From our first phone call I knew Megan was the right Attorney to represent me. She was direct and honest; clearly understanding what I was going through before the phone call was even complete. But she was also confident and reassuring. She provided direction for next steps and made sure I knew she was there to help and defend me. I never expected to go through a divorce, so when it happened it was terrifying and disorienting. Megan provided a solid foundation for me to get through the process.
Throughout the divorce Megan was careful to explain my options and to have me make those final decisions, however, she also provided guidance based on her extensive background and knowledge when I asked. Mindy was incredibly knowledgeable about my situation and explained everything clearly about my case, always keeping me updated throughout the process and putting in incredible work which gave me a huge peace of mind.
I was fighting a lot of felony’s and facing major time as I was already a recent prior felon. She put forth dedication and determination to fight for me unlike ANY lawyer I have ever had represent me. Her strong work resulted in an incredible outcome that I didn’t think was even possible with what I was facing.

The decision to get a divorce was the most difficult decision I have ever had to make. There is a roller coaster of emotions that go along with making the decision. Most notably is the fear of not knowing how it will affect your time with your children or how it will impact you financially. Another important factor was the fear of being judged for your decision. Once the decision was made I was referred to the law offices of Hostak, Henzl & Bichler by a friend. I set my first appointment up with Jen and immediately knew that I was in a safe place. My best interest and the interest of my kids was going to be her priority. Once the process was started she kept me informed every step of the way. If I had a question about something she was quick to get back to me with an answer. All important court dates were set up immediately, and I was able to see a light at the end of the tunnel very early on in the process. The same level of support continued after everything was finalized. Jen continued to help me through the allocation of property process until everything was complete. Professional, hardworking, and compassionate are words that I would use to describe Jennifer Hemmer. I strongly recommend giving her a call if you find yourself with a difficult situation and all that is stopping you is fear of the process.

I was guided to Barb from a member of my family. I would highly recommend Miller Legal for your legal needs. I made my appt and met with Barb and discussed the case that was laid at my feet by the county. Long story short, I found out the hard way that you cannot get into a loud verbal argument with your children in Wisconsin. at least not with the possibility of being charged with DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT. after barb reviewed my files and case, she assured me that she firmly believed that i would walk away with at most a small fine. turns out she was a little off, the county dropped the charges all together!!!! Thanks Barb, you are a real LIFE saver!!!

Unfortunately, opposing counsel was so intimidated that they found a way to remove her from my case as conflict of interest due to firm employment circumstances, so of course she referred me to another strong advocate who represents me and my case as well, who I am extremely pleased with! When I needed to get custody of my daughter quickly I was referred to Ginger at Your Family Law Center. She met with my wife and I promptly to discuss the situation we found our daughter in. Not only was she able to find information about my ex and her husband to properly paint the picture of horror my daughter was living in. But with her incredible work we were granted exactly what we needed to provide our daughter with a more stable and healthier home environment. I would highly recommend Ginger, so much so that I have already referred a family member to her services. Ginger was kind and understanding with my ex's situation but demanded no nonsense in the matter of our daughter's safety.

Lindsey was the best thing to happen to me after my divorce. My ex had a large percentage of placement of our child and had been put in a position of power over me, making me feel like I had no option other than to barely see my son and pay an arm and a leg in child support.
After hiring Lindsey (and a lengthy legal battle against my ex) I am in a much better position. She helped me through filing motions, finding compromise, and even communicating with my ex. Jaime was there for me from day one. She guided me through all the paperwork and choices I had to make. Jamie listened when I had questions about the guardian ad luteum and his lawyer. She thoughly explained going to trial and supported me in my decisions. She had to tell me some hard facts that I had to swallow without her I would not have been able to see that was the best thing for me. Ronnie helped me through a HUGE criminal charge. Ronnie was able to turn what was originally a Class C Felony, into a small Misdimenor. I couldn't be more satisfied, he EXCEEDED expectations. What was originally up to 40 years prison, turned into a year of probation WITH expungement! Ronnie kept me well informed, and his assistant kept me updated. When you are going through something as emotional as a divorce, you need someone who is calm, cool and very competent at your side. Mr. Fozard is kind, professional and he stays focused on the goal. My ex-wife went through two different attorneys and both of them tried starting silly arguments with us that quite frankly just rack up the legal fees . . . .. good for the lawyers, bad for the clients. Mr. Fozard shut that down immediately and kept the process moving forward.
Also of note, his communication and follow through are absolutely outstanding. While hopefully I will never need his services again, I know I will be keeping in touch with him, as he is that type of individual!

Hired at 325$ an hour with expectations he'd be motivated, diligent, and accurate was not what I received. He had to be reminded constantly that I was waiting patiently for action. Which I got charged for. He waited so long to act he lost track of details. When asked why he didn't submit documents, he didn't feel it was necessary. He consumed money by making mistakes, I had to correct, then charged me. Failed to gather ALL information given to him so he had to correct and reserve 4 ppl and amended court documents costing me more money. Overall, I wasn't impressed. He was fired, showed up to court anyway then charged me. He must be hard up for $$$. That he has to take money from a single woman that has a limited income to fatten his wallet. This is my perception of my 10month encounter with Steve and $7,000+ dollars later. It took Steve over 9 months to get a court date. Documents only require 20 days to respond. Thats a lot of wasted time. Steve was hire in Feb. I was expect to have the house on the market in the spring. His lackadaisical approach is frustrating. Emails were written and a special meeting was made to get my point across.
Steve didn't need my signature to withdraw from my case. Him showing up for court was an obligation to the court system not me, as he no longer was my employee. He charged me for drive time and the time he waited to tell the judge he was terminated. He's not a stand-up guy in my book.
My advice, go somewhere else.

Atty Koch walked me through every step of my high conflict child custody case. My case was very contentious. He managed my expectations at the first meeting and told me what the most likely custody that I would be awarded. He never sugar coated anything.
He was prompt at returning phone calls and emails.
This was a rough/stressful time in my life and I was confident I would get the results we talked about.
Upon meeting Atty Koch, he made a statement to me that had helped me through the months of the court process “the wheels of justice grind slowly”.... meaning everybody wants court to be done yesterday- including myself.... but that isn’t the case.
Be patient.
If I ever need a lawyer again I already know who I’m calling.

Yolanda defended me in my case, she helped me avoid a jail sentencing. I really do appreciate her hard work with my case. She explained to the judge that my crime wasn't as severe as it seemed and the reasons to why in a very professional way. I was on probation at the time and had violated it unknowingly and she helped explain that to the judge.
