice . He is transparent as far as charges and has always given me options to lower costs and charges. He and his world-class team are there to help you. Especially worthy of mention is his stellar para-legal, Kate Blackstock.
I followed his advice and had a very favorable outcome. To be frank, a divorce is a difficult, painful, and at times ugly situation. It drags on for far too long and at the end, if you are lucky no one involved is thrilled at the finish. If you hire an exceptional attorney like Rick Hart do yourself a favor and ask lots of questions, share every bit of information and then listen to his advice.

Divorces are always bitter and choosing a good lawyer and a good paralegal is extremely important for this process. Kate and Rick are highly recommended. Lots of reasons for that
- Rick has a lot of experience. He knows other lawyers as well as judges in town so you will know what to expect - good or bad.
- You may not realize right now but paralegals are super important in this process and again Kate and her experience is super helpful.
- My case was unique since before filing I had moved out of state. All discussions happened over phone and emails - no issues at all.
- Even though I was separating I wanted the process and division of property to be fair. Rick is ethical and no nonsense kind of lawyer and worked well in my case.

I hired Wolfgang -- and his paralegal Anthony -- for my divorce case. I had heard rave reviews from another friend who had hired him. The best thing I liked about Wolf was that he is practical. My ex and I were able to negotiate the settlement agreement ourselves, and Wolf supported that idea. "The more you two can work out together without the lawyers talking to each other, the better." I would talk to my ex, we'd come up with a proposal, and I'd run it past Wolf and Anthony. I felt this process decreased the tension and possible animosity between my ex and I.
Wolf knew what battles to fight and which ones to drop. I wanted to see if my ex could pay my property taxes, and Wolf said no. He said I should pay them myself. He was right. Our lawyers could have spent hours arguing over a tax bill. The legal fees would have been more than the tax bill, and in the end, I would likely have had to pay my taxes anyway.
Initially, one of my worries about getting divorced was the expense of a lawyer. I felt like Wolf was not trying to run up my bill, which I really appreciated.

I spent the better part of a year working with Wolfgang and his team (specific callout to his paralegal, Anthony) on my divorce. Despite a long and difficult journey, I always felt heard and taken care of.
Wolf's experience (and reputation) as a divorce attorney in Seattle is second to none. My case greatly benefited from his years of hard work and dedication to divorce law.

During my divorce, I often felt that just about everything that could go wrong, did—everything, that is, except for the phenomenal legal representation that I received from Wolfgang Anderson and his paralegal Anthony Milliken. We had a consult with Tonilynn 2 years ago and absolutely LOVED her..We laughed, had things in common, and she understood our situation and was ready to help. THEN COVID CAME. Courts were at a stand-still and we didn't retain her, thinking we could just pick up now. Attorney Palmer was referred to me by an attorney here in Connecticut that I work closely with. I needed an attorney familiar with Elder Care & Trust issues as well as someone who could be trusted to work with me from a distance since the action took place in Seattle & I live in CT.
John went out of his way to keep me informed prior to our mediation hearing on an ongoing basis. He reviewed volumes of documents and was instrumental in helping me formulate an informed decision on what path I should follow during our mediation hearing. Chelsea came into my parenting plan dispute after I had worked with a previous lawyer. I was blown away by her approach, kindness, and willingness to actually explain the process to me. We were referred to Chelsea once it was clear our case would be going to court and we could not afford our previous attorney. Immediately after our first consultation, we felt empowered and relieved. Chelsea was always prepared, and was also very patient with us and addressed every concern we ever had. The quality we appreciated the most when working with Chelsea is that she does not beat around the bush; she does not blow smoke up your sleeve, she is always very informative and real with you, while also making you feel like you're her only client. This is the second time I tried an uncontested divorce and it went much much better. The first time was through an online "fill in the blank" site that was useless. This firm provides great directions along the way to try to prevent it from becoming contested. I had to give in a little which is fine so I could get it over with. If it did I had options to try to settle it. Bo is honest about the process and all fees, and tells you exactly what to do. There are NO surprise charges or fees. All in all I'd use this firm again, as he did his job admirably.

Mr. Weintraub was my lawyer for a modification of child-support gate. I think he did a really good job of figuring out my former spouses actual income versus what was reported and even corrected Washington State’s calculations. He looked at his finances and tax returns and I think his tax background helped a lot which is one reason I hired him. Other lawyers I consulted didn’t point them out. He has a very helpful staff and was less cost than many others quoted, so I’m very happy with his overall work.

Look no further. If you can get her, hire her immediately! Jamie Walker was my second attorney in a complicated divorce/annulment case. After wasting money on an attorney initially, I didn't intend to hire Jamie, only consult her, because I didn't think I could afford her. She impressed me so much with her knowledge, even keeled and pragmatic approach, that I knew I had to hire her no matter the cost. She went right to work, immediately springing into action filing motions and advocating for me. She went above and beyond my expectations. Not once did she waste my time with back and forth emails that could have been quick phones calls. She only communicated and billed when necessary.
This was my first time ever needing an attorney and here is the lesson I learned: When you actually do need an attorney, you cannot afford to choose the "cheaper" option. It will cost you.
Jamie bills higher than most attorneys because she is by far the best, sharpest, most proactive, effective, organized, and brilliant attorney you will find. Her experience and working knowledge impressed me beyond belief. Without Jamie, I do not even want to think about the kind of settlement I would be paying. She has an impressive legal team surrounding her who are equally responsive, proactive, organized, and smart.

Jamie and her team are total experts with family law. I've dealt with a lot of family law attorneys over the past year and a half, so I have some perspective on this. Frankly, the majority I've worked with were incredibly unethical, super untrustworthy and just disinterested in actually following the law, but not Jamie and her team. I do not state this lightly.
She doesn't back down even under a lot of stress on tough cases, her fees were very reasonable, and she's unbiased. She's the real deal, and she works in nearby counties. Don't waste time hiring someone you will just need to fire after they mess up your case and cost you a bunch of money. Go for the real thing.
Also remember, you get what you pay for with family law attorneys. It's not cheap to hire the best. I feel that I got every dime of value from the money I spent hiring her.

I hired Araceli after my first attorney became a family law commissioner and had to find another attorney for myself. I had dealt with long term emotional and physical abuse and my ex had an ongoing domestic violence case against him. Araceli and team were God sent at a time when I was also dealing with a major health issue and custody issues. They were compassionate and understanding of what I was going through. Araceli listened and understood my point of view when I had concerns. She also was diligent enough to explain some legal aspects of my case. She was honest in explaining outcomes at different stages and that was very important for me. She may not look very aggressive but she is very smart, knows how to negotiate with opposing counsel and extremely hardworking. My name is Will MacHugh. Kirk has been my attorney for the last 3 years on a personal Injury case. He was referred by my business partners friend.
I was in an accident a the end of 2017. I had surgery, and some long term damage to my thumb. Kirk took the time to get to know me, know the doctors, understand the circumstances, and spent diligent time on the case. At no time did I ever feel like calling him 'Mr. Davis'. He's been a friend, who has been on my side, and worked to protect my interest.
He knows insurance, and the court, and he has solid staff. Even during this pandemic, his solid footing in the system got us a position in trial despite the efforts of the insurance company. That effort lead us to a fair victory in court.

I worked with Kirk on a personal injury claim that I was trying to settle myself. He was very helpful in the initial (free) consultation and was generous enough to answer some follow-up questions via email. Dan York was successful at quashing a restraining order against me and replacing it with one that protected me and my child. He showed throughout his work and communication with me to have high moral values. He is energetic and great under fire. Hillary did an amazing job for me. My ex and his lawyer were throwing every curveball imaginable to disrupt, disarm and cause harm to my fragile state of emotional and financial ruin of a left over marriage. Hillary took over after I had to fire my previous lawyer who ran up the bill by responding to every outrageous thing my ex and his lawyer could dream up. I was living in a nightmare and Hillary came to the rescue. She picked up the pieces quickly and supported me as best as she could. She did not overcharge and indeed helped me to save money by letting me know that we didn't have to respond to every little crisis the other team was dreaming up. In the end I was lucky to have walked away with some of things from my nineteen year marriage. I should have hired Hillary from the beginning. She is incredibly smart, thinks on her feet and is supportive of her clients. We had a hard time at court and Hillary admitted it but it was through no fault of her own.
