Michael and his team did an awesome job helping us reposition some real estate assets in our family trust. I really appreciated his free consultation and his constant communication throughout the whole transaction. We met in-person one time to handle some document signing and everything else was handled electronically. He even included the notary services in his fees, which were very reasonable. I was in a very difficult situation where I purchased a house during the pandemic that was tenant occupied. The tenants barred me from conducting a professional inspection prior to purchase due to Covid concerns as one tenant was elderly. Against my better judgment, I purchased the house without a professional inspection and had to wait over a year after purchasing for the tenants to “feel comfortable enough” to allow an inspection. Had my insurance company not requested it, I don’t think they would have allowed it at all. Upon inspection, we discovered very extensive damage caused by negligence on the tenants part. Half of the kitchen was required to be demolished all the way down to the crawl space. After completing the work, I hired an attorney to represent me in an eviction on the basis of waste caused to the property. This attorney mishandled my case in every way imaginable. From being impossible to get ahold of, missing court deadlines, misplacing evidence, rejections of filings due to simple clerical errors, filing paperwork under my name for other cases, etc. I became so overwhelmed and ill with stress that I searched for a new attorney to substitute. I consulted with about 15 lawyers total and Tiffany Travillion was by far the best. She took on my case even though it was going to be difficult based on the errors and negligence in filings from my previous counsel. Not only was she thorough and promptly up to speed on everything, she was incredibly easy to get ahold of and really went the extra mile when she took the time to assure me, an anxious emotional mess, that she would not mishandle my case like my previous attorney. I finally had peace of mind and that meant the world. She kept me informed in real time on the status of my case and filings. She was easy to talk to and I finally felt like someone had my back. Her staff are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We worked on this case for nearly a year and in the end, she won my case and got my house back. I was months away from having to cut my losses and sell my house at a huge loss. I can’t thank Tiffany and her team enough. I don’t know where I would be without them.

Leon and his team has been nothing but amazing! No one wants to make a choice to go through with bankruptcy, but sometimes, that's the only option available. Going through a difficult and stressful period in my life where my finances were becoming too overbearing to deal with, I felt my only option was to file for bankruptcy. I visited a couple different BK Lawyers. But it was Mikalah that was referred to me by a lawyer that was retiring, and said he'd hoped to pass on his practice to Mikalah because of his skill level. Anyway true he wasn't the cheapest I talked to but when your talking BK, that's nothing I want to get cheapest deal when we're talking this magnitude of an issue. His professionalism was outstanding, and preparation was acceptional. I'd highly recommend him. Even the judge was impressed with his oganization.

We had an unusual bankruptcy issue, and we felt as if we were doomed, in spite of the benefits of the Bankruptcy law which is intended to give debtors a fresh start.
It turned out that while our situation was complicated, it was not beyond James Michel's knowledge. Mr. Michel ran circles around the other attorneys on the case, and ended up securing a surprisingly beneficial settlement for us.

I called Raffy to see if he could help me with a real estate issue I was having. Raffy said that due to the time-consuming nature of my problem, he couldn’t help me but could refer me to another lawyer.
But he graciously agreed to a 1-hour consultation. He is a great listener, and his advice was excellent. He drew upon years of legal experience, telling me what he thought I should do, and what my risks are with the various options I am considering.
Frankly, he just comes across as someone with high integrity. He seems to derive satisfaction from doing an excellent job and cultivating a great reputation.
I was amazed that at the end of our meeting he did not try to sell me on his services. I asked again if he could take my legal work, and he said he was too busy since he doesn’t like to outsource any legal work to other people, but prefers to do it all himself since that’s what his clients are expecting.
I recommend that if you need legal advice, you call Raffy and see if he has time to help you. You won’t regret it.

Words cannot explain how impressed I am with Attorney Raffy Boulgourjian. I found him on the attorney website AVVO and am so truly thankful I did.
I had rushed back to the country due to receiving court papers by a company claiming breach of contract (they were claiming I had signed to sell my house to them at 50% off market price and at 200k less than what I owed the bank) My house was NOT for sale, not to mention, I was out of the country when this supposed contract was signed. I was searching for attorneys on AVVO and after researching and cross referencing with other attorney review sites I compiled a list of potential attorneys and started making calls. Raffy was the chosen one. Not only was he patient and helpful, during the initial phone call he attempted to walk me through the steps that I could take in order to resolve this on my own without retaining his services and incurring attorney fees --- apparently he had a client with the same type of case as mine, copy paste except for our names.
I appreciated his honesty in trying to save me money but could not take any chances in attempting to handle this myself... He was the chosen ONE. I retained his services and am so glad that I did. He was available throughout the entire process via phone call and email, he kept me updated in detail anytime he had new information. He took care of it all, got the lien taken off of my house got the fraudulent case against me dropped basically did everything he had set out to do and all in a short period of time. He sent me monthly invoices with a breakdown showing me exactly what was billed and get this…. In the end I get a check back for the money’s not used. I am going to be honest, as I was with him, I did not expect any money back, I feel like he under billed, it would have been worth every single penny had he kept the entire retainer and, yes, I would have written a review regardless, but, I am so impressed with this final action on his part that I decided to go more in detail with the specifics on my case and rid you of any doubts.. If you are reading this review and you need an attorney then don’t hesitate to call him. I have never been impressed with attorneys and have actually sided with the term “Lawyer=Liar” but not anymore. Raffy Bougourjian is a Lawyer and is a straight forward and honest person. I am now a believer that there are good people who turn into great attorneys with an amazing work ethic.

While going through a very nasty divorce (3 years and counting), my ex took control of my business and stopped paying all debt I co-signed for including community property debt. I was faced with the decision that nobody wants to make.... I had to file bankruptcy.
I met with numerous large, medium and small law firms. Most meetings were with either a sales person with little knowledge or a paralegal. Having done my own research, I quickly learned that each time I was given bad advise and pressured to "sign up before it's too late". I came across Brian via Avvo and scheduled a meeting. Expecting to meet with another sale person or paralegal, I was pleasantly surprised to meet with Brian himself. I kept him busy with question after question during a meeting that lasted almost an hour. He never rushed me or made me feel like I was wasting his time. In fact he kept asking if I had further questions for him. He seemed to like the rapid and numerous questions I kept throwing at him. He had answers to the questions nobody else did and knows bankruptcy law inside and out. Some other firms I met with told me I had to have my divorce finalized before I could file. However, Brian was the only one with the knowledge and expertise to get my Chapter 7 filed and discharged. My case was not a simple one as my ex attempted to block my discharge and I had numerous creditors due to my business and assets. However, Yuri and Brian got it discharged with no problem. Both Brian and Yuri are the only attorneys I would recommend. If you have a simple or complex bankruptcy, I would not recommend anyone other than Brian and Yuri. The entire law group couldn't have been better to deal with!
Don't waste your time like I did with bankruptcy "mills", sales people and paralegals. I simply can't say enough about how great Yuri and Brian are...... They will take good care of you!

I’ve known Michael now for 10 years and was impressed with his attention to detail and the way he knows the law better than most while knowing when to strike and when to wait for the bait. Michael is by far the best litigator I have met and that is why I hired him and to see the other side continually dig themselves out of holes Michael put them in and he continued to do this until they simply couldn’t or didn’t have a way to remedy their case or side.
