Attorney Nicholas Gansner acted very quickly in response to allegations about 2nd degree sexual assault from 3 and a half years prior to the report. He took his time to gather all of the facts and spoke with the investigating detective on my behalf. Nick kept me updated and informed about the strategies he was taking while working with the detective. I left all of the work to him and he took care of everything. Ultimately, the case never made it past the initial investigation and was never forwarded to the district’s attorney’s office. He was nearly always available by call, text, or email—even responding late at night sometimes. If he was not immediately available, he would reply as soon as he could. I would highly recommend hiring attorney Gansner.

Attorney Gansner worked on my very difficult and emotionally draining case for around 2 years. My confidence in him NEVER wavered! When I had things to say, he really listened and took note. He remembered and made use of pertinent information I had given him. I never felt like he left important details out that I would later need to correct myself. In addition, I noticed that he is extremely well respected by judges and commissioners as well as his peers which is very comforting to witness. Attorney Gansner even worked well with the opposing attorneys and always played fairly but very firmly. He was truly an answer to prayer!

Both Nick Gasnser and Jessica Nicholson are excellent defense attorneys. I was recently represented by Nick Gansner who goes above and beyond to protect your rights. His legal knowledge as well as his communication skills is top-notch. He won’t leave you hanging alone as many attorneys do as soon as they receive your money. I was confused and devastated with what my ex put me through regarding our son. I did my research and decided to go with Cordell and Cordell! Everyone I met at the firm was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful! Elisabeth was who I ended up going with from the firm, and I couldn’t have been any more satisfied! She is extremely knowledgeable! She is very down to earth. Being my first experience with attorneys, I had no clue what I was doing. She was very understanding and helpful throughout the entire process, and even after!! She(and my son) is worth every penny and more! Highly reccomended to any parent out there, but especially anyone who feels hopeless, as I did! In short, Elisabeth has been wonderful to work with. Her approach is to be a concerned listener first which puts both of us in a better position to negotiate without compromising on the issues I feel most strongly about. I recently ended a long-term marriage and -in so doing- found myself slowly being pulled towards a contested divorce trial. My ex-spouse and I found difficulties in reaching a compromise and she was in no hurry to move the divorce forward. Further, I had little knowledge of the divorce laws, the legal processes of divorce or the court system in general as this was my first exposure to a trial. I was really out of my comfort zone in such matters. I came to Rhonda not only for her AAML certification and extensive divorce experience but, in researching her background further, I found that she had a good record for moving cases forward. Her and her team did an absolutely outstanding job. They moved my case forward -and to its completion- expediently and with a good outcome. Further, they dealt with me with patience, understanding and great communication so that I came to a comfort level as the case progressed. Divorce is clearly difficult and challenging for a number of reasons. I am very grateful that Rhonda was so adept at dealing with the legal aspects of my divorce so that I was able to deal with the other challenges that came with this process.

Sue Hansen and her team were gentle, professional, efficient, and truly caring as I went through the divorce process. The Commissioner conducting my final hearing stated, “this is not a woman state, this is not a man state, this IS a kid state.” Sue and her team exuded that very important piece into all of our meetings. The level of hurt I had behind the reason for the divorce impacting my children was alleviated as best as possible through the mediation process. Excellent guidance was provided in all components of this situation. Sue and her staff were exemplary and compassionate while still aiding me through the divorce system itself. I was told by multiple people, “it will get better.” With the help of Sue, she was a big factor in making that advice true. You will not regret the help of Sue, especially if you have children.

Susan Hansen came highly recommended to me, and I can appreciate why. I was going through a difficult divorce, including considerable disputes over family assets, child placement and future monies. Sue Hansen is an excellent lawyer. She possesses all the skills one would want in a lawyer, including the ability to analyse small details, a clear communication style, and a superior level of frankness/trust. But these are not the qualities that set her apart. Sue Hansen posseses a breadth of experience that allows her to see beyond the immediate situation; she has the ability to quickly establish a context. Sue asked me to step back and re-frame my situation. Sue wanted me to 'not live in reaction to,' but rather to focus on constructing a better future for both myself and my children. After a few meetings, she was able to understand my ex spouse's motivations and approach. Sue was quick to adjust our plan when it became apparent that we were reaching a roadblock. She was continiously working to keep the process moving forward. Sue was also willing to not budge on factors that I considered to be of the highest priority; I greatly valued her steadfastness. Sue Hansen possesses this incredible gift of being comforting, but also firm with her clients. She helps her clients see what is best for all members involved. She not only was working on negotiating with my ex spouse and her legal team, but just as importantly, Sue was helping me to negotiate with my various selves-- the emotional, the analytical, the defiant, the uncertain. She helped me stay on course and never did I feel like I was involved in a hopeless battle of wills. Her philosophical approach is matched only by her outstanding strategic mind. Despite numerous challenges, Sue was able to help formulate a final agreement that was livable, fair and put my children in the best position possible. I am stepping away from one of my most heartfelt tragedies with a sense of hope for my own future and for my children. I do not believe this conclusion would have been possible with any lawyer other than Sue Hansen.

Rex and I have known each other for probly 20 years as I have been part of his " Frequent Offender Club", No really! Rex goes out of his way and the proverbial extra mile for ya. I need him again now cus of Caledonia Hypocrites. Criminal or family he will take good care of you. I knew of him through a friend that got divorced and he worked for a very prominent attorney at they time in the 90's whom I hired for a self defense case in 97. Good Man. Laura represented me in a custody/placement case and did an absolutely incredible job. Laura’s utilizes a realistic, effective problem solving approach always with a personalized touch, guided with genuine empathy. Unlike other high profiled divorce attorneys, even though she has a very competent assistant, Laura handles most of the divorce details. This is immensely valuable during legal proceedings which can become very complicated, confusing and difficult for the client to sort through with all the raw emotions. My assets are well into 7 figures, with a significant executive salary, a then wife that did not work outside the home for 25 years. My ex unexpectedly filed and hired what is considered to be the best high profiled divorce attorney from the area. Thankfully with Laura’s attention to detail, tenacity and persistence, we achieved a final divorce judgment within 8 months and out maneuvered them to my financial advantage nearly twice my legal fees. We navigated through two legal depositions, occupational evaluations, and a 12 hour day of mediation, which at many times a settlement appeared to be unattainable. Mind you this day was Laura’s birthday, at the last minute she cancelled all birthday celebration plans. so we could get a deal. I started out with several false allegations including two felonies and several other misdemeanors. I had a very kind lawyer starting but soon realized that being kind was not going to cut it. Not only that but I could never reach her and felt as though my case was being left on the desk. Chris was recommended to me by the WI State Bar. I first contacted him when seeking representation for a civil suit resulting from false allegations that I was currently fighting. I soon learned that Chris was not just another "money hungry" big city lawyer..I began hours of research before calling him and soon decided to give him a call. He sat down with me at no cost and was straight forward with the seriousness of the alleged charges. What started out to be just a consultation about a possible civil suit turned into a substitute of counsel of Chris for my previous lawyer in my criminal case as well. I am a VERY demanding client, especially in the situation I was in and Chris kept me 100% informed and took every last one of my concerns into careful consideration. I went from having a lawyer whom I could not contact for the life of me, to having a wonderful lawyer who would respond to my e-mails within minutes every-time! I myself had lost hope of my dream to become a lawyer due to my false allegations and Chris turned that around for me. Not only did he use his aggressive and highly intellectual style to get my false allegations dismissed, but also has taught me a lot about my future career path. We met Chris and had the opportunity to benefit from from his services several years ago, and he has remained both a friend and our attorney ever since. Chris is a caring person and took control of our case with not only excellent knowledge and professionalism, but with honest care and concern for us personally as well as our situation. Little background on why I giving a review for George E. Miller. Two years ago (2020) I was accused of a crime I DID NOT commit. He became my attorney for that case. He went to bat for me, looked at 3000 pages of evidence, 10k+ of messages between the person accusing and myself, Him and his office kept me updated on everything. Mr. Miller even took a fine by the court to make sure he got everything in to help my case.. As not taking any deals the D.A. offered, I took my case to trial.. As the jury came back with a not guilty verdict. I was truly blessed to have an attorney to put in countless hours and believe in me. High quality work, George Miller is not only a great attorney, but he is down to earth. Looks at you as an equal. Never once I ever felt uncomfortable talking to him. He treated me like a friend. My wife and I were looking a lawyer to write our wills and we found Kyle. The first thing that sold us was his prices were incredible. I didn't think we would be able to afford a will for both of us, but because of his prices we were able to easily afford one for both my wife and I. His belief is that wills should be affordable so everyone can have one written up, and it shows. From the first call to Mr. Duquette to our final resolve of our case with the Village of Williams Bay Mr. Duquette made my wife and myself feel as though we had nothing to worry about, as the Village of Williams Bay did not understand the law as the Village had written it. At the Village board of zoning appeals Mr. Duquette was able to explain the law to the board of zoning appeals. We stood before the board with Mr. Duquette and the board finally realized it was probably in their best interest to allow for our variance due to many mistakes that were made by the Village Building Commissioner and the board of zoning appeals lack of knowledge of the laws they way they had written them. Could not have accomplished this WIN without James Duquette. His staff and James were are very responsive and James is on target with our need and ready to assist us in the future if we should need his services again.

Mindy has been wonderful to work with! My husband and I are in our 30's with young children so we are not, by any means, knowledgeable in legal matters pertaining to the "what if" questions of our home, property, and most importantly, our children, if something were to happen to us. Thankfully, Mindy is! We didn't think we had enough "stuff" or money to have a trust but when Mindy sits down with you to "lay it all out", it is quite shocking what one actually has! Attorney Ortman Miller is a sensible, knowledgeable, fair, tough and responsive lawyer. She successfully managed two of my cases (divorce & child custody) simultaneously and the outcomes were in my favor. I recently had to seek legal counsel from Jane for a severe elder abuse case that I was involved in with helping the client. I have worked with lawyers in the past for other reasons. I have never had such caring, personal, attentive care toward my situation from a lawyer. Jane goes the extra mile to get things done for everybody involved in the situation.
