Seeking a divorce attorney was very challenging. I needed an attorney who could work with a complex process. My first attorney failed me - he declined to seek out a VITAL portion of my MSA! Frustrated and spent (one year of time and many dollars wasted), I declined to agree with the substandard MSA, and instead pushed myself to seek better representation.
After a long and scrutinizing search, I came across Mandy Caffee's office. I made a phone inquiry and felt very encouraged, so I drove the miles to meet her. Mandy was professional, organized, and kept me encouraged, even as I explained how my first attorney let me down. Mandy understood I lived a distance from her office, so she made sure I could communicate easily with her - she upheld this 110%!
After two years, and two attorneys (Mandy Caffee as my 2nd), my divorce was finalized. Mandy was professional, well organized, driven, and fierce. She validated my concerns, dug deep into a newer process (all while being open and honest with the progress), and made sure I wasn't walked on by my ex-spouse. I left the courtroom feeling confident in the new and well improved MSA , as well as my life moving forward. I can't imagine how things would have been if I simply settled with the outcome from my first attorney.

After a very long-term marriage, I finally made the decision to seek a divorce. Shannon thoroughly explained the divorce process answering all of my initial questions as well as many additional questions along the way. My divorce should have been relatively simple, but there were obstacles presented by my now ex along the way. Shannon was always there for me. She was great in working with opposing counsel in attempting to resolve my case without having it go to trial. Shannon was quick to respond to me whether by text, email, or phone. She pointed out my options with many decisions to be made along the way, but stressed she would proceed as I felt best. Shannon is extremely knowledgeable, and if something arises she is unsure of or wants to verify, she will immediately research the information getting an accurate answer. I would highly recommend Shannon as a divorce attorney.

Several months ago I was slammed with a hefty speeding ticket after attempting to pass an unsafe driver on the highway. I was ordered to pay $250 and had a 6 point mark on my license, which would likely lead to even greater losses due to my insurance. Amy was a truly amazing help throughout the whole process; not only did she handle the entirety of the court processions and remove that stressor, she also managed to negotiate a total negation of the ticket as long as I took a short drivers safety class for a considerably cheaper $70 fee. Without her, I would’ve been at a complete loss, and I can’t thank her for her services enough!!

15 months from start to finish. That’s what it took for my case. At first glance I don’t believe any attorney, if given the chance to look at my case would of thought it’d become an issue.
I hired Amy Menzel through a recommendation of word of mouth. After the initial consultation. She gave me a outlook of possibilities. All of which ultimately would be determined by how I handled myself in this domestic case.
I should add that my case began in December of 2019. Due to COVID, the pace of or lack there of almost seemed to come to a stop. The hearings were stretched out. All of a sudden everything was done over the phone or web conference. This in my opinion created a handy cap of sorts due to the D.A’s lack of familiarity with my case. It seemed as if they were going over the same issues during every new hearing. The positive information I was attempting to show them sort of got lost in the traffic jam of the court due to the pandemic.
With the amount of time Attorney Menzel dedicated to my case because of the aforementioned issues. I started to view this case as if it was almost for charity considering the extreme amount of extra time it took.
At no point from start to finish did attorney Menzel ever make me feel secondary. Anytime I sent a question out through email or phone. I would get a quick response. She never promised me a magic deal where all the charges I had pending would simply disappear. But that she could greatly reduce the damage.
When it was all said and done I’m at the opinion that I got the absolute best deal anyone in my position could have asked for. I strongly feel that my representation from attorney Menzel exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who is in need of her expertise. A++ job. She’s a very smart, classy and all around genuine lady to work with.

I am a Senior and am a bladder cancer survivor. Because of my treatment I have very little time when nature calls. I was speeding on the freeway in an attempt to make the next exit. The police officer had little understanding and I was give a citation for a significant amount over the speed limit. I contacted Katz Law and received an IMMEDIATE response. Caleb said "not-to-worry" and he and his team went to work on my behalf. Everything was handled in such a professional manner and the final resolution was in my favor. Katz Law IS THE BEST and they did exactly as was promised. Not good, but GREAT!

Michelle represented me during my recent divorce proceding. (I found Michele after experiencing some challenges with a different attorney). From the first meeting I appreciated Michelle's ability to cut to the key issues, her candor, straight talk and willingness to level with me on some tough topics. She demonstrated an excellent ability to provide me legal advice for the topics that had to be addressed at the moment, but took the time to explain the downstream implications and tradeoffs associated with different strategies and approaches. Divorce is a tough, emotional process and Michelle demonstrated compassion and kindness as well- she knew when to push and how to handle sensitive topics. The value of this kind of smart, objective advice was invaluable to me.
Communication was always timely, thorough and spot on the mark. She was always up to speed on the details of my case. She is not the type of lawyer who shields helfself behind a paralegal (like many do). Michelle is hands on with all aspects of the case. In dealing with divorce matters, she also had the uncanny abilit to 'do the numbers in her head' and discuss possible outcomes. No doubt this comes from experience-as a lawyer and a mediator and every time I talked with her that experience showed. She was as comfortable negotiating, as conducting a deposition as going through the trial process.
Overall, divorce (particularly in a long term marriage) is a messy ugly process that can be made even uglier and more painful with the wrong attorney.
