Maybe good at other law. Didnt see that with this criminal case. It was gonna a challenge but....$50,000 for taking the case and $27,000 for trial with just a 1/3 of the $27,000 returned after being convinced the Trial may not be the best route.
Chewing gum & rocking in his chair at sentencing. Barely spoke to the Judge, his assistant. Sam did his work for him.
( She needs her own practice, having her own legal firm would be successful.)
I don't understand the 4 stars either.
And yes....still got the 10yr sentence.
Hhhmmmm.
Don't believe all the hype. Do ur homework because you will be doing his work for him.
Don't sign anything his request without someone else reading it also. Clarity was a huge issue here.

My wife Cynthia and Me were frightened and devastated when our brokerage firm after having lost 1.5 million dollars of our retirement savings over the course of a year and a half phoned to say we should liquid our portfolio.

We hired Mr. Bilu to help us get out of a contract with a large custom homes builder. We had entered into a purchase contract with this homes builder about a year ago. As required, we had put down a large deposit. The home was built and it was time to go to closing. However, we has still not sold our current home. Therefore, the builder wanted to cancel the purchase agreement and keep our deposit. We did not have a contingency but we did have a VA Addendum with the builder. Mr. Bilu communicated with the builder on our behalf. He was able to obtain our deposit back from the builder. At first, I was a little hesitant to work with Mr. Bilu merely because he was going on vacation. However, he maintained open communication with me regarding the updates provided from the builder's attorney. I was very pleased that he would take the time to answer my emails promptly during his vacation. Mr. Bilu was direct and made everything simple. Thank you! Also, for the record we had consulted another attorney regarding the same case before Mr. Bilu and we were not happy since he didn't really take time to even take a look at our "case". He dismissed us saying that the builder had the right to keep our deposit even though we had an addendum that clearly stated the builder could not keep it.

Atty Mike Robertson got right to the nut and bolts of offering legal info. Unfort he told me there were no legal avenues for me related to my employment issues. I already thought this was the case but I needed to make sure from a legal expert. He didn't sugar coat it and he got to the point which i respected and needed. He did care enough to stay on the phone with me and chatted more about life and society. He initially comes across as apathetic and no nonsense attorney but underneath -he has a wealth of empathy-street smarts—and life awareness- and he knows there is no time in life to dwell and feel sorry for oneself.
