Very bad experience with Rob. Forgot court date and information that I told him. When he presented the DA’s deal to me, he left out details. Not a trial lawyer so be warned. Told me the DA would never dismiss my case but they did because they didn’t have any proof of the false charges I was being charged with.

I came across Nelson law firm as I was preparing to start a trust account. I could just tell during my initial conversation with Drew that he clearly understood the best approach for me to take. He explained every step of the process and encouraged me to ask questions. About 3 weeks after completing the questionnaire with my relevant information I went to his office to complete the process. Long Story Short
Two years ago, there was a major hailstorm in Hudson, WI. I requested a quote to repair the hail damage to my house from a trusted contractor I had used before: Element Exteriors. They came back with a quote of $32,000 to replace siding, gutters and the roof. I submitted my claim to my insurance company. They sent out an Adjuster to appraise the damage. After reviewing their Adjuster's report, they came back with an offer of $2,500 after my $1700 deductible. They didn't see the need for replacement, only minor repairs. Obviously, I disagreed with their assessment since most of my neighborhood had roof, siding and gutters replaced. Most notably, the neighbors on both sides of me.
The State of Wisconsin has a law that if there is a disagreement on the settlement, there must be an Independent Appraisal. My insurance company refused to participate in or authorize an Independent Appraisal, which was against Wisconsin State Law. So, I hired Drew Nelson at Nelson and Lindquist to force my insurance company to comply with Wisconsin Law. After two years of fighting with my insurance company, Drew was able to get my insurance company to agree to an Independent Appraisal. After the Independent Appraisal and engaging in the "Mediation Process", Drew was able to convince my insurance company to pay what we felt the policy required of them and I was able to move forward with the replacement of my roof and siding.

I wanted to write this review and recognize Attorney Joe Bugni and his assistant Trinity for their hard work and dedication in helping my wife and I.
Navigating through the legal system can seem to be an overwhelming task. When my wife and I needed legal help we contacted Mr. Bugni for help. Mr. Bugni sat down with us, took notes, and devised a plan with his assistant Trinity on how best to address our situation. I would NOT recommend Ken Pletcher for anything! I followed all his recommendations and paid him $5,000 yet I went to all 3 of my court dates alone! Before my case was resolved he Quit! Seriously? How can you take my money and do NOTHING and then QUIT!???
My case has been dragging for over a year and is still not over because I had to hire another lawyer.

Sean was not my lawyer however he was my boss's divorce lawyer. Sean worked tirelessly hours on his case fighting for my boss to keep his his business and won. Behind every owner are employees. When an owner goes through a divorce everyone goes through it. Everyone worries about their jobs. Sean made it so my boss was able to keep his business and to top this cake I bought in at 50 percent owner after all said and done! When my now co partner retires I will take on this business. A 30-month legal nightmare of proving my innocence and residency came to an end on May 7, 2024. It was Attorney Donna Jean Kuchler and her team who believed and fought for me during this ordeal. I remember early on when Donna said, "We intend to mount a vigorous defense." I believed in her and she believed in me. There is no one I would trust more than Donna Kuchler and her law firm. They prepared for my court trial filing numerous motions to dismiss, including those that were sent to the Court of Appeals.
Together we fought the fight, ran the race, and I was found not guilty on all 7 felony charges and was fully acquitted by the judge in a court trial. I have my life back. My life is different but I am free.

I had an illegal stalking case in 2007, supposed to get probation, Redfield made an agreement with the DA, but the defendant went on the stand for about an hour & ended up screwed over & convicted.
I stopped in yesterday & spoke with Redfield, but didn't remember him making an agreement.
If she wouldn't have gone on the stand, would have gotten probation.
He is retiring at the end of this month & won't take new cases.

By far the best family law experience I have ever had. I have been battling a custody case for going on 7 years. If we're honest I didn't really have the money to hire an attorney and had been doing it on my own. Well in short I had a couple disgruntled ex gfs and a biased g.a.l. against me. Mr Redfield handled it all very well. I almost felt as if my case was the only case he was handling although I know that wasn't the case. The biggest thing for me was his compassion. He and I talked for hours and hours...all of which he didn't charge me extra money for, as has been my experience with most other lawyers. We discussed a price and he stuck to it. Which was HUGE for me, because if he wanted more money I probably would have been out of luck. In court (which ended up being a 3 day evidentiary hearing) he couldn't have examined/cross examined better. He and I had some different thoughts on the process but I put my trust in him seeing as he's the lawyer. He didn't let me or my son down. In fact he couldn't have done better. If you're dealing with a custody issue choose this guy. You won't regret it. Every man I know feels they don't have a chance in custody court, pick Jared Redfield and you won't feel that way anymore. The cards were against me going in. But he brought to light ALL the facts that really mattered and showed the court what a fathers love truly means. And against the g.a.l. recommendation the judge ruled for me to have primary placement and sole custody. Which is truly what is in my sons best interest. From me and my kids. THANK YOU Jared.

From the outset Jared was a true professional. I was entering into what became an extremely difficult divorce case which was further complicated by my loss of job and an opposing attorney that would say and do anything his client wished regardless of facts. Jared will listen and advise accordingly. His calming demeanor helped me when things were at there most difficult. Jared is compassionate and actively cared about me during the whole process. There were hard times for me personally and Jared was there to listen and give comforting expert guidance and a plan forward. After a hard fought case, Jared prevailed and won the case. I can’t say enough good things about Sean and his staff. I had a very messy divorce. I worked with another lawyer for seven months and he did very little for me except continually remind me that Wisconsin was a 50/50 state and that even though I brought significant assets into the marriage while my ex had, none, I earned about three times more during the marriage, and we were only married for a short time, I was going to have split everything 50/50 with him. He pressured me to agree to a very bad mediation deal.
Luckily, before having the judge finalize the mediation agreement, I came across Sean‘s reviews on Google. I wasn’t just looking at how many stars he was given but I read what people wrote about him. People repeatedly commented on his commitment, his dedication, and going the extra mile. I made an appointment for a consultation with Sean. Within the first five minutes of our meeting, he said, “Let me show you what the law actually says, I have had to educate other counsel and judges about this.” He printed off the actual law where it states that Wisconsin is a 50/50 state after consideration is made for the following items, which included length of marriage, what each brought into the marriage, and the length of the marriage.
After talking a little more, he asked why I didn’t have a restraining order and I told him that my previous lawyer told me it was 50/50 whether I would get it and that it would be inflammatory and work against me even though I felt very unsafe and threatened. Sean appeared very upset after hearing this, and disagreed, but continued to be professional and not bad mouth the other lawyer.
Sean was very brave about taking on my case this late in the game with a fast approaching court date and so much information to take in. Also, my ex hired a lawyer who I had heard said is the best divorce lawyer in La Crosse. I wholeheartedly disagree, because Sean definitely is the best.
I am still in awe of the commitment Sean made to helping me get a fair trial and a great outcome. I would see emails from him sent on weekends and in the middle of the nightat times. It was so reassuring to know he was on my side and so determined. He blocked out several days of his calendar so that he could familiarize himself with my huge stack of documents. As soon as I retained Sean as my attorney, I finally felt like I could relax and let him take care of it. I knew that no matter what happened with the results of the trial, I would be satisfied, because I had the best representation I could possibly have.
My hearing went on for two days. Sean was relentless in his effort to get me a fair trial and justice. In the end, the judge decided to divide the assets 80/20 in my favor. I did not get everything I wanted, but that never happens in court. It was about $70,000 that Sean saved me based on what my previous attorney was forecasting with a trial outcome.
In some ways, more importantly, Sean gave me the opportunity to tell my story and have it validated by the judge. He was so committed to making it clear that I tried so hard during the marriage and that my ex was dishonest and completely took advantage of me. It seemed that Sean felt a moral obligation to not let my ex take more from me and to have his greediness and dishonesty exposed.
I will also say that his staff was very friendly and hard-working. Sean went out of his way to try to save me money when he could by having me do some of the legwork if I wanted. He kept me consistently updated on status and promptly responded to all of my messages. Hopefully I will never need counsel again, but if I did, I would definitely retain Sean again. If it were possible to give him 10 stars, I would.

Renee represented me during a rough time in my life while I was attempting to obtain a restraining order.
She took her time to get to know the details of my case prior to the court date and answered all of my questions. I was in a divorce case evolving into a more complex divorce case over time as more n more came out that was happening in my marriage behind my back, even when I anticipted a kosher/easy divorce than I had foreseen when I filed.
I went to a well know atty that then began to put me on the defensive as his client, I had to prove to this 1st atty that I was not who my atty & ex, & ex’s atty was making me out to be. He seemed to be siding w my ex after a few months rather than giving me full support…it was “just take this, u already are getting enough and who cares that ur husband has had a girlfriend.”.
Obviously onto atty #2, this was a flat fee for service….bad idea, it became “forget this and that, let’s just get done and finalized” but I felt strongly on issues I personally had and wanted to address in my case and that need attention by my atty and representation to fight for me.
Both lawyers #1 & #2 were afraid of my ex’s lawyer and wanted to look “good” for her, who is/was the President of The Law/Bar Association of WI.
So I began to search for atty # 3, which can sometimes look poor in the eyes of some judges (& atty’s), but I needed 100% support for me and my kids, a strong atty and one that help focus on and address my issues I cared about….. that were almost pushed to the way side by my 1st two atty’s.
Plus, when calling around for my 3rd atty, I had to find one that was not afraid of my ex’s atty. Atty Philip Trampe’s team assured me he is the one to go w in Racine Co….he was originally referred to me by a Waukesha/Milwaukee co atty and swore that Trampe (represented Racine Co.) will side w me and also be open n honest enough to tell me what truly is fair during negotiations, and since it was a high emotion divorce, atty Trampe was able to me focused if I got off track or reeled me back in if my emotions flared up.
